As a rule of thumb if you send us a FRIEND REQUEST we will not add your band. Sonic Cathedral.com is devoted to the FEMALE vocal music scene. We want our My Space page to be a resource for fans of FEMALE vocal music. It's nothing personal, in fact at least half of the bands we sell have a male vocalist, but they also have a FEMALE singer.

 For every ONE site out here on the net that caters to the FEMALE vocalist there are thousands of sites that promote MALE vocal bands. For that reason, Sonic Cathedral.com remains true to our cause, which is the promotion of the FEMALE voice.

 We appreciate your understanding.

First, we want to say THANK YOU to all of you who have been kind enough to add Sonic Cathedral.com as a Friend. We sincerely appreciate it.

Sonic Cathedral.com is devoted to vending and promoting bands with female vocalists. Our site includes a Forum, WebZine and retail Store. We do a brisk business and have a very loyal and specialized client base.

Admittedly, we lean toward the gothic/metal/alternative genres, but we do carry bands whose sounds and genres run the gambit from singer/songwriter to death metal. We are always looking for new bands to sell in our store and to review for our webzine. Thats why we're writing you.

Sonic Cathedral.com needs you to help us, help you. We want to create symbiotic relationships. Weve been a member of My Space since October 2005, but we really only just started networking a few weeks ago. The sheer number of bands on My Space is overwhelming. Its virtually impossible for us to listen to, and moreover contact every band we find. Thats where we need your help.

The primary function of Sonic Cathedral.com is to sell female vocal cds. We pay cash upfront for every cd/dvd that we stock. We DO NOT play the consignment game. Sonic Cathedral.com is very dedicated to purchasing only quality, manufactured cds and dvds for resale. What we ask is that you send us a promotional copy of any cd/dvd that you would be interested in us vending for you. For obvious reasons we want to see the actual product.

The way this works is very simple. After we receive your material, we will determine if its a product that we would like to stock. We contact those bands that we feel we can successfully vend, and hash out a reasonable wholesale price for each item. Sonic Cathedral.com will negotiate method of payment (usually company check) and we will send the funds out prior to you shipping cds to us. (NOTE: we DO NOT pay s&h costs)

Sonic Cathedral.com has numerous customers that collect autographed cds. We usually request a few tastefully autographed cds from every band we carry. Sonic Cathedral.com does not charge our customers any extra money for autographed merchandise. Autographed merchandise benefits both your band and our customers. Newly acquired autographed merchandise appears three places in our Store. Our Store is divided into various categories. For example a newly stocked item shows up in the Store, New Items, and Autographed items sections.

Were also looking for new bands to review for our Sonic WebZine. We have several writers with various tastes and preferences in various places around the world. If you wish to have your material reviewed all you really have to do is ask. We are also actively seeking bands and vocalists to interview. Please contact Sam Grant (Lysander). Sonic Cathedral.com is pleased to help you promote your music any way we can. Were always happy to send post cards, stickers, lighters, magazines or whatever promotional items you may have out with our outgoing orders. In the past we have run contests for both bands and websites/fansites, and under the proper circumstances we would be happy to do so again. We consider these things to be value added extras for our loyal customers. Sonic Cathedral wins, your band wins, and the customers win as well. Our company is also more than happy to exchange BANNER links with you for both youre my Space page, and especially your official web pages.

Many of our customers WILL NOT use My Space due to some technical situations. Please do not overlook the opportunity to introduce your band to the Sonic Cathedral.com Forum. Again, due to the sheer of bands we cannot possibly post every bands individual urls. You will find that we have a very well established, knowledgeable community that thirst for new bands with female vocals to listen to. Moreover, because of the specialized nature of our business, you never know who is watching.

Please add us to your mailing list. We are sincerely interested in the progress of your band.
