SORRY STATE RECORDS REVIEW

Killer debut 7' from this Dutch punk band who are pretty much nailing the early west coast punk sound. This stuff is VERY melodic a la the Adolescents or even some of the Posh Boy bands like the Simpletones or Rik L Rik. Very cool debut and I can't wait to hear more from this band! Gummopunx / Demonomania / Angry Youth Records.

NO WAY RECORDS REVIEW

Oh my lord, What a good record we have here. I think this may be our pick for one of the best of the year. From the Netherlands, these dudes take influence from ADOLESCENTS, AGENT ORANGE, TSOL, and WIPERS and roll em all into this 4 song ep. It has it's own sound of course, but this is what we can get from it. It's so good you'll want to listen to it over and over and over. Seriously if you pick up any record, pick this one up. GUMMO PUNX RECORDS- IMPORT.

MAXIMUM ROCK AND ROLL REVIEW (MRR october 2008)

ALTERNATIVE TENTACLES REVIEW

Hailing from the Netherlands, Sick Mormons have a groovin' Adolescents or Articles Of Faith early-80's So-cal sound going on this. Melodic vocals mixed with driving, mid-paced guitar and a bassist that knows his noodling combines into a four-track killer debut!

WORLD'S APPRECIATED KITSCH

Jasper from Eye Of Judgement / ex - A Step Apart / owner of Demonomania Records gave me a bunch of copies of this 7' during the Eye Of Judgement show in Greece a couple of weeks ago. I hadn't even heard of that band that time...
...but damn! This 7' is fucking punk rock dear guys & gals! 80s Cali punk rock the way it should be!
The 4 songs that are included here bring me in mind bands like Adolescents, TSOL, Social Distortion, old Bad Religion and the likes.

Melodic and catchy raw punk rock, no frills, no thrills, just music to dance to!
Just listen to the 'Taekwando' song at their myspace site and you'll get the to the point!
I love Sick Mormons! Congratulations to Jasper and the other labels involved that put out such a great record in the best format that exists, 7' vinyl.
I think that there's still 1-2 copies in stock for the ones that are interested to get in their
hands the Sick Mormons record.
P.S. I forgot to tell ya that they are from The Netherlands and got together last year...

REVIEW VERA
Fijn gitaargeluid, vreselijk catchy refrein, simpele schijt-aan-de-wereld-teksten, heel erg prettig.
