wonderful news folks! Sleepmode shall be resurected from the graveyards of the mortally challenged stiffs of rocknroll and reunited once more!

Yes that's right! In 2012, Sleepmode will be resurected from the fiery furnace of satan's bowls only to lead the world into a grand cacophony of death and destruction shortly prior to the end of all humanity.. we certainly hope you can make it. we will be playing on the great mountain of mohamed in 3 years time, where shall beheld the first eye witness acounts of the great and hideous planet nabu, throwing it's deathly shadow upon earth and casting us all into darkness for eternity.. but fear not. Sleepmode will be there to brave the closing curtain and play our glorious melodies to the beating drum of the world's final funeral march. To the bitter end we shall sing, like those pricks in that film titanic when the boat is sinking.. only much better than them ofcourse, with such memorable and epic songs as one could only dream of in the event of the apocalypse.... until then we wait with baited breath and shall continue to post blogs and put up old and unheard material from time to time on the myspace page just for those who cared for Sleepmode while they danced within the realm of the living.

Hail to ye all friends of Sleepmode!!

Sunday evening 8.30pm the band will be taking to the stage at Brel, Ashton Lane in the West End for an hour or so of fine acoustic renditions from their varied catalog. Expect to hear some old and new material delivered as ever in the time honoured Sleepmode fashion.

This is the second of three acoustic show on the tour - the first being Ord Ban in Aviemore a cracking bar / restaurant where great enjoyment and dancing was had by all. The third acoustic installment comes next week in the North East town of Banchory.

Ticket price is £5 on the door, which rather than going in to the hands of an external promoter will be going to support the continuing Misty Tour of Scotland and the forthcoming single release... a good cause if ever there was one.

Welcome welcome oh beautiful followers of Sleepmode! For those of you confused by what this huge fucking mess above actually is, i shall explain!! IT'S A TOUR POSTER FOR THE GRAND SLEEPMODE MISTY TOUR OF SCOTLAND!! That's right people you heard it.. There will be everything from sacrificial goat slaughtering to a nice vegan delicacy spread afterwards for those who need to restore the karmic ballance following the ingestion of goats blood from a golden chalice! There will also be uncomprehensibly futuristic music hard to understand for that of the undeveloped ear drum however we trust that anybody with the good sense to join us on tour will be well equiped for the evening's entertainment! Hope to feel your face out there in the mist my beauties!!

We are launching an all sleepmode campaign on which the future of music itself depends. in preparation for the forth coming scottish tour and special edition vinyl single release, we are putting together a team. there must be at least 40 collective members of the sleepmode guerilla marketing campaign in order for us to achieve our goals. the first step is to gather all interested individuals and put together a plan of action for the weeks leading up to the tour and single. some ideas have already came to fruition including that of a top secret mission for devotees of the band to carry out with great skill and accuracy. the sleepmode revolution is beginning. do not be afraid, do not question. simply send us your message of agreement. there will be many treasures and rewards for those dedicated to sleepmode. we hope to hear from you soon.

Sorry we've been away for a while again.  Adam's been off in the states, Merv was lost in Europe and Robin and Paul have been in jail....

Anyways, to let you know, we've annonced a Scottish tour!  We'll be playing up and down the country all during September.  So come out and see us!!!

Also working on getting some more action south of the border.  So should be announcing that soon too!

We're releasing a single at the start of October.  The launch is at Captains Rest on 2nd October!  That's all we're telling you for now.....

Just an update on the gig front. It may seem like all is eerily quiet, but it is very much the calm before the storm... starting late August we already have a load of gigs booked as far apart as Inverness and Manchester.

Stay tuned: we hope to announce the tour and quite a few warm up gigs very soon.
