I thought i would tell you of my weekend ,my guest/s and concert and walks -
           This Friday Red Robin popped up from Holland for bird watching and a Whoops N Daisy concert .Jenny arrived armed to the teeth with CHEESE and her camara.Its an odd feeling meeting a close My Space friend,someone you know and like but never seen.
An hours drive from Billund Airport home to the rainbow and ice was melted .Marie was keeping the house warm whilst i collected Jenny and made a deliciouse meal. Thanks Marie .little walking talking and a beer with the neighbours and it was goodnight .

Saturday morning 06am(shudder) up for bird watching at Banglesø and to catch a glimse of geese and swans maybe even a Sea Eagle -

We didnt see the Sea Eagle but we got our eye on a Peregrine and that is a rare site.
  We then drove to Hindemadsø:Now when i was a lad of 40 this sea was ploughed fields and i used to use it as a short cut from the town to the collective i lived in .Thats another story :-))There was a time in the 60s when the government  whent mad and drained huge lakes to produce corn we didnt need.15 years ago they repented and gave the lakes back to nature.

nature has repared the damage and now it is a paradise for birds We saw a Nile Goose-! in a flock of 2000 Greylags,odd how some stand out from the crowd and still have peace.Could have stayed there all day but we had to go home and prepare for the gig

                         The Gig

Now this was a gig i was REALLY looking forward to.it was to be in Over Jerstal right smack in the area i had been living in for 22 years.I now live some 40klm from all those i knew and saw often .It was great to see so many old friends and was one of the cosiest evenings we have had.

Well I got to #1in the Danish folk charts and Grey Power ruled for 24 hours -The girl i knocked of #1 sneaked past me when i slept and pushed me kicking and sobbing back down to#2 .Where i now sit and gather my strengh to battle up again,she is amazing so i think i will need your help .

so i cant leave without a photo of Scraggy can I .He has a hard life here and i think he is regretting moving in.here he is dreaming on the open road freedom hunger and cold .You Stay here Scraggy I had 10 years traveling and know what its like :-))

Last my daily visitor Gustav an Icelandic sheep dog.On Iceland they have no wolves but Eagles a plenty .It is his job to guard the flock so spends most of his time searching the skys .He chases any flying object and that includes airplanes and heavon help us Swallows .He comes 3klm every day to say hello .My neighbour says its to empty the cat bowl,but we know diffant dont we.

  a friend wrote and asked me if i had noticed she had put my Reverbnation player on her site and i hadntSo i had to write and say sorry and in truth i am.Me being me took it to heart and felt sad so i wrote a long apolagy -I sent the letter and realized she is not the only person i have upset SOOOOO i hope she wont mind me putting the letter in a blogg as an apolagy and explaination to you all -It reads

i didnt notice sorry i seem to be upsetting everybody and it is making me sad I try the best i can to keep in touch and visit every friend i have but its hopeless and to tell you the truth its getting me down .I have stopped accepting friends requests at least those from the big sites who are just collecting stamps -I have deleted lots of bands who never contact me or who never have .I have asked for suggestions as to how i can keep in touch with all those friends i care for and thought the best idea was a blogg .I wrote my first last week and caught up a little by writting about the friends who have visited me .
     Now i am wondering what to do about my top friends ???most of them i never hear from any more -now and again i pull one off and set a new in but often the result is a scream of protest from the deleted .This is often because they have been visiting and not messaging because they realized i was busy and so didnt want to disturb me with a message or comment knowing i always write back.
     I always look at the statuses but reply mostely to the sad blue faces thinking the smiling faces are happy and dont need cheering up .I send as many small hello hugs there as i can but get so many that i often miss some friends there -
     I listen to most of the new songs friends put up and that takes also a lot of time but i can message whilst listening -bloggs and photos take a lot of time because then i cant message and then come back to a backlog of messages and comments -
      I also have a huge family 6 kids some of them not biologic but still i love them and their 15 children and their childrens children Gawwwd i have a dynasty .I use face book for this but that also is getting out of hand because i use it also to keep in contact with the children i helped/help .
      Now i have Reverbnation which a friend started for me and seems to be also going into orbet and you tube photo bucket skyppe and G mail -
      Whats a little old wrinkly man to do I also need time to write and play shows and promote my music,entertain guests promote struggeling new sites and musicians and teach young folk guitar and sing,I do my best but hope you can find it in you to forgive me not seeing you had put my reverb player on your site .See what happens i upset you and now i am all behind again and upsetting others who care for me

Scraggy the cat .His arrival coincided with Jude Cowans  www.myspace.com/judecowan.I smelt him before i saw him and was on the way to check the drains when a flea hotel with hardely any hair coverd in sores black skinned bag of bones popped his head round the corner.Jude being Jude whent and got him food,I thought a cat basket and a trip to the vets needle would have been more humane.Jude stayed four days and fed him every day and i ignored him wishing he would move on.It was midsummer and Jude and i had some  amazing canoe trips in the night,Scraggy guarded the house and his garden table.

Jude stayed four days and we wrote and recorded Neptunes Daughter on the sands at the bottem of my garden,its on my player complete with waves.

Jude left and Scraggy remained day and night on his table watching me through the window .He is now a prince of a cat plump and hairy and never more than two metres from me .

Last week Martina and I where on holiday on Langeland and i will be posting some photos ,

    Next on the scene was Phil Graham and his delightfull wife Janet.

Here we are visiting one of my neighbours on his birthday (Helge in the middle).We did a lot of visiting the neighbours returning often the worse for wear .The highlight of Phils visit was a frokost danish style -A frokost consists of rye bread shnapps beer and wine pickled herring shnapps wine and beer ,roast beef and pork with S B and WINE .A cheese that was so old and rotten it ended up in the dustbin shooting stars more W S and beer and a head in the morning I would rather forget .We had a great time playing and visiting places i had lived and buriel mounds .Come again Phil

There have been many visitors here and at the end of the month a visitor from Holland comes to photograph geese and our Whoops N Daisy concert in Over Jerstal but that is for the next Blogg

  Now i guess its time for boasting and a progress report .As some of you know Richard of the Rawmarsh Mashers started a site for me on Reverbnationwww.reverbnation.com/edwardmikalski .At long last i have been working on it and the results are dramatic.I am now number two in the Danish folk charts and 403 in the world charts .I want to thank you all for putting my reverb player on your sites and giving me so many plays .I whent to peep at the Danish all genres list (local)and there i sit number two surrounded by the young and beautifull thrash heavy metal pop punk and funk brigade -Great Grandaddy Teddy rides on -It seems being whitherd and bald is not a handicap
