Hey!

Here are the definite last shows we'll do in 2009. For the rest of the year we'll take some time off and put our private lives back online and write on the new record, which should be out somewhen next year. In case everything works out well (which we know never does) a new split 7" record will be available early 2010, but we don't want to reveal a lot of infos on that, because this all is still subject to change.

Hey!

It seems like this year's not gonna end so fast as we had thought. We've got two more gigs coming up for you guys in December, alongside our mates Strike Anywhere and Dead To Me.

18.12. CZ Prague, 007 w/ Strike Anywhere, Dead To Me
20.12. DE Berlin, Magnet w/ Strike Anywhere, Dead To Me

This seems to be our first and only CZ show this year, am i right? We're sorry, we try to go there more often next year, once our new record is out.

I'm also thrilled to announce that we'll play Berlin once more this year. We love this city and we're stoked to play the Magnet for our first time.

Please come out early and on time to these shows because we're going to open up, which means that we'll be on first and most likely just play for 30 minutes.

see you one last time!

Hey!

Actually we wanted to lock ourselves up in the studio and work on our new record, but then the A Wilhelm Scream dudes came along and asked us to join them on their upcoming Euro tour. We shrugged and said "well, why not ... wait, a whole tour? cool!" and sealed the deal. We're looking forward to this tour already and hope that we'll meet many of you on the road again :))

There are some days off that we'll do on our own, please get in touch if you've got some ideas/offers.

Current mood:  hyper

Being a local phenomenon in this case, we here experience another example of politics and profit-longing officials undermining people’s possibilities of cultural contribution.

After giving an interview to an eastern austrian newspaper, our longtime friend and partner Conny Chaos found himself cut-off from his five year project Laut:Los, a local TV magazine that helped tons of bands and artists establish a basis in their area. Stating that he considers the Austrian Socialist Party not being eligible after the pressure and corruption it had imposed on other party’s members during the last election, TV-station-owner Hans Walsberger decided to “not tolerate the program“ on his station any longer.

After 130 broadcasts, including sets for bands like Astpai, Bloodsucking Zombies or Herbstrock as well as one of Rentokill’s first TV appearances ever, not to forget the incredible Johnny’s School Of Modern Dancing, local politics have once again shut down a free channel of alternative culture. This has happened so many times before, and like always people will keep fighting for their space between profit-oriented mainstream mass-media.

Hello Punks & Drunks!

We're old and lame, that's why we refused to use twitter for an incredibly long time. Since the "internet" isn't going away any time soon again (some major music companies still seem to believe so) we'll try to keep you up to date on a more regular basis by using twitter from now on as well. Captain Jack took over the wheel.

we try to figure it out right as we speak!

Hey!

Our split 7" with Anti-Flag is now available at the GREEN HELL webstore. This item is strictly limited to 300 copies, so better be quick with ordering. It will definitely sell out quickly. All proceeds from this 7" will be donated to the international Emmaus Project.

Click to read what the German Anti-Flag Website has to say about this, obviously in German language. ;)

Hey!

A day to remember. Our newfound hungarian friend Sasvari decided to edit and upload a fan-video for our song "the political aspect of unpolitical thinking".

we're touched and hope that our lyrics/songs inspire people all over the globe.

Linernotes:
when the world ends, white dust will fill the air like the curtain at the end of a play. a rain of desperate bodies will fall from the windows of burning buildings, drumming the concrete below. men with splinters in their eyes will stumble through streets choked with debris; women clutching babies will pick through the rubble and tear out their hair. our generation will go to its grave shouting its last words into a cell phone.
- harbinger, "5th communiqué"

Lyrics:
there's a checkbox left in the corner of a life kept in narrow confines. there's a marker waiting for choices, while indifference and joy get combined. there's a million minds tied-up by routine, waiting for something to sample attraction. that's the selfish conformist potentially in action. like the self-centered torment inside, there's a carefully hidden connection, like a heartbeat inside my mobile. i keep feeding the global transactions and my righteousness straight underlined. is there anyone to face the facts? we're waiting for positive changes to happen. reaction remote controlled by unseen faction. fake. abstraction. stronghold of our civilization. do we disclaim existence of network relations? do we disclaim we're under control? there's a checkbox left on the backside, that's for breaking the narrow confines. as there's someone to profit from complacency there's no reason to get back in line. is there anyone, at anytime, to claim any form of comprehension? anyway, the destiny's defined. reaction remote controlled by unseen faction. fake. abstraction. stronghold of society. we lie to ourselves to prove our imperfection. lies we held up high for satisfaction's sake. there's blooddrops left as i refuel. there's death around your neck pretending to shine. there's tears inside my chocolate bar but i keep chewing. and wear sweatshop shoes so self-satisfied, so how deny i'm guilty?

all the best, hugs, thanks!

Hey!

This is a review of the Flatliners / Rentokill show in Hamburg, Hafenklang, August 16th.

(bc)

Dear followers of lousy punk rock!

Just back from touring with lovely fellows ANTILLECTUAL, we're already packing bags again and are looking forward to our last tour of 2009. Yeah, this will be our last tour for this year. We'll have a few festival appearances later this year but no real touring coming up after August anymore. That's because we'll be all busy with rehearsing and recording our new full length record, which hopefully hit streets mid 2010. What a crazy date, 2010! Time flies by pretty fast.

Check us out!

Hey!

We're stoked to announce that we have teamed up with political Punkers Anti-Flag and SideOneDummy Records to release a split 7" to benefit the international Emmaus Project. Emmaus is an international solidarty movement unlike any other. It's made up of the thousands of men and women whose work is motivated by the simple sentences: 'serve first those who suffer most' and 'fight against the causes of poverty'. Check out details here: www.emmaus-international.org

(all artwork by Sebastian Pohl, www.skore183.com)

This 7" is limited to 300 copies and will only be available at all European Anti-Flag shows during the summer, as long as supplies last. There will be no repress of this item, ever, so please take your chance to do something good. All proceeds from this benefit 7" will be donated. You can not order this record, nor can you get this from us directly, you can ONLY get this at any Anti-Flag summer shows. Look up www.myspace.com/antiflag and check out their tourdates. Please ask their merchandise guy/girl if there're any copies left when you decide to go and see them.

We're supporting Anti-Flag at the Poolbar Festival in Feldkirch (Austria) on August 15th, this will also be our "release show" for this 7". Go there if you want to see us perform live and buy this records directly at the show. Our friends ASTPAI play there as well, so this show is just meant to be outstanding!
