-This Week highlight to new releases brings out one of our own favorites latest release, Pama International’s Outernational!
Released last November (' 09), by their own Rockers Revolt label, Outernational is to date the album that best represents the tagline from Pama International – The Heavyweight Dub sounds of Now … soul-fueled rockers delight! –
After becoming in 2006 the 1st modern days band, in more than 30 years, to enter respected Trojan Records catalogue, Pama International returned in 2008 to their DIY philosophy, creating the Rockers Revolt label and releasing the acclaimed Love Filled Dub band.
The new Outernational joins Sean Flowerdew and John Collins in the production chair, over 12 themes where Lee Perry and King Tubby dubwise legacy joins hands wid 60Ts Southern Soul, with a suberb touch of Rockers/Steppers.
The classic sounds of yesterday, with an amazing lyrical work filled wid current times social commentary in the voices of Finny and Lynval Golding, Outernational has to be the more complete and well achieved Pama International album to date!
More vibes coming next week from the soundstation, featuring yet another Interview:)
And a new release dat will amaze all the punk days fans!
Hayah Love!
