Current mood:  working
I just wanted to post this to let everyone know that we are still alive and kicking like kung fu, well more like karate, I'm partial to the Karate Kid personally. We are working on getting our set down absolutely perfect and we have a new tune that we think you guys will enjoy thoroughly, not to mention some other things that are coming up in the future, we will touch on all that later too, don't worry. You know the business side of things is just as important as the musical part, when it comes to playing in a band and we are learning just that.  We have a new lineup that we are pretty stoked about and we cant wait to melt your faces off very soon at a local venue near you. We love all our fans and the haters too, go see District Nine, more than once, its that good and Im picky about movies, let me tell ya. Lastly,  we appreciate all the support and love!

Okay, so, we never updated our "tour diary" after our shows in Spokane. Basically we played a few legit shows in Utah and Colorado on the way home and had a lot of fun. Our first tour was a huge success for us! We had a lot of fun, met a lot of really great people, were able to play our music to a lot of people and share the stage with a lot of great bands. Needless to say, we are very eager to hit up the country again!

After being home from the road for a few days we started playing some shows regionally with a band called "our darkest hour". They are a really great bunch of dudes and they are going to be playing music for a long time, so look out for them.

As for what's going on right now... We are heading to Illinois tomorrow for Cornerstone! We are really excited to play a bunch of sets while we're there, but more than anything we are excited to camp out and hang out for a week! After that we are playing DFEST in Tulsa at the end of July. That will be our first show in Tulsa in over 3 months so hopefully we see all our tulsa friends there. Our show will be at an all ages venue (Joe Mommas Pizza) so hopefully we see everyone there.

After that, our plans are to play as much as possible throughout the end of the year and hopefully be able to hit all the states we weren't able to hit on our first tour.

As always, our music is on itunes! If you haven't had the chance to check that out, click here and see if you hear anything you like : )

Good talk...see you out there.

so we finally made it to portland after driving all night, it seemed like it took forever. we didn't get to play till about midnight so we were all pretty tired and cut the set short a couple of songs so we could get out of there. we got paid with some cocain energy drinks which i'm pretty sure are illegal in america now so that was nice. jeremy's been drinking them like nobody's business and kacy took one drink and had a migrain all day from it so no more cocain for her, lol.

we finished our little 2 day stint in the valley or what we found out was cvx or something like that (central valley hardcore), guess we don't really fit in with that but ohh well, we do what we do. we played in modesto with our friends from portland raise the bridges and in lodi with one of sacramento's finest hardcore bands. 2 great shows and we made some new friends and met a couple of chicks that were totally cracked out on something. right now we are driving to portland and have been since 11 last night. we almost had to stop and get our brakes worked on in the mountains but it ended up being a false alarm, i guess we just have a lot of weight in our trailer. were about 30 minutes outside of portland right now and ready to hang out at mt tabor legacy for the rest of the night. then it's on to spokane on sunday. ohh this never gets old i could do this the rest of my life.

Dear California,

I am quite amazed at the cyclist lane you have here in your sunny, earthquake state. It just puts me in awe of how spacious a lane can be for such a slim way of transportation. How there is the lane you drive on, then the lane for bicycles and other smaller things that can roll and turn, AND THEN the lane for you to park on the side of the streets.
Oh life, you win again....with the goodness you bring along with touring.

thank you.

So our tour has been going better than we could have imagined as far as the shows and crowds go, but this week is gonna be kinda tough since we only have a show booked every other day on average.

Yesterday we basically drove through the california desert all day long and it was really uneventful. I don't even think I drove, I just came in and out of sleep all day since the drive was so boring! Ughhh. Also we didn't have a show yesterday so we just hung out in the van and unsuccessfully tried to sell cds at a mall in bakersfield.

Today has been one of the most amazing days of this tour because we are staying with kacys aunt and uncle and they are the most legit people ever! We were supposed to play a show tomorrow in fresno but we had to drop it cause we would have to drive about 5 hours round trip to play acoustic since they won't let jeremy in since he's not 21. Whatever.

More california updates coming soon! Sorry if I was rambling in this but I typed it out on my phone so I don't feel like trying to proof read it. If you're not already, follow all our individual twitters and please keep us in your prayers! We love you : )

so we were in las vegas for 2 days played a sweet show with a couple of awesome bands from vegas, searchight and fearless fearless. searchlight gave us some shirts so we had some new clothes to wear the next day. then the next day we were hangin out trying to get some money and almost got all of our stuff stolen but thank god we got out of there with everything. right now we haven't had a show in 2 days and have no money for food, so we've slept in the van for 2 nights and ate some ramen. kac's uncle is hookin us up with some spaghetti tonight and a floor to sleep on in sacramento so were all stoked about that. show tomorrow in modesto, ca.

We played a show at Chaser's in Scottsdale two nights ago.
It was really interesting. But overall a good venue with good people.
Made a few new friends there, and had one who had family in OK as well. But the white guys who rapped(from Arizona?)...just threw me a little off guard.
But they did their thing. I think.

Ahh, and there was a band that played sometime after us, In Data Out, was there name. i personally dug their stuff ALOT. It was like....At The Drive-In...meets Bloc Party, meets The Fall Of Troy's guitar-tapping skills. Very catchy stuff.

Anyways, shoutout to those dudes, and just letting you grapes in on the tour status.

(by the way, we're sitting at The Box Office in Las Vegas right now....so everyone, animal, and thing should come hang out!!!)

pleasant hooters,

so day 2 was a little more fun because we only had to drive a couple hours to the show. we stopped at the thing! which was pretty lame and a waste of a dollar, lol. they had signs up on the highway for like 3 hours so we figured we'd check it out. the show was at the living room in tucson and was pretty fun. we met some awesome guys at the show that let us take showers at their house and we crashed at brian's house which was awesome and josh even scored a burrito at 4 am thanks to brian's help!
