The Barracuda Sound website, www.barracudasound.com, will be down for a few days while we make it more awesome than you could ever imagine. In the meantime there will be a slightly less awesome temporary site up for your viewing pleasure.

Here's what else is going on:

Laserhead has a new album out, "Ride Your Static." You can order it at www.noidearecords.com along with all the other Barracuda Sound releases. They're also working on a new tour this summer so if you want to see them in your hometown please hit them up at www.myspace.com/laserhead .

Towers of Hanoi have been in and out of the studio for the last 4 months working on their follow up album "Paranoia for the New Year", and you can hear a sample track on their myspace page if you're interested. They too are working on a tour this summer, so email me if you want us to play your city @ barracudasound@gmail.com .

Oh yeah…I forgot to mention Ninja Gun (the only one who will probably read this update is Coody) have finally given in to my constant nagging about them getting in the studio, and should have a full length out by sometime in the year 3012. I can't wait. I'm going to climb into my time pod and be frozen over until that album is finally finished. I think they are working on a tour as well. They love to tour J and tour loves them. Seriously they have been working their asses off trying to get this new album together. I've heard bits and pieces of it and have also seen the new songs live and it all rocks. I think this is gonna be one hell of an album. Their song writing has matured and their music abilities have elevated since "Smooth Transitions" I can't wait to hear it, and neither can you.

After we release the Ninja Gun album this summer we will also be embarking on a new journey with our friends and warehouse mates Averkiou. They will be climbing aboard for a debut album. If you want to check them out go to www.myspace.com/averkiou .

Ok thanks for reading this. See ya at the next update!

We have a new member to this beautiful rocknoll spaceship and they are called LASERHEAD. They are from Gainesville Fl and they are also a good bunch of dudes that love Dinosaur Jr and Superchunk. Checkout their page Laserhead and listen to the demo and expect a full release late summer!

It may seem like its dull around here, but goddamn shits sharp as a ginsu knife in this piece! Sir Prize Fighter is done recording and they have a beautiful mastered virgin waiting to be slapped on a cd and pushed out the door. If we can get the art dude to call us back we can finish before the year is up and you can buy one off SPF when they hit your town on tour! And if that wasn't enough rock for you, Barracuda Sound is pleased to announce that The Grabass Charlestons will have a sweet new 7" out by the new year to take on their UK tour in March/April of 2006.

PS

Towers of Hanoi still exists, but its gonna be a while before we can prove it...
