Hey!

Just a reminder. We're gonna be playing our wonderful hometown of Portland, Oregon this coming Saturday November 28th at the Crystal Ballroom. Our friends in Ramona Falls (Brent from Menomena's side project) and Panther (Awesome) will be playing as well. Doors are at 7...it's All Ages...and we're on at 10. You can go to http://www.mcmenamins.com/index.php?loc=2&id=81&eventid=76959 for more info and to buy tickets.

This will be our last show for a long while. We're gonna go hide away for a bunch of months of intense introspection, gratuitous knob twiddling, wacked out sleep deprivation, wondrous self-belief, nagging self-doubt, ecstatic highs and shattering lows otherwise known as “The Recording Process.” We hope to come away from it all unscathed with a brand new record for YOU!

Have a good Thanksgiving!
See you at the show!

Hey there,

You can catch us tonight Saturday November 7th on Oregon Public Broadcasting's LIVEWIRE (91.5 in Portland).

Check out http://www.livewireradio.org/ to see what it's all about and find the broadcasting frequency for your area if you're outside PDX.

Show starts at 7pm...should be a cool one.  David Javerbaum, writer for the "The Daily Show" and Peter Ames Carlin, author of the new Paul McCartney Biography will be on the show too.  Nice!

Exciting news about our upcoming hometown-love show at the Crystal Ballroom on November 28th...Panther have been added as openers.  Can't wait!!

Love,

Brandon

Oh, hi!

My apologies on the super short notice...we've been deep in studio-world getting stuff ready to record and write our new record. What was going to originally be a quick one day trip out to Moscow, ID to play with our friend Josh Ritter somehow turned into a reprise of our “NW Tour” a few months back! We'll be visiting the Red Room again in Kennewick,WA with Josh Ritter before heading to Moscow, ID to support him at his big homecoming show outdoors in the park at the “Rendezvous in Moscow.” Then on Sunday we head up to Spokane to headline the BLVD again. Cool! The details are below.

And if you're in Portland, don't fret...I can say for sure that we'll be playing our beautiful hometown this Fall!!!! I can't wait!!! I'll drop the details when we've got 'em.

Much Love,
Brandon

First of all, let me say I'm sorry. Second of all, let me say I'm sorry. I've received some confused and upset e-mails asking what happened to the show in Pittsburgh just the other night. Let me explain...

I got REALLY sick the night of Minneapolis show...high fever, chills, crazy hallucinatory nights, days spent curled up in the back of the van in a Nyquil daze...the whole nine yards. I thought I would recover for the Pittsburgh show only to realize the night before that it wasn't gonna happen so we had to pull the plug. We don't take canceling shows lightly and have only cancelled 4 shows in the over 10 year history of our band. (Strangely, two of them have been on this tour.)

On top of that the promoter didn't have things together (i.e. not having any opening bands booked and letting people wait in line for the already canceled show when he should have posted the info.) A bad situation all around.

Needless to say, we won't be working with him again and we probably won't be playing Diesel Club Lounge either. We'll try to make up the show in Pittsburgh on the next US tour we do and any suggestions as to venues would be much appreciated.

Please accept my apologies for the confusion and having to cancel the show.

Much Love,
Brandon

Hi-

If you're in Sacramento, I really apologize for bad the news but we've had to cancel the show.  Unfortunately, Benjamin was in a car accident last week...he's OK, but his back isn't doing too well.  He's been seeing a chiropractor almost daily and it still hurts him to even drum at all.  To be safe we've canceled the show to give him a little more time to recover before we begin the 6 weeks of upcoming shows.  We're hoping to make up the show in Sacramento but aren't sure exactly what the plan is right now.  I'll keep you posted if/when we have a new date penciled in.  Thanks for understanding.

Much love,

Brandon

Hi there!

It's that time again. Time to spend mind numbing hours staring out over the vast Eisenhower Interstate System...time to eat at IHOP, Denny's and Arby's on such a regular basis that you begin to think it's “normal”...time to become intimately reacquainted with the luxury and comfort of Motel 6 and Days Inn...time to forsake sleep, safety, and sanity for the love of music.  Yes, it's time again for TOUR!

We'll be hitting the road for 3 weeks opening for Keane all across the US and then 3 weeks of headlining our own dates. It's all listed below. Hope to see you out there soon!
