one and all..

the process of collecting tracks in is well and truly on the way.. i might start streaming a few to tease the general public (i have a parTICularly superb track by the late great daniel johnston waiting in the wings.. mmm-hmm.)

but.. time is tickin. always tickin.. SO all of you kids out there who kindly agreed to write something for this, please get in touch and let me know how you're getting on! we ideally want everything in by april, i hope that's still cool with you people..

and last but not least, by any stretch... THE CRIMEA!! i LOVE the crimea. well chuffed.

right.... that's kinda it, as far as recruiting one minnitters is concerned. we got our 50.

BUT.... we're gonna have an enhanced section on the album which will play host to all the minutes we get that don't make the 50 on the album proper, so if anyone wants to submit stuff, please do!

more cool stuff happened innit.

the boyfriends have confirmed. as have larrikin love. and ladyfuzz. and piney gir. and the coral sea.

that is a small update, but one of my favourites.

so newly involved are: TRADEMARK, EARLY YEAR, THE PLAYWRITES, SENNEN, THE HALF RABBITS, PHIL AND THE OSOPHERS, RACHEL LIPSON, MY LUMINAIRES, MR G AND RICH, WILL SARTAIN, FRANC, GRAND MAL, NICK LEWIS... (plus last week’s band of merry men and women - a million billion, jeremy warmsley, dead! dead! dead!, pandatone, tom hatred, joy zipper, emmy the great, jareth white, i like trains, el alto, after christmas, seven sided star, rob montejo, andrew kaffer, ailing popes, akira, don's mobile barbers..)

which makes 50minutes happy. Oh yeh. wazzocks..!

massive thank you to all those who have signed up to do this so far. the project is still very much in its early stages, but i'm pretty chuffed with the artists who have so far agreed to contribute..
