Information for Booking:  Contact Tonya Williams by myspace message, or thru our website at www.prospectorhall.com.  Or you can call 706-525-9308.  Prefer email message please. When inquiring about booking a show, please include the following:
1) Contact name and number
2) How long of a set do you have (in minutes)
3) Where you are from
4) What type of genre
5) Any other bands that want to book the show with you
Tables are available for merchandise sales.  Sales are 100% of the bands.
We offer ticket presales thru PayPal on our website at www.prospectorhall.com.  All tickets are $5 unless otherwise noted.  We can offer printed tickets for presale as well.
If you are a touring band, please contact a local band or two and ask them about booking a show with you and then contact me for further information.
Load in time is between 6 and 7pm.  Doors open at 7:30 and the show starts at 8pm.
Sets are from 30-60 mins depending on how long of a set you can play and how many bands are booked.
We have an in house PA that consists of 3 mics w/stands, two 15' speakers, and an 8-channel mixing board.  We Do NOT have a monitor.  We prefer that only vocals go thru the PA.  For other arrangements, contact me.  We Do NOT have a sound tech.
A spotlight is available for any band to use, provided you bring someone to run it.
There are pics available on the photo albums and our on website of the stage and venue.
We are a relatively new venue.  We ONLY have Saturday shows, except for a rare occasion.
We normally pay gas $$ and feed the band members from the kitchen.  We also provide any water needed thru out the night.
We only comp the band members the door fee.  It is only $5, so please keep this is mind when bringing your roadies or girlfriends...
We RARELY pay a guarantee; depends on what you are asking for.
Gas $$ depends on several things:
1) How many band members
2) How many vehicles you drove to the venue
3) How far you drove to the venue
4) How many people show up for the show

To clear up a few issues that has been brought up recently....
1)If you bring your girlfriend or band roadie and they can't pay the $5 door fee, we will deduct it from the amount we pay you at the end of the night
2)If we pay you $50 (just an example) at the end of the night, please don't forget to include how much we fed you or the waters we provided....this could be as much as $30-40 per band...IE which means you make approx. $80

We would like you to try to bring as many people as possible to a show.  The more people we can get here, the more fun and more profitable it will be for everyone.  Use my selling point.  "Where else can you go see 4 bands for ONLY $5"!
We do NOT sell alcohol.  This is an all ages venue.  However, IF you are 21 and above, you may bring a cooler, leave it in your vehicle, and use a colored cup while inside or outside the venue.  If one is needed, see me at the venue.  Do NOT leave your cans or bottles in the parking lot; there is a trash can provided for your convenience.
Depending on the genre of band, we have had crowd surfing and mosh pits.  Guidelines are as follows:
1) Do not damage the equipment.  You will be held financially responsible.
2) Do not damage the furniture. See 1.
3) Do not run into, or knock down any photographer that might be taking pictures...It could be ME!!
4) Mosh at your own risk. We are not responsible for any injuries obtained.
We do not limit use of language at our venue.  If you are a band, that may be offended by another bands lyrics, keep this in mind.
For any other questions, or information not provided here, please contact me.

Prospector Hall has recently been asked to become Georgia Metal Alliance's Clubhouse for Georgia.  Here is a little information from GMA's Misson Statment.

MISSION STATEMENT:

The Georgia Metal Alliance International (H.M.C.) is a World-wide, unifying force in metal. An alliance between all metal life stylers and, or musicians and other H.M.C.'s (Heavy Metal Clubs) on a global scale. Our sole purpose is to bring unity and growth to the Extreme Metal Underground subculture. H.M.C.'s are the last true bastion of metal camaraderie. We still carry the metal standard into battle as we did "when the dam began to burst".  We are metal musicians/life stylers who have all grown up living the metal brotherhood and have all paid our dues and earned the right to wear our colors. Not by selling out or betraying our brothers, not by mutiny, slandering or lying and stealing what someone else has created and put together,  but by having dignity, loyalty, sincerity and honor in all we do!

What does this mean for our fans or bands of Prospector Hall?  As far as Prospector Hall's fans and bands are concerned, the only changes will be that the GMA will be supporting and promoting our shows.  Which is beneficial to Prospector Hall and to GMA.

If you want further information, please read the blogs I will be posting here about GMA and what they stand for.

If you have any other questions or concerns, please let me know, and I'll be happy to answer your questions or concerns.

July 6, 2009 - I personally love prospector hall because of the atmosphere. It is an awesome venue with a great sound and an awesome crew backing it up. It has been a pleasure playing at this venue just based on the fact that at prospector, its all about the music. Please work off your asses to keep this amazing venue alive.

SWING THE LEAD

July 5, 2009 -
Truth had a great time. We're gonna be different and throw some new things in about Prospector's Hall that maybe some other bands haven't mentioned yet. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted and shown to the proper areas. This may be a small thing to most bands...but have u ever went to a venue...and wondered around like an idiot before realizing what u finally needed to do? Prospector's barely allowed us to step foot out of our cars before introducing themselves and showing us to the proper facilities. Another thing is before the show, I had only spoken to Tonya, yet the whole staff seemed to know who we were. This created a tremendous atmosphere right off the bat.

I would recommend Prospector's to anyone wanting to have a good time at a venue....in NO way are you over charged. I dont mind playing for free....This venue needs to remain open to allow bands to continue to grow, and to give the venue a chance to get its name out there even further.

Prospector's.....your great for the music scene and your great for us. Thank you for all that you do!

July 6, 2008 ~ awesome venue. management treats you like you're family. and so does the crowd. the most fun we've ever had playing a show and hanging out at a show. other venues should try to step it up a notch. bands should be begging to play at prospector hall.

June 2, 2008 ~ Prospector Hall exceeded all of our expectations. As a venue the Hall was well laid out, professional, and an effective environment in which to share our musical vision with the audience. The staff cannot be thanked enough. Providing all the care anyone could ever hope for, an unlimited amount of friendliness, and excellent support of the band, the staff was the best we've ever had the joy of working with. This is one venue to not overlook! - John Cathey/Ars Nova
May 8, 2008 ~ We all really enjoyed playing the Prospector Hall mainly because of the laid back atomosphere of the place.... It is the perfect venue to just kick back in a chair and listen... We are looking forward to the next time we can play!!!!!!!! ~ Garlington~

May 5, 2008 ~ "We had a great time playing at Prospector Hall. You really took care of us the entire time and we're hoping to return in the near future."

April 29, 2008 ~ The Prospector Hall truly is a hidden treasure. Great staff that treat bands right and the locals there are very open to new and different music. We had a blast playing the venue and recommend it to any bands looking for a good place to play or person looking for some good tunes.

April 26, 2008 ~ Prospector Hall was an amazing experience for us. Being our first show everyone who helps out there was more than willing to help us out with anything we needed. Its great to have a venue in Dahlonega where there really isn't anything else to do. It's an awesome place to play and we loved it!

March 25, 2008 ~ Playing Prospector Hall was a great experience. We were really surprised at how easy it was to get set up and how organized they were for being a new venue. The sound was good and the mood was comfortable and it really made for a relaxed time before the show. Everyone was very nice and professional and we would love to return very soon. It was a great experience!

March 23, 2008 ~ Prospector Hall: Small, quaint, but that's the beauty. The audience can get up close and personal with the bands. I'm pretty sure the people in the crowd can feel the sweat fall of the performers. But that's the best type of concert to see. The people are excellent, and very courteous. Excellent nachos, I must say :) Feels like playin' at home, but with a taste of the lime light. We had a great time, and this band would love to play there again. Keep up the excellent work!

March 25, 2008 ~ "We love having such an active and friendly venue so close to where we live. The people there are great, and it's an awesome place to have our friends and family watch us play. Plus, the nachos are just plain amazing."
Way With Words

"The Prospector Hall was a great place to play, especially for a new venue. The people who run it were great to us and the bands we played with were great as well. In time this place is going to grow into an awesome venue, and we will continue playing there as long as we are allowed in the door! The place has a great vibe to it and the ability to get in close with the crowd is great as well. We met some awesome people and got to spread our music a little bit more. Plus, the food is good. We'll definately be back in the future!"

FYI The July 4th show was an idea of a couple local bands to allow up to make a little $$ so we continue staying open. We will ONLY be feeding the bands for this show. After several weeks of non-attendance from the locals, the owner is seriously considering cutting back show to every two weeks or even all together. PLEASE if you want this venue to stay "alive", you have to support it. There aren't many place in Dahlonega, or the local area, where you can go see 3-4 live bands for $5.
