A cute couple they'll make...

April 3, 2006 - DeLay announces his resignation from the House.  Of course, his indictment related to corruption charges wouldn't have anything to do with that, he mentions other reasons.  But most Americans know that the corruption is there and of course groups like Moveon.org don't seem to help as they tend to advertise the failings of the Republicans in so many ways.

A few days before that Andrew Card, someone the average American wouldn't have a clue who was announced is resignation from the position of Chief of Staff of the White House.  Now, Andrew Card has been there for a while and probably has his hand in some of the corrupt dealings happening at the White House since Bush moved in.  What are the real reasons he's leaving?  Who knows for sure, I'm sure one of the Republicans will write a book about it.

Of course, there's Libby, the close assistant to one of the most evil men frequenting the White House and the multitude of dark shadowy areas of undisclosed location, Dick Cheney.  But he resigned as soon as he was indicted by the Grand Jury that was investigating the leak of secret information in retaliation for a report that disagreed with Bush's reasons for going to war.

There should be more coming from the CIA Agent leak soon, as the Prosecutor works up some more names and charges for the Bush White House and the crooked little bastards within.  Oh, I know, "innocent until proven guilty", but that only applies to the crooked Republicans, it doesn't apply to anyone that:

  1. Disagrees with the Bush Administration
  2. Strays from the Evil Mandate of the Republican Party Line
  3. Doesn't believe in illegal, immoral wars for the sole reason of profit

Now the Democrats aren't really that much help.  It seems that every time that something is shown them that would convince any person that still has one working brain cell to get upset about what is happening to this country at the hands of the Republicans, that they scream about:

  1. Getting to the bottom of this (read, let's have a meeting)
  2. Stand up for what's right (read, until Cheney calls and let's them know the Republican Party Line)
  3. Do the Right thing (read, follow lock step with the Republicans)

That's just the politics of the situation.  Is there any hope for America?  I'm not sure at this point.  The state that the Republicans are going to leave this country in will take decades of hard work to repair.  Bush has snubbed the International Community in EVERY International endeavor that has been tabled.  Contracts, Treaties, and Programs that were used to cooperate with the World and bring the World together has been tossed into the trash can by Bush and his Crooked Buddies.

Bush has been busy working up to his next war, Iran.  Using the same tired arguments that he used to start the illegal, immoral and for profit war he did in Iraq.  Of course the World doesn't really want Iran to have nuclear weapons, it would seem crazy to give a madman nuclear materials, equipment, uranium and such, but the Republicans gave those things to Korea.  But the Republicans didn't give Iran those things, and most of the problem with Iran is that China and Russia are making the money from the Iran nuclear programs not the Republicans.  And we all know the bottom line there, if the Republicans aren't able to get money out of it, it has to be evil.

I don't know.. sometimes people ask me what I have planned for the future and I have no idea what to tell them anymore.  I used to have plans of owning my own home, but at price of $290,000 and up for a box of 600 square feet just doesn't seem like a good buy.  I used to think that I could work all my life and someday retire, but more companies today are seeking to remove employees to outsource them, going bankrupt because they want to lower the wages of their employees, and going bankrupt to rid themselves of keeping their retirement program promises.

I sit and wonder, why people aren't upset a bit more in America.  But maybe the size of Britney's Boobs this week, or who is going to be the next American Idol is more important than how the country is run.  Yeah, the Democrats and Republicans in office today are basically failures when it comes to doing their jobs.  The Republicans failing because they have only used their jobs to fill their pockets.  The Democrats for just sitting back and letting them do it.  But the biggest failure really has been the average American, that stupid idiot that screams bloody murder because the batteries died on the remote, but won't take the time to actually vote when it's time to vote.

Just have to wait and see.  I just know that when it comes to me, I'm going to still rage against the stuff going on the best way I can.  Drive around in my little 1972 VW Bug with my favorite Bumperstickers and try my best to survive under the Bush Bastard from Hell and his Crooked Buddies.

The Asses of Evil...

"The Democrats' plan for 2006?" Republican National Committee Chairman Ken Mehlman wrote in a fundraising e-mail Thursday. "Take the House and Senate and impeach the president. With our nation at war, is this the kind of Congress you want?"

Let me say this - YES, that is EXACTLY the kind of Congress that I want.  A Congress that will be a check to the unchecked power abuses of the White House with George "Little Hitler" W. Bush.

Bush has been using the Patriot Act just like Hitler did the Enabling Act.  To grab power in all areas of the government and destroy most of the checks and balances in the country when it comes to the rights that are guaranteed in the Bill of Rights and Constitution.

Don't believe me?  Just sit back and enjoy the unemployment check and let things fall apart, it's up to you.  I know that my life changed so much when this asshole and his friends starting taking the country over.  I know that I was watching the tube when little Georgie said that he was going to get Osama Bin Laden, or is that Osama Bin Hussein.  Because Osama is from Iraq, or was that Afghanistan, or maybe he's in Iran.  We aren't sure, the one chance that the US Government had to actually GET Osama, Bush and his Crooked Idiot Friend decided to let the locals take care of it and he of course got away.

I know that Bush must secretly thank god (whatever god may be to Bush, probably the almighty dollar) that Osama attacked the United States.  Bush would never have been able to convince anyone that he was any kind of real American.  Of course, with the illegal surveillance in the name of "national security", the same name that Nixon used and caused him to resign from office.  Of course, with Nixon, he was wiretapping, Bush isn't wiretapping, he's just tying into the major corporation switches of communication in the country and grabbing everything and all that he can.

Bush refuses to report to Congress the use of the information, the names of the of the people that he considers "terrorists" and needs "surveillance".  So far the list has included, with the help of local police departments, every anti-war group in the country, including having military intelligence personnel watching a group of grandmothers against the war.  Yeah, I always considered my grandmother a terrorist.  Course under the definition that Bush uses to determine who is a terrorist:  Anyone that disagrees with Bush is a Terrorist.

And of course, Congress, Republicans and Democrats are following the stinky ass of the Bush Butt right down the road towards hell.  Democrats are so afraid of making a damn mistake that they are scared shitless that they might lose an election.  Guess what, you're losing elections right now by NOT standing up for what is RIGHT.  Bush is NOT the KING of the United States.  What he says is NOT LAW, PERIOD.

Unfortunately, I believe that much of the surveillance that is being done is most likely on anyone that Bush and his Crooked Cronies believe might endanger their financial bottom line.  They are making MILLIONS while sucking the finances of this country into nothingness.  Right now, the United States OWES more money than any other country ever has and who holds those little loans?  China has the biggest chunk of it, those cute little cheap things that you have in your house made by slave labor are the reason.

And now you see people protesting and rallying against the Immigration Bill that Congress wants to change the way the country deals with illegal aliens.  So what does Bush really want to do, make illegal immigrants felons.  Felons need to be jailed, so the $385 million dollar 5,000 person "detention center" is being built to house a "sudden influx of illegal aliens".  Doesn't sound so bad really, a nice new huge prison, built close to military bases, because, guess what.  The Military can force civilian prisoners to work on military bases.  Is the ability of recruiters to lie to young men and women about the joys of being in the military that bad that they need to imprison aliens and just accidentally use them as human cannon fodder later on, all in the name of "national security"?

Yeah, it all seems to be fantastic to think about really, but did you think that the United States could actually sell nuclear equipment and nuclear fuel to Korea.  There aren't threats of war on Korea.  Why?  Republicans are making money from the Nuclear stuff in Korea.  Iran has nuclear equipment too, but what is the problem with that?  China and Russia are making money from those nuclear programs, not the Republicans.  So the bottom line is:  If Republicans can make money from it, it's okay, illegal or not.  If anyone else is making money from it, without some big pay off to the Republicans it's a bad thing.

The funny thing is:  The Judicial Committee in Congress is going to get together and discuss the censure of President Bush.  The bastard needs to be impeached and REMOVED from office, including all of his crooked cronies.  This is the same judicial committee that basically shrugged it's shoulders at the illegal domestic spying that Bush and his Crooked Cronies are doing.  Is there going to be a result from all this committee crap?  Sure, they will bring in all the "big wigs" and ask them questions, of course NOT swearing them in so they can't be held accountable for lying to Congress.  That's against the law by the way.

Will there be any real action against Bush?  I don't believe that any of the Congress people are going to do their job.  I don't care what the secret crap is, Bush and the policies of the Crooked Crony Club is destroying this country, bit by bit, piece by piece, and soul by soul all for "national security".

But, there is an election this year, and if ALL of the voters that sat on their collective lazy American Asses last time got out and took the time to vote, maybe something would change.  I don't care WHO you vote for, but show up, do the ONLY thing that an American can do to actually say something to Congress and the Government, VOTE.

Bush stated today, March 25, 2006 in regards to the bill for the immigration, "Amnesty would be unwise.."  Of course, the reasons he mentioned is that Amnesty encourages the lawbreakers to continue to break the law and lets them get away with it.  hmmmmmmmm.. isn't that what Congress is doing by rubberstamping an illegal domestic spying program that has NO judicial or congressional review of the activities only directed, controlled and directed by Bush and his Crooked Crony Club?

So, if the democrats do happen to get their heads out of their asses and actually showing some backbone and can switch the control of the Senate or the House, then there will be enough check to actually investigate all the things that are WRONG with the Bush Administration and the Crooked Crony Club.  And frankly, I would be quite happy to pay taxes to see true investigations into Bush and his Crooked Crony Club.  And I would remind them of ONE thing, "Amnesty would be unwise.."

The True President...

George W. Bush, President, United States, 2000-1/29/2009

Egad, what a horrible fact.  But as some may have noticed recently there are some things that have finally come to light about Bush and his Crooked Cronies.

First - IRAQ war was desired from the beginning.  Bush, while answering a question about why the Iraq started couldn't answer the question with any sense of intelligence.  I know, intelligence and Bush in the same sentence, same page, same book, same century is a stretch of the imagination.  But he could not come up with a real reason for the war, fumbling over his reasoning.  Don't believe me?  Check out the answer for yourself.

The President: Excuse me, excuse me. No President wants war. Everything you may have heard is that, but it's just simply not true. My attitude about the defense of this country changed on September the 11th. We - when we got attacked, I vowed then and there to use every asset at my disposal to protect the American people. Our foreign policy changed on that day, Helen. You know, we used to think we were secure because of oceans and previous diplomacy. But we realized on September the 11th, 2001, that killers could destroy innocent life. And I'm never going to forget it. And I'm never going to forget the vow I made to the American people that we will do everything in our power to protect our people.

Part of that meant to make sure that we didn't allow people to provide safe haven to an enemy. And that's why I went into Iraq - hold on for a second-

There's more for you to look at here, including an online video of his answer.
http://www.truthout.org/docs_2006/032206A.shtml

Second - IRAQ was never intended to end nor was our presence in Iraq supposed to end any time in the near or far future.  In the same press conference Bush stated that pulling troops out of Iraq will be left to "future president" and the funding that is being requested today, while playing to the increasing chorus of people demanding the troops be brought home, Bush and his Crooked Cronies are asking for, and getting millions of dollars to build permanent bases in Iraq for guess what - American Troops.

The truly sad thing about that, is that the presence of the US Military at bases in Saudi Arabia was just ONE reason that Osama Bin Laden stated for the attack on 9/11.  Of course there were NO Iraq citizens within any of the groups related to 9/11, but there were plenty of Saudis.  Bush is setting the course for increased terrorism throughout the world with his and his crooked cronies little plans.  But the bottom line isn't protection, it's all about MONEY, and Bush and his Crooked Cronies have been raking that in by the barrel full ever since Bush stood up and swore to destroy the Constitution and the Country that used to believe in it.

Third - The illegal surveillance of Americans by Bush is being rubberstamped by the Crooked Crony club of Congress.  And Bush, in his ultimate idea that he is the King of the United States indicated when he signed the latest "Patriot Act" that -

after the reporters and guests had left, the White House quietly issued a "signing statement," an official document in which a president lays out his interpretation of a new law.

In the statement, Bush said that he did not consider himself bound to tell Congress how the Patriot Act powers were being used and that, despite the law's requirements, he could withhold the information if he decided that disclosure would "impair foreign relations, national security, the deliberative process of the executive, or the performance of the executive's constitutional duties."

Bush wrote: "The executive branch shall construe the provisions . . . that call for furnishing information to entities outside the executive branch . . . in a manner consistent with the president's constitutional authority to supervise the unitary executive branch and to withhold information . . . "

The statement represented the latest in a string of high-profile instances in which Bush has cited his constitutional authority to bypass a law.

After The New York Times disclosed in December that Bush had authorized the military to conduct electronic surveillance of Americans' international phone calls and e-mails without obtaining warrants, as required by law, Bush said his wartime powers gave him the right to ignore the warrant law.

And when Congress passed a law forbidding the torture of any detainee in US custody, Bush signed the bill but issued a signing statement declaring that he could bypass the law if he believed using harsh interrogation techniques was necessary to protect national security.

You can see this entire article at: http://www.truthout.org/docs_2006/032406J.shtml

Now, it's not my place to tell someone how to think.  The only thing that I can do is make sure that friends of mine are not sitting in the dark when something is coming their way that will curtail their lives in a negative way.  I'm not clairvoyant.  I don't know the future.  Never in my wildest dreams could I have dreamt that the damage that has been caused by Bush and his Crooked Cronies was even possible.

Bush in the 5 short years that he has been in office has basically nullified the Congress as far as a check and balance to power.  Soon, he may try to just shut them down because they cost money and he needs that to wage yet another war, Iran.  The only thing that I suggest these days is:  When you are listening to someone spewing the bullshit of Bush and his Crooked Cronies, you have three options:  1) sit there like a gutless democrat and let them run roughshod over everything that this country used to stand for; 2) run them over with your shopping cart.. "oops.. the media made me do it"; 3) or just let them know that they should just get ready to give up much more soon, because the damage to this country is not done as far as the Bush and Crooked Crony club is concerned.  The goal, as far as I can tell for these "people" is to cause so much damage that no matter who gets into office next term they will never be able to repair it fast enough.

They keep calling Iraq a "quagmire".  What a load of bull that is, it's not a quagmire, it's a totally screwed pile of shit that YOU as the working American is going to have to pay for for many many years in money, lost job benefits, and very sadly but true, lives of your loved ones as they are carted off to war.

Oh, by the way, just in case it wasn't clear - I am not a Bush and Crooked Crony fan, in any way shape or form.  They need to be removed from office, and those that do not vote have absolutely NOTHING to bitch about as McDonald's shut down, Burger King, GM, Xerox, and so many other companies in the US have since Bush has come into office.  Just ask yourself, are you better off now that Bush is in office, and do you feel safer know that $385 million dollars is being spent right now by your government to build a "detention center" for "future programs".

Bush & Co., making all things ILLEGAL - Legal...

Usually, I do all most of the writing myself in here, hence the mangled English (American), typos and such.  But this time I'm going to post a couple of things that I received in the mail today.  Maybe after reading it you can decide if you want to take some action on what is going on.  I just know that the rubberstamping of illegal activities making them legal and not a crime anytime that Bush does it, is really starting to make me sick.  The more corruption that I see that goes on from the lies that were used to start the war in Iraq, the BILLIONS of dollars that are filling the pockets of Cheney's old company Halliburton, which used to be a bad thing seems to be okay now, the domestic spying (yeah, I know the bastard republicans want to call it "terrorist surveillance").  Of course, I don't believe for a New York Second that Bush is doing ANYTHING that is good for the country, and using the domestic spying program to only track terrorists.  I would believe and it's probably true that he is spying on Americans, any American that disagrees with the Party Line, in line with the same kind of requirements under Germany's Enabling Act that suspended the right to Free Speech.  The Patriot Act, which of course breezed right through again, with little changes, except for one that makes it a crime to wear various Tshirts in some places.  Wow, Free Speech continues to be so important to the bastard Bush & Co.   When I took the oath to join the Navy, it was a very important oath to me, I guess, like the warnings about Katrina, it went in one ear and out the other with Bush & Co. as they have done nothing at all to protect the United States or the Constitution, in fact they have done nothing but damage.  Doubt me if you wish, but fill up your gas tank this week, look at the balance of your savings account, look at your chances of having retirement benefits, look at your paycheck, try to get health care for a reasonable price and ask yourself - do you think that Bush will come to your rescue when an earthquake occurs, another hurricane, or the next terrorist attack?

Well anyway, here's the article and email I received today.. read them, decide for yourself.. how the information makes you feel about your country today.

GOP Blocks Eavesdropping Probe
http://www.truthout.org/docs_2006/030806J.shtml
The Senate Select Committee on Intelligence voted along party lines yesterday to reject a Democratic proposal to investigate the Bush administration's domestic surveillance program and instead approved establishing,
with White House approval, a seven-member panel to oversee the effort.

After reading the full article, if you did, read the following email and decide for yourself.  Now, I do warn you, that taking ANY action that signifies that you do not agree with the Bush & Co. Party Line will probably mark you as a terrorist, as that seems to be the definition that they use today.  "If you're not with us, you're against us."  Frankly, I would rather stand against the Bush & Co. as a real American than some idiot walking in lockstep towards the gates of hell.

Today's news reports announce two disturbing developments in the Republican-controlled Congress:

1. It does not plan to conduct its own investigation into possible violations of law by the executive branch, with regard to the NSA's warrantless eavesdropping on U.S. citizens.

2. It is planning to pass legislation that rubber stamps the Bush administration's actions, after the fact -- likely killing any chance of independent, outside investigation.

Send an emergency fax to your members of Congress NOW!   Tell them that legalizing ongoing executive branch lawbreaking is not what the Founding Fathers meant by checks and balances.

http://www.PFAW.org/go/NoRubberStamp

Activists like you, through People For the American Way, sent over 80,000 petition messages demanding the appointment of a Special Prosecutor to investigate what Congress refuses to investigate.

But if Congress reinstates Nixon-era standards of secrecy by passing legislation legalizing warrantless wiretapping of U.S. citizens, this administration will never be held accountable for laws already broken.

The most horrible thing about this.  The Congress is handing to the White House the keys to the entire process.  It would be like handing someone like Jeffrey Dalmer, John Gacy, or Charles Manson the power to determine whether or not they should be investigated for their crimes and if they don't want to be investigated you hand them some new prize, pat them on the back, and give them a new car to ram into a concrete wall.

Bush & Co. - burying all that they can...

Bush & Co., burying all that they can...

March 6, 2006 - Cindy Sheehan and 3 other American Women Arrested in NY
for trying to deliver a Petition to the US Mission of the United Nations.
http://www.truthout.org/docs_2006/030606R.shtml
After initially telling the activists they could deliver the petitions to a receptionist at the US Mission, where they had an appointment to do so, the New York police cited a change of plan from "higher up" and moved in to prevent the delivery and arrest the activists.

How many other things are going on in this country that seem to relate to that little picture above?

South Dakota Governor Signs Abortion Ban Into Law http://www.truthout.org/docs_2006/030606S.shtml
Gov. Mike Rounds signed legislation Monday banning nearly all abortions in South Dakota, setting up a court fight aimed at challenging the 1973 US Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion.

Nuclear Pact With India Seen as Surrender http://www.truthout.org/docs_2006/030606C.shtml
While US President George W. Bush hailed Thursday's nuclear accord with India as a major breakthrough in forging a "strategic partnership" with the South Asian giant, the pact has been broadly denounced by non-proliferation experts here as a devil's bargain. The agreement marks a significant blow to the prevailing international non-proliferation regime, who have argued that it effectively rewards India for behavior that differs little from what Iran is trying to do today.

Bolton Hints at Strike to Stop Iran http://www.truthout.org/docs_2006/030606E.shtml
The US ambassador to the United Nations, John Bolton, has told British MPs that military action could bring Iran's nuclear program to a halt if all diplomatic efforts fail. The warning came ahead of a meeting today of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) which will forward a report on Iran's nuclear activities to the UN security council.

Murtha: 'Iran and al Qaeda Benefit From US in Iraq' http://www.truthout.org/docs_2006/030606K.shtml
"The only people who want us in Iraq are Iran and al-Qaeda," Murtha said on CBS's "Face the Nation." "And I talked to a top-level commander the other day and he said China wants us there also. Why? Because we're depleting our resources ... our troop resources and our fiscal resources.

Now for a BLOW JOB, Clinton was chased after, the Republican Congress spent $72 MILLION to produce the Republican Party Clinton/Lewinsky Porno Report.

Republicans and Bush have spent nearly $300 BILLION dollars, increased the National Trade Deficit $2 TRILLION dollars since Bush has been office, and has depleted the resources, allowed Americans to DIE for OIL, all to watch Iraq fall into Civil War, something that was WARNED about, but just like Katrina and New Orleans the Blind and Deaf Bush & Co. ambled along like brainless idiots into the slaughter, however, it wasn't them that died it was Americans, Civilians, Women and Children.  It's a good thing that Bush isn't Hitler, he's be building the "detention camps" to place all those awful people into.. oh wait, he IS building detention camps for some "new programs".  Sorry, can't tell you about the "new programs" they are a secret although they are worth about $385 MILLION dollars.  It's okay, you don't need money to pay your rent, feed your children, decent wages, health care.. Bush will take care of anything and maybe allow you to work in his new camp of American Pride and Justice.  Info at: This Link on my Blog

So the next time you think a thought remember that soon, and the way things are going, that when you think something that is not "approved", "considered patriotic", or "against the Bush & Co Party Line and Profuse Puke of Truth" then you might get tossed into jail because, "If you're not with us, you're against us".

Pity, US used to the United States and not just the crooks and liars in powers.

  • Bush's Oil Buddies have kept the oil resources in check, the output from Iraq since the Americans have taken over has dropped nearly 60%.  The price of oil has moved from $19 per barrel in 1999 to over $70 per barrel with an expected increase in the future related to a possible attack in Iran that will drive the price of oil to well over the $100 per barrel point.
F - Complete and Total Failure

We need to pull out.  The Iraq people do not want the United States in their country, their country is in worse shape than ever, and as with any Republican "business" endeavor it's a dismal failure with pitiful results except for the big money managers a the top.

Economy
  • To make things better
  • Decrease spending
  • Decrease the deficit
  • National Debt
    1999 - 9/30/1999 - $5.6 Trillion - IN DEBT
    2005 - 9/30/2005 - $7.9 Trillion - IN DEBT
    source: http://www.publicdebt.treas.gov/opd/opdhisto4.htm
  • Budget Deficit
    1999 - $16 Billion SURPLUS
    2005 - $79 Billion DEFICIT
    a $95 Billion difference
    source: http://www.cbo.gov/showdoc.cfm?index=1209&sequence=7
  • Americans spent $42 billion more than they earned in 2005, cutting the personal saving rate to minus 0.5 percent, the lowest since 1933.
  • 2.2 million Jobs have been lost under Bush
  • The Average job under Bush's Administration pays $9,000 LESS than the same job previously.
  • Mortgage foreclosures are near record highs, along with personal bankruptcies and auto repossessions
F - Complete and Total Failure

Bush & Co. so no signs of accepting any facts that the economy, the burgeoning debt is now going to take decades of work.  But they got theirs!

Rights
  • Bush has stated many times that any wiretaps require a court order
  • The dreaded NSA Domestic Spying "terrorist surveillance" program was announced after a year of the New York Times holding the information at the request of the Bush Administration.
  • There was a program in place before 9/11, one that was used to spy on diplomats and such during the time before voting on Bush's favorite War, and I'm not talking the war on Terrorism, I'm talking about Iraq.
  • I question the attitude of the Bush Administration to just "trust them" as they have been the most secretive and dishonest lot that I've ever seen.
  • Many websites that have content that disagree with Bush & Co.'s policies seem to have disappeared.  Of course, that's not a scientific observation, just something I noticed while cleaning out my links of things that were talking about Bush since 2000.  Some of the sites were no longer there, others were redirected to religious or right-wing type sites.
  • Bush & Co. have spied an all groups and most likely individuals that are vocal about how incredibly awful the Bush Administration is, mainly due to their thin-skinned nature and inability to actually be truthful and do the job that they are supposed to be doing, Serving the American People.  But they are good at serving their corporate buddies at whatever costs it takes no matter who it hurts.
F - Complete and Total Failure

Bush & Co. mirror the Nazis when it comes to treating Americans under the equivalent "Enabling Act" that put Hitler into power and made Germany a dictatorship.

Security
  • October 2000 - After the USS Cole was attacked the US Government indicated that terrorist attacks were increasing.
  • 1998 - a full report of how commercial airlines were being planned as tools in attacking the US was put together by the US Military.
  • August 2001 - Bush was handed a briefing indicating that Osama Bin Laden was planning to attack the United States with planes.
  • Feb 2001 - An FBI agent noticed and reported that a known terrorist person was training to fly planes.
  • Feb 2006 - Bush & Co. wants to appoint a group of "respected Americans" to head security at ports.
  • Now those things are not all connected because Bush & Co. are so incredibly thick skulled and arrogant that they don't believe anyone wouldn't want to follow them lock step into hell.
  • But the overall feeling is that Bush was aware of the possibility of an attack like the one on the World Trade Center.  I took nearly 20 minutes before a scramble of jets was implemented by the Air Force even though the controller actually called the Air Force directly about the hijacked planes.
  • Bush & Co. put together a plan to put an Arab country, UEA to maintain, and control 6 (officially) although the website for P & O the company purchased by UEA actually have 21 ports that they lease space from.
  • Of course, Daddy Bush's Library received $1 million from UEA.  Daddy Bush has financial tied to the UEA company involved in the deal.
  • There is one thing to remember in all of this though, and it should be said.  NOT ALL ARAB people are like Osama Bin Laden (who was the real terrorist despite the Bush & Co. claim that Saddam was the bad guy).  Most Arab people that I have been have been not different than myself, working to make a living, and just living life the best way that they can.  As far as religion, I don't know, I don't get into religious discussions or consider religion the only factor in whether or not I work, play or deal with someone.
  • So the UEA deal may be perfectly fine.  However, the lies by Bush that he did NOT know about this ahead of time when he mentioned "isolationism" in his State of the Union Address and it does seem like he is going to make a HUGE profit at some point for pushing this through as a deal.  Those ties, and profit making by the President and his cabal of crooks needs to be investigate and prosecuted because they are in office to SERVE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE not just fill their pockets.
  • And I don't know about you overall, but I don't feel safe with Bush in office.  I don't trust the fanatics that he seems to follow him.  Most of his followers believe that Bush is not unlike a God or Fuhrer and needs to have complete control.  But Bush isn't God, King, or Fuhrer unless Congress allows him to be.
  • Who are these "respected Americans"? Bush, Cheney, Rove, Rumsfeld, Osama, Saddam, Manson, Brown, and Chertoff?  Come now, the "Americans" that the Republicans trust seems to look like the the World's Most Notorious or Wanted List.
F - Complete and Total Failure

Bush & Co. seems to take security issues "seriously" as long as they are able to overcharge, appoint, and do the job in an unacceptable form that will have to be cleaned up by whatever group has to clean it up, while the Republicans run off with the money looted for a job undone.

FEMA
Homeland Security Department
  • Putting all these Departments under the control of one Department will make it more efficient.
  • Chertoff, the head of Homeland Security Department says, "Well, it took the Department of Defense 50 years to work well together."
  • Well, you would think that having a central place to do things would be a good thing.  But we are looking at the results anytime when remembering the complete, total, and absolute failure of FEMA, Homeland Security Department, and the Bush Administration when it relates to New Orleans during the Katrina Hurricane.
  • Funding has been cut, red tape added, Bushite Stupidity , infighting, and complete incompetence from beginning to end, especially when dealing with jobs they are charged with doing.
  • Money's in the millions have been paid to companies throughout the years for "border security" that have just disappeared and none of the work has been finished and in some cases even started, but the money is gone and so are the companies that got them.
  • Millions of dollars have been wasted on "the big ideas" that are now sitting axle deep in mud because they didn't even think long enough to consider that a trailer big enough to house a family might sink in a muddy field.
F - Complete and Total Failure

Bush & Co. shows no ability to even work well with each other when the work done, job ahead of them is clear cut.

IRAN
  • Iran will have nuclear weapons within minutes!
  • Iran will attack their neighbors and disrupt the Middle East.
  • Iran is out to get the United States.
  • Add anything terrible ever said about Iraq to the list here and you will have the promises and reasons to start a war in Iran.
  • Iran did break the seals on Nuclear Power plants to begin working on their nuclear program.
  • Iran's President/Leader (duly elected in a "democratic method") is not friendly to Israel or the United States.

HOWEVER

  • Bush's destruction of Iraq and disruption of the Middle East with his Illegal and Immoral War has solidified the ties between Iran and Iraq.
  • Bush's Illegal and Immoral War has caused the much unrest between the various religious factions in Iraq.  The bombing of important and valued religious icons, killing squads and such has brought Iraq to the brink of civil war.  Basically, Civil War will be the ONLY way that Bush can pull the troops from Iraq quickly without looking like a complete and total idiot, only to reallocate those same soldiers to fight in Iran.
  • Feb, 26, 2006 - for the first time all the government and religious leaders stood together in Iraq to ask the people to stop the fighting between religious factions and other tribal groups so as not to have a civil war.  The implosion of Iraq into Civil War will not benefit the United States or Iraq.  I don't understand the fighting between the religions myself, as all of them used at some point the very same books when compiling their various religious iconic books, and all refer to the same God by a different name.
  • What is the first strike method for Bush in Iran?  Well, it seems like Bush is ensuring that Nuclear Weapons are being readied for use, and since he has the "power" to use them, and he and his cronies have been sporting a hard on just to show off their might with a big boom.
  • And of course the Republicans are upset with the Nuclear Program in Iran mostly because the Republicans did NOT provide Iran with the Nuclear material, Nuclear know how or Nuclear equipment so they are NOT MAKING A PROFIT.  Unlike North Korea, where the fingerprints of Republicans are all over the nuclear program in that country.
F - Complete and Total Failure

Bush & Co. shows no signs of trying to use any sort of foreign policy, diplomacy, or adult method to work with Iran.

Now, I am not a fan of the Republicans in any of way, shape or form right now.  I do not believe that there has been any honesty from the Republicans throughout the entire party.  I know that if the President was Kerry with the Republicans in charge of the Senate and House of Representatives Kerry would have been impeached and probably tarred and feathered for not finding Osama.  But I also believe that 9/11 probably wouldn't have happened under Kerry as he probably would have actually read and taken more action regarding the warning signs.  Why would I believe that?  A Republican mind is a closed mind, unwilling to actually do the job that they want Americans to do.  Republicans are absolutely unwilling to sacrifice anything, while asking Americans to sacrifice everything to line their and their friend's pockets with money.

Now, I am not going to tell you that the Democrats are all that great, the Democrats in Congress right now seem to be a bunch of gutless wonders, unable to actually make a party line decision and stick to it.  That is going to hurt them at the polls, however I do not think that the Democrats will be able to do much celebrating when it comes to people voting.  Since nearly 50% of this country does NOT VOTE, the Republicans will still have the opportunity to steal elections through their control of the voting machine providers with impunity.  Unless, this country can actually go out and vote, and do it like they mean it, then possibly there will be a full sunrise of hope on the horizon.  Just remember a few things when you consider all this:

  • Are you better off today since Bush is in office?

  • Do you really feel safer?

  • Are you thrilled that the President, Congress, and the Courts are all controlled by one party?

  • Are you thrilled that whatever you do, say, write, read are under the "watchful" eye of the government because ALL AMERICANS are suspect under the eyes of the Bush Administration, unless of course you're one of the "respected Americans" according to the Bush & Co."

Arbeit Macht Frei - Bush Style...

Now, Bush & Co. is at it again, believe or not, Halliburton has been handed a $385 MILLION dollar contract to build a couple of things for the Homeland Security Department.  As indicated in the New York Times article reported that "KBR would build the centers for the Homeland Security Department for an unexpected influx of immigrants, to house people in the event of a natural disaster or for new programs that require additional detention space." [Feb. 4, 2006]

When I first read this article a couple of questions came to mind.

1.  Why are we giving Halliburton $385 Million Dollars to build "detention centers" for an "influx of immigrants" and/or to "house people in an event of a natural disaster"?
2.  What new programs would require facilities that need to house 5,000 people?
3.  Why did the Army document, first drafted in 1997, underwent a "rapid action revision" on Jan. 14, 2005. The revision provides a "template for developing agreements" between the Army and corrections facilities for the use of civilian inmate labor on Army installations.
4.  How many people have looked at the similarities between the Patriot Act and the Ermächtigungsgesetz (Enabling Act)?

Let's look at some of this information that I found to better understand why such things can look like there is something definitely WRONG going on in this country.

1.  Why are we giving Halliburton $385 Million Dollars to build "detention centers" for in "influx of immigrants" and/or to "house people in an event of a natural disaster"?

I'm confused about this one.  The Department of Homeland Security utterly and completely FAILED to protect anyone in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina, and of course Bush is touting his study of the "incident" to look for ways to better ourselves.  Yes, it's good to look at these things, however the idea that we need to build "detention centers" to meet this need, NOT the first reason given in what I was reading for VICTIMS of a natural disaster.

And what is this stuff about an "influx of immigrants"?  What we are going to attack Canada because they won't let Bush cut down all their trees?  Is Bush going to declare Washington State an Axis of Evil member because we won't let the idiot Republicans destroy and bankrupt the State, like the have the United States, financially, physically and spiritually?

And lastly, what "new programs"?  Are these programs KNOWN to anyone but the Holy Eight of Congress and Bush & Co.?  Another "secret and vital program"?  I believe that the "final solution" used by the Nazis under Hitler treated their program in secret also, always looking for a more "humane way" to kill lots of people without causing any emotional stress for the persons doing the killing.

You might have noticed that little picture above and frankly that is NOT in existence today, but will that be the information someday in the future when they talk about the Bush Administration and the Holy War of Oil?  Of course, I'm going to try and be optimistic and assume that there IS a future that history is allowed to be told.  Some might recognize the format of that "detention center" and complex, it's from the Monowitz (the third part of Auschwitz) that the Nazi's used to allow I.G. Farben to utilize the slave labor generously provided and sometimes sold to companies in the name of national interest and security.  I.G. Farben is also the company that Grandpa Bush dealt with while Hitler was in power and of course he got caught because was working with the enemy at the time.  Like the saying goes, "The fruit doesn't fall far from the tree", however, more appropriately in this day in age, "The Shit doesn't fall far from the Bush".  It's not surprising that the number of people needing to be housed by the "detention center" needs to house 5,000, it's only 1/2 the size of Monowitz, which was supposed to house 10,000 "people".

2.  What new programs would require facilities that need to house 5,000 people?

Hmm... the new programs, what could they be?

Free American Speech Terrorist System (FASTS) - A program where the government can round up any person, regardless of age, race, color, creed, religion, nationality, or citizenship if they are deemed unworthy of upholding the strict guidelines of Free Speech as determined by the President of the United States under his inherent powers as a President during the time of war.  I'll translate that for you, just in case you're a Republican, "If they say mean things about King Georgie Bush they must be rounded up and put to work for the safety of America."

Employment Leveling Financial Standards (ELFS) - A program where the government can round up any person, regardless of age, race, color, creed, religion, nationality, or citizenship if they complain about working for $3 a day without any benefits.  Don't laugh, many companies that provide just about every thing you buy today in the stores are built by people that are making sometime LESS than that, so we would be RICH in comparison, and just think, you would be helping out the corporations by cutting you wages to what they would like to pay you.

American Social Program (ASP) - A program where the government can round up any person, regardless of age, race, color, creed, religion, nationality, or citizenship if they deviate in any way from the Social Standards set by the President under his inherent powers of President during a time of war.  Of course, all the social standards will be classified and you won't be able to know which standards you deviated from, but as an American you will do your duty and report to the "detention center" for your Social Standards Training and Employment Program.

American Loyalty Program (ALP) - "Sen. Lindsey Graham suggested to Attorney General Alberto Gonzales a new target for the administration's domestic operations -- Fifth Columnists, supposedly disloyal Americans who sympathize and collaborate with the enemy."  Now, there are some out there that actually do collaborate with the enemy, however, I do not believe that the President, or any of his followers, are truly capable of distinguishing between a real threat and someone saying President Georgie is "A complete and total failure that is entirely unqualified for the office that he now holds."

Now, these programs do NOT exist, at least that I'm aware of since the recent decision of King Bush to RE-CLASSIFY all government documents recently under a new program that has classified information that has been public knowledge and unclassified for decades.  We're lucky the Constitution and the Bill of Rights were not re-classified so we didn't know what they were anymore.  Give the Bush & Co. time they will figure out a way to hide that too.

3.  Why did the Army document, first drafted in 1997, underwent a "rapid action revision" on Jan. 14, 2005. The revision provides a "template for developing agreements" between the Army and corrections facilities for the use of civilian inmate labor on Army installations.

This one is amazing really.  Bush has lost more jobs in the United States than all the Presidents combined in the history of America.  Through bankruptcy of major corporations in all areas of production.  So in order to reverse the trend maybe the implementation of slave labor camps, selling slaves, and basically reproducing the success of the Chinese and the Nazis in their employment programs Bush can finally put to rest the major loss of jobs in the United States.  Or maybe, he can pull all the "Prisoners of War" captured during the "Drug War" and use them as body replacements in the military itself.

The "official" unemployment rate is: 4.7%
However, the true unemployment rate is actually 8.4%
You can doubt me if you wish, but the information is provided by the United State Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics, and you can view the numbers yourself at: http://www.bls.gov/news.release/empsit.t12.htm

4.  How many people have looked at the similarities between the Patriot Act and the Ermächtigungsgesetz (Enabling Act)?

Below you will see the similarities, and consider the things you have heard about so far about the Bush & Co. Presidential Actions and behavior when it comes to Domestic Spying (Bush calls it "terrorist surveillance") without warrants or any legal grounds.

Patriot Act - President Bush

Enabling Act  - Adolf Hitler

October 24, 2001March 23, 1933
Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism (USA PATRIOT ACT) Act of 2001Law for Removing the Distress of the People and the Reich
September 11, 2001 - Attack on the World Trade Center by Osama Bin Laden (although Bush has not captured and rarely mentions this name anymore) on September 11, 2001 - And now he's selling American Ports to Arab Countries.February 27, 1933, Nazis burned the Reichstag building, and a seat of the German government, causing frenzy and outrage. They successfully blamed the fire on the Communists, and claimed it marked the beginning of a widespread terrorism and unrest threatening the safety of the German "Homeland."
The government can conduct "sneak and peek" searches in which agents enter your home or business and search your belongings without informing you until long after.

Government agents can force libraries and bookstores to hand over the titles of books that you1ve purchased or borrowed and can demand the identity of anyone who has purchased or borrowed certain books. The government can also prosecute libraries and bookstores for informing you that the search occurred or even for informing you that an inquiry was made. According to ACLU staff attorney Jameel Jaffer, such "searches could extend to doctors offices, banks and other institutions which, like libraries, were previously off-limits under the law." Chris Finan, President of the American Booksellers group adds: "The refusal of the Justice Department to tell Congress how many times it has used its powers is even more unsettling because it naturally leads to the suspicion that it is using them a lot."

Federal agents are authorized to use hidden devices to trace the telephone calls or emails of people who are not even suspected of a crime. The FBI is also permitted to use its Magic Lantern technology to monitor everything you do on your computer--recording not just the websites you visit but EVERY SINGLE KEYSTROKE as well.

Government agents are permitted to arrest and detain individuals "suspected" of terrorist activities and to hold them INDEFINITELY, WITHOUT CHARGE, and WITHOUT an ATTORNEY. (That could be you or me for sending or receiving this Email, by the way)

Federal agents are permitted to conduct full investigations of American citizens and permanent legal residents simply because they have participated in activities protected by the First Amendment, such as writing a letter to the editor or attending a peaceful rally.

Law enforcement agents are permitted to listen in on discussions between prisoners and their attorneys, thus denying them their Constitutional right to confidential legal counsel.

The CIA is granted authority to spy on American citizens, a power that has previously been denied to this international espionage organization.

After the fire on February 28, 1933, president Hindenburg and Hitler invoked Article 48 of the Weimar Constitution, which permitted the suspension of civil liberties during national emergencies.

Some examples of this Decree of the Reich President for the Protection of the People and State abrogated (repealed, annulled, cancelled, abolished by authority) the following constitutional protections:

Freedom of the press,

free expression of opinion,

individual property rights,

right of assembly and association,

right to privacy of postal and electronic communications,

states´ rights of self-government,

and protection against unlawful searches and seizures.

Political Statement Used to Support the Patriot Act

Political Statement Used to Support the Enabling Act

"To those who scare peace-loving people with phantoms of lost liberty, my message is this: Your tactics only aid terrorists, for they erode our national unity and diminish our resolve.", Bush's right hand man, John Ashcroft

"The people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country.", Hitler's right hand man, Hermann Goering

So, when some Republican buddy says, "Oh, that can't happen here".  Look again, it's all there for you to see for yourself.  I don't have a reason to lie to you, it's not going to make me any money, I'm just like most people in the US today, trying to survive under an idiotic, power hungry, anti-American, anti-Freedom Burning Bush.

Of course, I get my hopes up when I hear that the Congress is going to ask some questions, have a hearing, not going to let this happen.  Yet each time when they have a hearing there are favored or special people allowed to "testify" without taking oath so there is NO PENALTY for lying to Congress.  The Oil Executives, not sworn in, so they could tell us that Oil is FREE for everyone, they just collect money so the can better man kind and that is not punishable by law.  Bush's Attorney, Gonzales, not sworn in when he testified, again, he can lie all he wants and no problem for him.  The funny thing is that he is SUPPOSED to be the Attorney General for the UNITED STATES, but he kept referring to himself as Bush's Attorney.  And frankly, the last I looked, and much to the chagrin of the Idiot Bush, Bush is NOT the UNITED STATES and GOD WILLING someday HE WILL NO LONGER BE PRESIDENT!  On that day, I will rejoice and thank the lord, if I survive the insanity of his reign.

Current mood:  grateful
 AW, Poor Little Bushie...

Poor Little Bushie...

Aw, Poor Little Bushie.

I feel so sorry for him, he took time out of his busy schedule of spying on Americans without warrants, lying to the American People at every opportunity, cutting the funds to programs that benefit anyone the United States Government is supposed to be providing services for, and of course waging war on all those "evil doers" except of course his own evil Axis within his circle of friends and buddies to attend the funeral of Coretta Scott King, the wife of Martin Luther King.

Before I continue, I need to say, I didn't even know Martin Luther King had a wife.  Sorry, but it's basically true.  I knew about Martin Luther King and respected the work that he did and the things he stood for, but beyond that I hadn't known much until Coretta King died.  It's sad really, that someone that continued to be a voice, but wasn't as public to everyone in this country as Martin Luther King, maybe civil rights would have been more important in this country if the administration of this country wasn't so afraid of civil rights when Martin Luther King was alive.

Of course I learn more about Coretta King as a review my emails from truthout.org and read some of the very revealing comments from various people about the funeral.  I'm sorry, but I didn't watch the funeral proceedings, but I don't attend funerals anymore, gave that up when friends between the ages of 20 and 35 all began dying of AIDS at the beginning of the AIDS pandemic.  I am not one though that spends time remembering people on the day that they die, just like my mother, who's birthday is today, February 9, 1944.  She died of breast cancer, certainly a more disastrous disease which isn't a part of what the Bush Administration cares much about.

And I am learning more about the Republicans and how slighted they feel that for once little Georgie Bush had to actually listen to things being said about his administration and government policies that he didn't like.  I mean really, comments like "King's Funeral was Appalling" that were proudly displayed in the Arizona Republic.  Including some of the comments of the Bush Talking Heads making much the same.  All basically saying the same thing, "How dare you tell the truth to Georgie, he's not old enough to know these things, you might hurt his precious feelings, he might actually have a conscious ya know, shame, shame".  And of course that's NOT an exact quote, why should it be?

That is one thing that is wrong with the President of the United States today, and one reason he looks like such a complete idiot.  It's doubtful that he's ever seen pictures from the aftermath of Katrina, the floating dead bodies.  Oh sure, he flew over in a helicopter and probably asked when lunch is and didn't really look at anything.  He's probably never seen pictures of the dead women, children and men, that were civilians that were killed by the bombs that he seems all too happy to send on their "righteous path" for his "crusade of democracy".  Bush probably hasn't seen any of the pictures or really been aware of the people dying in the United States because his war is more important, the oil of the middle east is more important than the people in his own country.  He is probably not aware that all of his jabber about how "safer" we are, while his administration still is not ready for any type of disaster that may be coming because he keeps placing unqualified morons (much like himself) in jobs that require some semblance of work ethic.  Bush probably never asks questions about the unemployment rate and how it doesn't count all those people who are no longer receiving unemployment insurance, have lost their homes, have had to spend every dime of their savings in order to survive in his jobless economic glorification program.

So, little Georgie had to listen to a few things he didn't like during a funeral.  Big Deal, the thing about a funeral, and always has been, is that it is about the person that is dead, and those surviving that knew, cared, and loved them.  It's not about any President that waited until the last possible moment to agree to go to the funeral, and I'm sure Coretta's dying breath didn't include anything about President Bush.  And I truly doubt that the people who spoke at the funeral took into account that little Georgie was going to be there, they were speaking about Coretta Scott King, NOT standing up there to make some sort of statement that the likes of Coretta Scott King, a believer in civil rights (from what I have read about her so far), to make it sound like she and little Georgie were best of friends and believed in the same things.

Anyone that has a brain (republicans please have who ever is explaining this blog to you help you understand the first part) would know that Georgie or his Reich of Faithful, that Bush cares nothing about civil rights.  The only thing that Little Georgie cares about is himself, there is no one else that he cares about.  So I'm not going to shed a tear for Little Bushie, he's basically not worth the time to me.

If it were left to me Bush would be required to spend at least 4 hours a week reviewing pictures of the people who have died from his actions, listening to criticism from his detractors, and he should be required to watch, read and see some of the information from the protests.  But, I know, Little Bushie might get upset, but I don't care, maybe, between his conversations and dictates to God, maybe he will be able to see what is policies are really doing to this country, because I am not at all convinced the idiot has the first clue about how bad off this country is with all of his "leadership".

One last note:  There is much talk about the legality of the Domestic Spying Policy ("terrorist surveillance" as renamed because it sounds better to the Republicans) and that program is in jeopardy of being changed and adjusted to meet the requirements of the law.  And it should meet the requirements of the law so all Americans can feel like they are still Americans and not just being clumped into a group the Bush Administration calls, "terrorists".  These are dangerous times, but the one thing to remember, Bush has said over and over again that we are safer because of him, so if a terrorist attack occurs again in the United States, there will be the pointing of fingers towards the Domestic Spying Policy and it being talked about as the reason it happened.  And the fact will be if there is another attack, the Bush Administration FAILED to protect the country, not because someone wants them to do something legally, but because of incompetence that made the like of Katrina possible.  The Bush Administration doesn't work or play well with others, and they don't even work or play well with each other.  I do not agree that Bush has the right to do whatever he wants to do because he thinks that his daddy made him King.  He is not the King, we gave that up when we created the Declaration of Independence.  And Bush can, as far as I'm concerned monitor communications as is necessary, however, in order for me to feel comfortable with that, I should be able to request the data that has been collected on myself and be able to find out if information has been collected.  Once that is known to me, easily, without charge to me, and assuming there is no guilt or association to the "terrorist(s)" that they are seeking the data collected should be permanently deleted.  Of course, I'm afraid that right now the definition of terrorist includes: Anyone that disagrees with the Bush Administration and his Buddies.  Regardless of what some of the Bushies think, I am an American, I am a Veteran and I can only hope, that some day the disastrous policies of this Administration regarding fiscal responsibility, human rights, civil rights, economic strength, employment concerns, and such will someday actually be something other than giving to the corporate a few more dollars from the increasing number of people living with less and less.  The bottom line for ME is MY bottom line, I could care less how much money some millionaire has or how Bush feels he's being mistreated by his peasants.

Some of the delusions of Bushies...

Some of the delusions of Bushies...

I found these little "gems" while searching for some site out there that had little talking points for the Bushies. Now the Bushies don't really support their own talking points, usually sent out in memo form and not really out there for everyone, but this little set was kind of interesting, especially since it about the State of the Union Address that Bush just gave.

"Bush’s record on the war on terror has proven more successful than Bill Clinton’s. The “Axis of Evil” Bush condemned in 2002 is no longer; Iraq has been removed from the trio, and Bush’s aggressive approach has been making inroads toward Iran and North Korea. And even if terrorism becomes worse in the future, it will actually bolster support for Bush’s tough on terrorism approach."

Well, they need to use Clinton for everything it seems, but I do NOT see any time during Clinton's time in office that 4 planes were hijacked at the same time, 3 of which found their targets, the fourth, according to stories was taken down by the passengers interfering with the plans, with a few reports of military planes shooting it down. The thing that surprised me, while watching "Flight 93" was the Air Force, WAITING for orders to shoot down a plane that was obviously a part of a larger plan. I'm no Republican, but a plane that was one of 4 hijacked at the same time, on the same day, probably would have been ordered shot down by me, civilians or not. And it's not a secret today that the earliest report of using planes against the United States such as the commercial airlines was KNOWN by the government as early as 1998. And frankly, Bush's hiding all day long because he was afraid they were gonna get him, showed not a hero, but a coward, who has continued to do everything he can along the way not to take responsibility for any of the wrongdoings of his Administration.

Ah, but the "Axis of Evil". Funny, how he didn't reiterate that little thing.

Of course, Iraq isn't in the "Axis of Evil", unless you look at the Evil that Bush has allowed Iraq to continue by destroying nearly all the friendly relations we had with nearly every other country on the planet, the financial ruin (except for the Oil Companies that have been posting record profits ever since Bush got into office), the destruction of the core values of the United States (except for the hateful Christian Type that seem to flourish anytime the fanatics are let loose), and the destruction of the checks and balances in the Constitution because Bush had to be a "war president" in order to be as powerful as he is currently.

Iran - Well, Bush is targeting them right now, most likely having nuclear weapons set for use, and he does have the military authority to use those weapons and has been itching to use them ever since the Republicans "won" the majority in the Senate. Of course, the major reason that Iran should NOT be using Uranium doesn't really relate to nuclear weapons, it relates to the fact that MOST of the uranium, methods, equipment and such have NOT been provided by Republican owned and directed companies, so there is NO PROFIT for the Republicans. You see why this is important in just a second.. really..

North Korea - Yup, still there, still working on weapons, but the little secret there is that during Clinton's Administration a treaty about non-proliferation and a few laws were passed disallowing the selling of nuclear technology and uranium to other countries was passed. The Republican controlled Congress at the time though pushed through a bill that allowed some nuclear things to be sold, Clinton VETOED IT, and the Congress voted to IGNORE the VETO. So the Republicans WANTED to SELL NUCEAR technology and uranium, PERIOD. And who did they sell it to? North Korea. You can check this little tid-bit out for yourself, but it's there.

So, if Bush starts an all out war in Iran, the true "Axis of Evil", Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld will have done their duty.

So far, Bankrupt the Country. Don't believe me? It took 24 Presidents nearly 100 years to rack up 1 (that's one by the way) Trillion Dollars in National Debt, and Bush has racked up 5 times that amount in 5 years, we are now sitting at nearly 8 (yes, eight) Trillion Dollars in National Debt, which is debt held by foreign countries based upon the promise of the United States repaying that debt, and China, remember them from the Cold War, has a very large chunk of that.

Oil prices will zoom through the roof worldwide! Now that alone will cause a global economic problem and regardless of how you paint it, that will be bad, as it will be noticed by all countries, many of them not so much our friends anymore, will start wanting some of that debt that they are holding BACK so they can pay for the oil prices that Bush, through WAR has fully supported raising to any level that the oil companies see fit.

"Bush even fended off the most recent invective against the war on terror, directed at his terrorist surveillance program. He pointed out that other presidents have used it in the past and that it has been approved by the federal courts."

Yeah, he did "fend off the invective", but not for long, as the Senators during the hearings the last couple of days brought up the fact that ALL the Presidents that used WARRENTLESS SURVEILLANCE and ALL the Court Decisions happened BEFORE the FISA Act was put into place. Justice GonBalless indicated that he did not know of ONE President since the FISA Act was put into place that has used WARRENTLESS SURVEILLANCE.

Of course the hearings have been ONLY about the NSA Program that Bush has been using, not CIFA (Department of Defense Counterintelligence Field Activity (DoD CIFA), which has been used to spy on people that have done such terrible things such as: Protest the War on Iraq, Protest the "Don't Ask Don't Tell" policy of the military, and even Grandmothers against war. But don't worry, it's not really Big Brother watching, it's just Bush and Cheney, although I would be horrified by the face of Dick Cheney's Constipated Face peeking in my window.

The hearings were very enlightening though because some of the Republicans that spent most of the early times singing praises to Bush when they had time to ask questions were asking some very pointed and very valid questions about the WARRENTLESS SURVEILLANCE. One little tidbit that came out also was that the NSA Program is not considered a "covert military" program, so it does not meet the legal requirements of the National Security Act when it comes to limiting the number of congressional members that must be informed, briefed and made aware of the program. So in that respect alone, Bush has broken the law, unless, according to the Bushies, "President Bush does not have to pay attention to any law of the United States, he can do whatever he wants." Not quite an exact quote, but it is exactly how the Bushies are acting. I wonder if Bush got a blow job if he would have such a solid following.

Bush slyly included a line defending the oft-criticized connection between Iraq and terrorism, asserting that the aim of terrorists is to “seize power in Iraq, and use it as a safe haven to launch attacks against America and the world.”

Yeah, he sure included it, however, most of the people that were voted into the government in Iraq are friendly towards Iran, and Iraq and Iran have already begun talks together, which has not been the case before Bush's War on Iraq. So, they really don't need to SEIZE power, Bush has let them VOTE themselves into power, thus creating an even more volitile middle east.

Of course, Bush doesn't really have much of a clue about his "War on Terrorism", and it's HIS WAR, it's not a US War, in fact, at this time, although you hear it ALL THE TIME, that this is "war time", there has been NO WAR DECLARED by the United States, so the Article II powers that Bush is claiming don't really exist are not entirely accurate. But I don't want to confuse any of the Republicans with facts. They just need a war or some sort, legal or illegal, moral or immoral, to funnel monies from the Government into their pockets. And it IS about MONEY, it's the only true focus of Republicans and unfortunately many of the Democrats.

"The significance of Bush’s State of the Union Speech was not the new dull-sounding initiatives he proposed: the Advanced Energy Initiative, to increase clean energy research funding at the Department of Energy, or the American Competitiveness Initiative, to increase funding in areas such as nanotechnology, supercomputing, and alternative energy sources, make permanent the research and development tax credit, and improve math and science education in high schools."

Yeah, his little initiatives, let's see. Budget cuts to all the education areas of the budget, so improvement of education seems to be out. Oh, sure, there's another tax credit/cut coming, but it makes perfect sense to every Republican that receives some sort of check from the government, that they shouldn't be taxed, so the money can come from the other countries holding the national debt. And some final stuff, to those singing praises of the "Energy President".

The President's suggestion about making 75% of Middle Eastern oil imports go away "was purely an example," insisted an embarrassed Energy Secretary Samuel Bodman.

And anyway, it turned out that none of it really mattered since, as Paul Krugman pointed out: "[T]he National Renewable Energy Laboratory is about to lay off staff because of budget cuts. 'A veteran researcher,' reports The New York Times, 'said the staff had been told that the cuts would be concentrated among researchers in wind and biomass, which includes ethanol.'

Last week (before the State of the Union Address), the President reassured Exxon Mobil Corporation, which had just announced record profits of $10.71 billion for the fourth quarter of 2005, that Americans should not expect any price breaks from a genuinely entitled winner while waiting for their future ethanol fix. "I think that basically the price is determined by the marketplace," he told the Associated Press, "and that's the way it should be."

That was in red because the statements that Bush made in the State of the Union address were ONLY there for ONE reason, to distance Bush and all of his buddies up for re-election this year, from the rising gas prices that are soon to be coming our way.  And if he fires the first shot in Iran, which I have no doubt that Bush will fire the first shot, gas prices are going to skyrocket to insane levels.  But that's okay, because the Oil Companies are making a profit because "Americans should not expect any price breaks from a genuinely entitled winner while waiting for their future ethanol fix."

So the State of the Union speech was yet another other cute caboodle of lies to spew at the masses.

And if you are really curious about the budget of the United States, most of it is public information, except those little black holes they toss millions into each year, you can find it here: http://www.gpoaccess.gov/usbudget/  I only know this because I spent a couple of hours looking at the numbers after downloading the spreadsheets, importing them into a database and looking at the differences.  Not very exciting unless you're some demented accountant.

As I tell my friends all the time, "I would rather be a bleeding heart liberal than a Republican ANY DAY".

The Lies The Spies The Bushies..

The Senate Hearings...

This morning I "enjoyed" the show Meet the Press, in which they talked about the Bush Administration and the business of spying on Americans.  Then, after suffering through 60% of the news being about the SeaHawks being in the Super Bowl today on the local news, I was flicking around the stations, patiently waiting for the overpriced cable company to get the ONLY station (local) that will show the game so I can at least watch the commercials I happened upon the C-SPAN coverage of the Senate Hearing about the "Threats to America".

Now they had all the heads of the Intelligence community for the United States sitting in front of the Senate Intelligence Committee answering questions.

What I noticed during the hearing was:

The Republicans:  Spent part if not all their time talking about a few things.

  • How proud they were of the people sitting there in front of them.

  • How they applauded the work the people sitting in front for the job they were doing.

  • How "some people" want to politicize the issue of the wiretapping.

  • How awful it is that someone actually broke the news (New York Times held the story for ONE YEAR) about this wire tapping and "terrorist surveillance".

  • How crippled this country is now because the wire tapping and "terrorist surveillance" has been leaked.

The Democrats:

  • Can you give me an estimate of the number of Americans that have been caught by this surveillance program?  The answer was basically, "no, I don't know".

  • Can you give me an idea how many of the people turned out to be actually to Al-Queda from this surveillance program?  The answer was basically, "no, I don't know."

  • Can you give me an estimate of the numbers of people who have been saved by this surveillance program? (Dick Cheney indicated that the program had saved thousands of people in a speech somewhere, but the people running the programs, all sitting in the hearing, could not muster an answer.)

  • Is this surveillance program a covert military action as defined by the National Security Act?  (This law, allows the White House to reduce the number of people in Congress that need to be told about actions of the military to 8 (eight) by law if the action(s) are covert military actions.)  The answer to the question was: "NO"  So the surveillance program is NOT a covert military action.

  • Who makes the decision about who is to be told about these things and how they are going to be classified?  The answer:  The President and the Vice President.

Those are just some of the questions and comments made during this hearing.  I didn't tape it, and couldn't find a full transcript of the hearing or there would be more here.  Some of the things were referred to a CLOSED Session of the hearing, which is the APPROPRIATE thing to do.  Don't get me wrong here, there are things that SHOULD BE SECRET in the government.  That is just FACT and RIGHT.  I used to be in the military, and there were things that classified for good reason, not that I remember any specifics and wouldn't breach any of that stuff because I take that stuff seriously.  I took it seriously when I raised my hand and swore an oath to protect this country and the constitution of the United States when I joined the military.  I took seriously the acceptance of a security clearance, basically the only thing I ever told anyone when they asked me what I did in the military, "I typed".  Back then they didn't have personal computers, email and such, just typewriters and the like.

That said, the comment was made by the CIA Director that it was so awful that the existence of the "terrorist surveillance" program was leaked and that he wanted to find out WHO LEAKED IT.  Yeah, the program is secret, by the determination of President Bush and Vice President Bush.  There is one thing that is important to note though that most LEAKS during this administration have been FROM THE ADMINISTRATION themselves for the purpose of furthering their cause in some way.  The Bush Administration has turned to classifying nearly everything that they do under the guise that they are "protecting America", yet the truth is they are protecting their political careers, furthering the powers of the Presidency to that of someone that is ABOVE THE LAW, although the Republicans screamed, "RULE OF LAW" all the time they were fighting the votes from being counted in Florida in 2000 and anytime that they want to get their way by being the bully.

So was it wrong for the story to be leaked, OVER A YEAR AGO, held in confidence by the New York Times at the request of President Bush for that year?  Strange really that President Bush KNEW that the information was out there, made an agreement with the New York Times about not releasing it and now that it is out in the open, he's angry because he is doing the same kind of illegal wire tapping and "surveillance" that Nixon did and was just about to be indicted for by a special prosecutor before he resigned.  Is Bush following in the foot steps of one of his "heroes"?

I really don't have all the answers to this, but I know that after watching the body language of the people sitting in the hearing this morning, listening to them trying to use "printed answers", usually interrupted by the Democratic Senators and reminded that they would like an answer to their question and not some talking point given to them by the White House.

And it wasn't very heavily reported recently that someone that is working with "Homeland IN-Security" quit recently whose job was to increase the communication lines between the intelligence community and the law enforcement so they can quickly act on tracking down possible terrorist QUIT two weeks ago, and Senator Feinstein wanted to know if that program was going to be completed and be moving in the same direction.  A direction, from the question and her not letting it just be lightly answered is important to the security of the country.  Why are the people, who are privy to this information quitting their jobs and distancing themselves from Bush?  Do they see something coming to the Bush Administration that we don't, the illegality of the programs, the over-stepping of the powers that are and are not granted to the President and his followers?

I just know that, me personally, would like to see Bush RESIGN and take all of his evil friends with them.  The damage that they have done to this country will take decades to fix.  This country is now teetering on a fall towards becoming a third world country because of the overwhelming debt that countries like China are holding onto.

And the damage that will come should Bush decide to start a war on Iran will threaten the world economy because of the oil involved.  Bush mentioned in his little speech about cutting down the oil consumption, but a day after he said that his Energy person said, "Well, he didn't really mean it".  Which is true, but it does give Bush one thing, a distancing from the rising gas prices, and they may not have gone up YET, they will, and he does not want that $3, $4, $5 gallon of gas to affect your decision of who to vote for in the coming election.

And yes, regardless of the what they say, VOTE VOTE VOTE.  If enough people vote against Bush, and only 40% of the entire voting population are actually voting, it will be EXTREMELY difficult to play with the votes if the majority of people actually VOTE.  And if you believe as I do, that Bush and his Republican Crooks should NOT be in office, then VOTE, and don't be silent.  You will always be able to tell when you are losing an argument with a Republican, as they run out of talking points, as they run out of justifications, they resort to name calling, claiming you're a "terrorist", or "non-patriotic", but this country was founded by dissenters not by followers.  We didn't want a KING when this country was founded, and we don't want one now!

As I tell my friends all the time, "I would rather be a bleeding heart liberal than a Republican ANY DAY".

 The BUSH cut-n-paste speesch..

He could have just said...

Refer to all my other babbling speesches about all this stuff I don't care about.

The man is an idiot.

He wants Democracy, yet has been working his hardest to destroy that very idea in his own country by spying on his own country men for any reason that he might disagree with, be it war, his disastrous financial policies, or criticism of the complete and total failure of his programs in all areas that he has been involved in any way.  The only programs that he is excelling in right now are stuffing the pockets of his buddies through cronyism, corruption, and illegal dealings with anyone and everyone that will agree with him long enough to give one of his buddies money.

Did he do anything unexpected?

Yes, he actually remembered Bin Laden, which is something that surprised me.

He did go out of his way to mention, and kiss ass to the republibigots to keep them hating gay marriage.

He mentioned the "oil addicted" America, which is his way of distancing himself from the oil companies that will be raping this country soon with high prices.  And distance himself from the incredible damage to the global economy if he decides to attack Iran.  The amount of oil that comes out of Iran, should that be shut off will cause a major fall in the global economy, and of course if Bush starts yet another war, for whatever reason, we have to remember that this useless pile of crap (George W Bush) is going to leave the office President, return to his multi-million dollar home and not really do anything else, which is pretty much how he has lived his life, a life without any real responsibility or consequences in his life.

And he went out of his way to try and justify his illegal spying program, TWO of which were in place.  One BEFORE 9/11 that they shut down because they were sure it was illegal, and the one AFTER 9/11 which all of his cronies swear give him the right to spy on any one who the administration, idiotic republican, or other type of pea-brained sort of supporter believes is a terrorist.

And unfortunately, Bush and his buddies still define a terrorist as:

"Anyone that disagrees with the Bush Administration, Republican Party Line, or the Religibigots of the US"

Nope, he didn't do anything to make me respect him and he sure didn't go out of his way to actually admit to all the mistakes of his Presidency and Reign as the Republican Village Idiot.

As I tell my friends all the time, "I would rather be a bleeding heart liberal than a Republican ANY DAY".

Deviant Evildoers have Rights - Time to VOTE!...

Well, after decades of a glimmer of hope?

 Friday, January 27, 2006 - Olympia, WA

For the first time in Washington State, the Washington State Legislature passed into law protections against discrimination for "sexual orientation" to the current law which already provides protection based on race, creed, color, national origin, sex, marital status or the presence of any sensory, mental or physical handicap.

Now don't think that this is a DONE deal.  The religious fanatics, hate groups, anti-gay groups, and probably some others will be out there with their clipboards asking for signatures that will be designed only to remove those TWO WORDS, "sexual orientation", from the law.  Governor Gregoire will sign the law on Tuesday, January 31, 2006 which will set the law into effect beginning 90 days after that on May 1, 2006 unless the religious fanatics gather enough signatures to put the issue on the ballot in November 2006.

What does that really mean?  Well, all those States that supposedly contain "intelligent" people that voted Bush into office, most of which were swing States had gay issues relating to rights of some sort on the ballot.  This kind of thing mobilizes the the crazy fanatic types to spend there money and actually move away from watching their 700 Club and VOTE.  Because it is very true, that although very fleeting in nature, HATE is a great motivator, and the BushCo group know how to use it as well as Hitler did to gas millions of innocents in the camps.

So, celebrate, but be aware of a few things on this for sure.  The incidents of anti-gay violence will increase during this year.  The religious fanatics will be running amok to force everyone to follow the "will of God".

Just remember that although this is a victory, after 30 years of fighting for rights relating to sexual orientation in Washington State, it is also the first chance that the Republican Party (translated loosely to: Evil-Doing God-Abusing War-Mongering Crooks and Liars) to turn Washington State RED instead of the BLUE that indicates people who think for themselves.

It's a pity really, as the news announcer indicated about the bill in the Legislature, "both sides invoked God" to bolster their arguments.  And frankly, as I understand the workings of God that there are no mistakes.  So as each moment passes from Present to Past, for that one moment, no matter how terrible or wonderful it is, the world is exactly as it should be.  The definition of perfection in God's world because no one can go back and change the past, not even the Lawd Bush.

OH sure they can lie about the past.  They can give a prosecutor a new job so he will stop prosecuting all those "god fearing reasonable people" (translated loosely to:  God Using Unreasonable Crooks) in Congress that have been caught in the Abramoff scandal.  And of course there was more, a prosecutor that was supposed to follow up on one portion of the Abramoff case was given a job by Bush and the investigation just disappeared.  Not a good sign, as you can see, even the law can be bought if you have enough money.

And don't let the rhetoric related to Bush's Domestic Spying, which began shortly after he was elected, NOT just after 9-11.  And he, just like Nixon, without a doubt, has been using it to identify, track, and locate anyone that the BushCo finds dangerous (translated loosely to:  Any Who Disagrees with BushCo and the Lawd Bush Crowd).  I'm probably on some list because I have NEVER had a good word to say about Bush, and probably NEVER will, unless of course I hear the words, "My Fellow Americans, today I must announce the resignation of myself, Dick Cheney, Rummy, ToothGap, and AG Gongrabit".  Then I might say something nice, but don't count on it.

 Closed the Tshirt Shop...

Well, good riddance to 2005..

Well, I guess due to the joyful and intelligent design of some policy that I spent the last year not really worrying about forced me to close down my little Tshirt Shop.  It was pretty cool, had lots of things in that were definitely NOT Bush Friendly, and of course I will NEVER be Bush Friendly because I think he, his crooked friends and all those that think like him are bastards, but that's just my opinion.

Not much else to say about it really.  Someday maybe I'll take the hundreds of graphics and work that I did and open a new one, but it is going to take me at least 6 months to recover from all that economic recovery that fucking idiot Bush has been enjoying so I can have a credit card or something I can use for online purchases.

Oh well, such is the life under the Bastard Bush and his Crooked Cronies.

BUSH IS LISTENING
if you disagree with him or his cronies you are a "terrorist" and against him.

But I don't care, I will never be a Bush Supporter
And I will rejoice the day that he leaves the White House
As that will be the best possible gift that God will ever bestow on America.

A wish for the New Year...

http://cafepress.com/bobswebstore

Well, good riddance to 2005..

Let's see, I'm not going to review the year at all, well maybe a little bit, let's see...

Naw, enough of those sites out there telling everyone either that Bush has been their savior (those sites lie unless it was one of those sites of the rich oil companies that posted such high profits during the entire Bush Administration thus far or the religious NUT sites that believe that Bush is a "man of God").  Course, I really don't believe a "man of God" should be such a heartless, uncaring, non-compassionate murderous liar, but I guess everyone these days makes up their own definitions of God these days to justify their trampling of those unfortunates that were in any place that a natural disaster has taken place or the disaster of Bush's method of diplomacy, Kill and Kill Again if you disagree.

Yeah, I'm not a Bush fan, never have been, never will be, and I will enjoy it when that little Time Cover comes out, it will be a frameable piece of art really to see the likes of Bush fall.

I noticed that his approval ratings dropped down below that of Nixon for a while, and actually below any President at any time in history, but have been soaring up, but that doesn't really reflect his true job rating because it has been linked to one thing that the News people have taken out of the picture for his ratings, the PRICE OF GASOLINE at the pump.

Bush's approval rating was at it's lowest when the Gas Prices soared above $3 a gallon, and after the Oil Big Wigs were called to Congress to lie about the price fixing that is done in their camp, all of who were NOT sworn in so they can't be charged with perjury to Congress.  His approval ratings have seemed to jump when the prices have been falling, in some places lower than $2 a gallon, and the Bush Crooks know that this is something that is important, but the Oil Greedy will start raising prices again, and posting those huge profits again.  They won't support Bush very much longer if he's on his way out, they won't have the power where they need it to steal the working classes blind at the gas pump or to heat their homes.  It's not about production, as one of the Oil Talking Heads would like everyone believe.  As my family has worked in the oil industry for years and the oil companies always have backup parts and pieces for their equipment, it might seem expensive to buy two of a part when putting together a piece of equipment, but when that equipment does NOT work for a period of time they can lose more money by allowing that equipment to stay broken and not producing those dollars.

So, if you have been surviving under the Bush Bastard and his Crooked Buddies, keep it up, and don't let up.  Just because some of his buddies are heading to court to lie about yet another thing that they have done, and hopefully will start prison terms soon, don't let the supporters of the Bush Almighty start to win, it's not good for the thousands upon thousands that have died for Bush's Crusade for Power and Money.  It's not good for any poor person anywhere in the world who might need help from the government or any agency, non-profit or group that might help.  And it's certainly not good for the ideals that founded this country to ensure that America is not being run by a dictator with UNCHECKED powers to do what he wants, when he wants, and however he wants.

You have to remember that Congress is a Check of the Balance of Power, and although the Bush Administration tried to place the power to spy on Americans on American Soil and to use Military Force against Americans on American Soil in the Patriot Act, the Congress said, "NO".  Bush says, "Yes, I can, I'm the President".  Hopefully, the truth will come out, and Bush will be properly punished for using his grab for uncheck powers improperly.  Just remember that -

BUSH IS LISTENING
if you disagree with him or his cronies you are a "terrorist" and against him.

But I don't care, I will never be a Bush Supporter
And I will rejoice the day that he leaves the White House
As that will be the best possible gift that God will ever bestow on America.
