These blogs are talking about Yoñlu >> Check them out:

PREFIX MAGAZINE
-“This is a showcase of the sounds of a soul lost between the lines, and fortunately he left behind a taste of a young mind working wonders”

TREBLE
“Vinicius possessed that rare ability to imbue his melodies with more than just simple melancholy. These songs, without any of their words, tug at heartstrings and manage to convey what he was feeling with stunning power and directness.”

FACT MAGAZINE / UK
    5/5 stars (user-rated)
“It needs to be said that [Yonlu’s recordings] are really good”

17 DOTS
“The music on Society is arresting and beautiful, a testament to a young, creative mind.”

WHAT TO WEAR DURING AN ORANGE ALERT
“…other teens may find hope and comfort where Yonlu found desperation and sorrow."

BLOGCRITICS
“…an assortment of creativity, experimentation, and intimate exploration.”
“A Society In Which No Tear Is Shed Is Inconceivably Mediocre… is a very moving portrait of a embattled young man who used music as his shield from the world.”

THE BRICK WEEKLY (Richmond, VA Daily Paper's Blog)
    “This album’s pure gold, folks.

CRITICAL LISTENING
“A Society In Which No Tear Is Shed Inconceivably... is truly boggling. Seriously. I’m writing this review in a state of dumbfoundedness unknown to most grown men. I feel like a newborn, discovering shapes and sounds for the first time.”

THE PASSION OF INDIE MUSIC
“This is a showcase of the sounds of a soul lost between the lines, and fortunately he left behind a taste of a young mind working wonders.”

EMUSIC (great feature & review)
“what Society mostly evinces is a mountain of tuneful promise. Yoñlu demonstrated so much potential, that even his online peers couldn't help but speculate on what the future held in store for him.”

ESD MUSIC
“…a delicate but confident touch on acoustic guitar, a talent for artful overdubbing and an affinity for the occasionally off-beat multi-part musical, and that’s Yonlu, a/k/a Vinicius Gageiro Marques, in a nutshell.”

BLURT
    “Talented beyond his years”

FRANTIK MAGAZINE
“Yonlu has a profound, one of a kind way of making light come out of a somber moment. Track-per-track, Yonlu pushes the envelope with bossa nova, ethereal musings, and post-rock tidings.”

SPUTNIK MUSIC
“It is Yonlu’s talent that truly makes A Society In Which No Tear Is Shed Is Incredibly Mediocre so intriguing. His album is addictive, powerful, and imperfect.”

LOST AT E MINOR
“One of the most intriguing stories I’ve come across this year”
“It’s an amazing listen and very ahead of its time.”

SYNTHESIS.NET
“…ahead of his time and wise beyond his years”

CRAWDADDY
“…it leaves you with a peaceful, yet strangely unsettled feeling…”
“…it induces an all-over sense of intrigue and enigma.”
“… a moving musical marriage of art, society, and an individualized realization as expressed through the eyes of a lost, young troubadour.

IRISH TIMES
“I Know What It’s Like and a spectral version of Vitor Ramils Estrela, Estrela come across as bittersweet postcards from the edge.”
-4/5 stars

GUARDIAN
“Sophisticated and suffused with a precocious wisdom…”

METRO
“…locks the listener in a warm, easy embrace.”
“…extraordinary, and worthy of mainstream celebration.”
