Hi all,so ive had people asking me and we have had messages etc asking us what we have been up to over here in canada and why we dont seem to update our myspace anymore or dont have any shows listed etc etc..

so heres the deal....

Bleeders are now officially on a break.No we have not broken up..and we dont like to use words like ":hiatus".It has come at the end of 7 years of non stop work..we have seen the highs and the lows of beeing in a band,and it just feels right at this stage to call it to a holt for the time beeing

in jan we moved to Toronto canada,played some cool gigs including an album release show with Alexisonfire!Its been super fun but super tough,and having to go back to scratch from such a rewarding career in NZ hasnt been easy on us.
The realitys of having to go work shit jobs..just in the hope ":somthing might happen" is the straw the broke the camels back.Some of us are getting old..haha and its time to think about prioritys

We are all still good freinds,and the chance of reuniting in a few years {when me and george return from canada}and writing and recording a 3rd album and some touring is somthing im sure we would all want!

Thanks to everyone for your support.In NZ,Aus and Canada.
We love you all!

Hi all,angelo here.so...those who dont know.Bleeders have spent the last 3 months beginning an exciting new chapter.3 of us moved over to Toronto/Canada in jan.The last 2 of us arrived 4 weeks ago.so we are all now here and ready to go.We have played the 1 show so far and that was with legendary punk group from the 90's SNFU.this was at canadian music week and was  a heap of fun..Over the next few months coming up we will be playing alot more.so things are looking up!

NZ fans..it mayb be next year before ya see us again.however we are pleased to say we have been writing  anew album and have 3 new songs so far.Demo's will be added to our page in the upcoming months so stay tuned for that!

Hey all,as i write this i am sitting up loading cds onto my itunes on my laptop killing time....its 1.30am and i leave for the airport in 2 hours.thats right...

the majority of us bleeders fly out to l.a this morning to embark on the biggest adventure of our career!

So...id just like to give a big thankyou to all our fans in nz/aus have have come out to our shows,bought our cds or supported in anyway.through the highs and the lows we thankyou from the bottom of our hearts!

So whats now...we kick in in l.a for a bit then we fly out to Toronto Canada.which will be Bleeders base for the next year.Its time to do new shit,make new fans and just experience life  a bit.I remember when we started the band 6 years ago we never dreamed of gold records,or... music awards and all the awesome shit we have done in nz..What we really dreamed of was to get the band overseas and tour..cos..is'nt that any kiwi musicians dream?

2009..We will record a new record.And 2010 we will be back.so keep safe,stay in touch all who read this..your support is greatly appreciated!

Thats right..check out our shows on our page if we are coming to your town..cos these are the final bleeders gigs in nz till 2010.theres been alot of speculation and rumours flying around about what we are doing and if we are still  a band.

the answer is yes!!we are planning to tour the u.s and canada etc  next year beeing based abroad..so these will be the last shows to see us play..and there will be loads of old songs from shit we have done 2002-2008.

We regret to announce that our show in Napier at this stage has been cancelled.The venue we were due to play has had to pull th show and we couldnt find anything in such short notice.We are really sorry!

hi all,just though we would give ya  little update on whats been happening in bleeders land on the sth island leg of our tour.

 

we are currently 5 shows into our tour and veryone has been great!i have to say though,that the pick of the bunch has been last nights show in queenstown!

who would of thought that on a tues night in the off season that so many punters would show up for some bleeders love! this was our first time there,and it def wont be our last! thankyou to all that came and danced and sang along!

 

tonight takes us to invercargill{no no..no jokes about the shithole of the universe aye!!!haha} we havnt played here for 3 years,so heres hoping its a goodie!

all and all is been great and the new songs are getting taken very well!we got a afew more shows left before we take 2 weeks off  before we embark on the rest..so until then....
