Requirements to become a DJ/Presenter at the Gaming Radio Network

• Microphone
• Good headphones
• 256k MINIMUM upload speed (http://www.speedtest.net is a good site to check if you are unsure)
• Plenty of spare time
• A minimum of 2500 mp3s
• Be at least 18yrs old
• Streaming software (like Sam2 or Sam3)
• IRC client (such as mIRC)
• An active account for the game associated with the station you are applying to

(And a working knowledge about IRC + the broadcasting program you are going to use)

The 22nd and the 23rd Januari was the days when we had 48 hours shows, DJ after DJ was keeping the stream warm. It was when the Pirates of the burning sea (POTBS) had it's launch and people had the chance of buying the game in the store. Under our shows we gave away some prizes. Here is what we gave away:

* 10 limited edition "If you can read this, I'm boarding you" PotBS T-shirts

* 4 PotBS Maps signed by the entire team

* 5 PotBS logo embroidered, drawstring black satin bags filled with the following goodies:
-PotBS Temporary Tattoos
-PotBS Vinyl Stickers
-1 actual Ship in a bottle with a PotBS dog tag attached
-1 Plush green, blue, red and yellow Parrot wearing a black PotBS T-shirt

* 2 PotBS pre-order boxes, signed by the team

We had a lot of fun and will come up with more things to give away time to time.
