We've spent all of our time writing music, working on our live show and scrambling just to keep up.  Now, I think we have finally reached a point where we can look out into the vast world of AudioBody fans and say "hello!"

So, hi!  My name is Matt and I am the original creator of AudioBody.  I have been writing music since I was twelve (probably earlier) under various different names like, "Alternate Current",  "edustrial", and "TWO Loud".   AudioBody was my first real attempt at making something worthy of the world.

Most people know about AudioBody because of the "Extreme Diet Coke & Mentos Experiments" by EepyBird.  I was extremely lucky that they decided to use my music for that video, since it was one of the most viral videos EVER on YouTube.  I am actually friends with both Fritz and Stephen (from EepyBird.com), and believe it or not I am also part of their creative team.   The burst of popularity from that video was quite unexpected and I scrambled to fill the thousands of CD orders that came in (not a bad problem to have).   None of my stuff was on iTunes, CDbaby or anything like that.  It was all just physical CD orders.  Sometimes I wonder how many more albums I would have sold if my music was readily available at that time.  I am very thankful for the explosion of popularity we received from that one little video.  

The last couple years I have spent trying to catch-up to the rest of the world by getting on iTunes, Napster, Rhapsody, Myspace, Facebook, CDbaby, LastFM,  bla bla bla.  Maintaining all of this social networking is quite a task, but I am eager to learn.  AudioBody will rule Internet at the exact moment the Internet becomes obsolete.

Just recently, my brother, Jason, joined the AudioBody team as an official band member.  My brother and I have worked together as performing artists for over 14 years, and he has always been helping behind the scenes with my music projects.  It was a natural choice for us to band together, excuse the pun, to get AudioBody to the next level.  Yes, that's right, we're just getting started.  We have a lot in store for our fans, and we can't wait to get out there and Rock The House!

Well, that gives you some idea as to what we've been up to.  I have never blogged before and I hope as I write more my thoughts will be clearer, my grammar will improve (or not),  and I can fill you in on more of what we are doing.  Thanks for reading!
