I'm not on myspace much anymore...For some reason i find it stupid. I joined it at first because my online friends were here, and i thought i could promote my music, but now, after like 2 years of contacting people online and stuff i feel it's a lost battle. A lot of users add me as a friend, i get a lot of friend requests, but we are all the same here, we are all looking for a chance to be special and we want the other people to notice how great we are, and that's fine. We are all artists today, we are all musicians, singers; have a computer and you make music, maybe release something, and so on. Like me. Sometimes i think i should fight more, the problem is i dont know how to, i don't even feel like making more music, because its not gonna be good enough or it's probably never gonna be out there like i'd like to. Yes, i'm complaining right now. A lot of people told me my cd sucks, maybe it's true who knows, maybe others deserve success more than me, that's why i didn't have it.
I go to bed at night and i compose songs in my head, from beginning to end, plus arrangements, beat....The next day its all gone.

P.S: Fuck all the readers that don't leave any comments.

Finally the article featuring my story is out. A year ago a colombian journalist approached me through slsk and interviewed me for the biggest newspaper in Colombia. After much struggling and dealing with his bosses, who have an old fashion point of view about music, he has been able to publish the article...As usual, the info in itself has some mistakes, but what can you do..

Nony from TierraFM interviewed me during his morning program which happens to be one of the best ones in the country. He has more than 30.000 listeners in Andalusia.

So I'm gonna design the poster to hang on the music stores. If you have any suggestion about what to write on it or what picture to use, please don't hesitate in posting about it..Advice is welcome, always.

So i finally decided to go to every music store in Barcelona and try to leave some of my cds or vinyls there. I started yesterday by going to 4 stores. The 1st one (Tasmaniac), kept 4 vinyls and 2 cds, they are in deposit untill they sell them.The guy was really nice, french, was very helpful and not arrogant or anything you might expect from a so called music guru, he forwarded me to the next store . The guy at the 2nd store (cd drome ppfff) was very snobby and rude snobby and said i was too commercial (in the beginning he wouldn't even look at the cds, he said by the cover he could see it wasn 't the kind of music they have), asshole. Later on i went to their website and noticed they have genres like pop-electronic. electronic-dance, etc...Tell me my music doesnt fit in any of those? In their catalogue also have danii minogue and depeche mode...go figure... The 3rd one (Discos Revolver), bought one cd and one vinyl at store price (5 euro de vinyl and 7,5 euro the cd). The 4th store (Discos Castelló), they told me to contact the central office because they are a big chain and they take care of the distribution in Castelldefels. So im gonna call them and ask whats up. In the 1st store, which was the coolest because the guy was french and really sweet,the guy gave me the phone number and email of a distributor in Spain but they are from Germany. He said if they like my music they will promote it and distribute it. He said they are really nice guys.
So these are my adventures as a 1st time dealing with this. At one point i wanted to cry but it ended up being not bad. I have to make 2 posters to leave in the music stores :)
It's too bad some people are so close minded or they think they can treat you like crap just because they are behind a counter and you are asking for something and they have the last word on it. If you look at this at a larger scale i don't wanna even think about what kind of ego monsters we have ruling the countries...

how do you bring your music to the world? How do you get mags to review you?
advice welcome.
