July 18th marks The Killdares’ first time to headline the main Music Hall at House of Blues in Dallas, Texas. We want to pack the house and show everyone just how AMAZING the KD fans really are!!! And, we want to reward YOU for your support.

It is with great pleasure that we bring to you today the long-awaited new album Secrets of the Day. The release, which was produced by Ronan Chris Murphy, is now available on digital outlets iTunes, eMusic, Amazon digital, ZUNE, Rhapsody, Napster and many more (plus several independent outlets throughout Dallas/Ft. Worth). You can also purchase it directly from our official store.

Secrets of the Day marks a huge leap forward for the band and is loaded with new experimental textures, arrangements and structures...while retaining the sweeping melodies and soaring hooks found at the heart of The Killdares' signature sound. Murphy describes the sound as, "...what it might sound like if the Tragically Hip and Radiohead got together and started a Celtic rock band with a bagpiper and one of the best fiddlers in the U.S."

We are extremely happy with the record, and we know you will dig it too.

We are so completely stoked to have been asked by the House of Blues Dallas to hold our Album Release Party at their beautiful, world-famous venue!

On Saturday JULY 26th, we will bring to you an amazing live show complete with an extended set featuring many of the songs from our new album Secrets of the Day. Remember...this is an ALL AGES show...so bring the whole family!

We have several awesome bands in the running to play with us that night, so we'll keep you posted when we nail that down.

As the New Year kicks off to a great start, The Killdares are proud to announce that the band's new album will be produced by world-class producer Ronan Chris Murphy. Currently living in Marina del Ray, CA...Ronan has worked with the likes of King Crimson (several albums), Steve Morse (Dixie Dreggs, Deep Purple), Terry Bozzio (Zappa, Missing Persons), Steve Stevens (Billy Idol), Tony Levin (Peter Gabriel, John Lennon, Pink Floyd), Martin Sexton...as well as various projects featuring members of Tool, Ministry, Weezer Dishwalla, and Yes. This will be the 2nd time that the band has teamed up with Ronan, who also holds production credits on The Killdares' 4th release Any Given Element.

The band will also be bringing on the skills of engineer Chris Bell, who has earned multiple-platinum albums and Grammy® Award nominations through his work with Erykah Badu and Kirk Franklin. This is the 2nd time The Killdares and have joined forces with Chris, who is also known for his work with many other prominent rock acts such as U2, Buddy Miles, Polyphonic Spree and most recently The Eagles.

The band is honored and excited to have such a great team. And beginning January 23rd, The Killdares will enter Bass Propulsion Labs (Dallas, TX) to complete final tracking for their 5th full length album...set for release in Spring/Summer this year!

Available for the past few months at live shows only, a new line of Killdares T-shirts and beanies is now available for online purchase at the band's official merchandise store. Go there today and buy from a new group of designer T's, plus a whole lot more! There's a new Men's shirt featuring a silhouette of the band in action, a very classy Women's shirt with Celtic heart and KD song lyrics displayed...a black long sleeve addition to the "Elements" themed T-shirt line, and for the first time...a very cool knitted beanie cap with band logo front and center.

Hello Everyone!

First of all, we want to thank you all for your amazing support of the band this year! You have really made it a banner year so far.

Something you can do to show your continued support of The Killdares is go and nominate us for the 2007 Dallas Observer Music Awards.

Hey Everyone!

Join us THIS SATURDAY May 5th at 4:30pm, as we help headline the main stage at Ft. Worth's 35th annual MAYFEST! The event lasts all weekend, and we're going to be rocking the same stage with many great Texas-based bands including the indie-hip Black Tie Dynasty, the 90s hit-makers Deep Blue Something, country-rockers 1100 Springs, and the always entertaining Brave Combo. Start your Cinco de Mayo celebration early!

Then make your way to Addison, TX on Sunday May 13th at 3:30pm, as we play the main stage at the huge TASTE ADDISON Festival. This national food festival is awesome...and we are proud to be one of only 2 local bands selected to perform for the event. It starts on Friday night with some great bands like Los Lonely Boys and Blues Traveler, followed by Daughtry (of American Idol fame) and Lifehouse on Saturday, and then Slaid Cleaves and The Killdares on Sunday. Come on out and support the KDs as we perform along side these other great national bands!
