Friends, my bandmates and I are hopping in my Chevy Tahoe, hitching up the trailer and heading out to for a week of worship with wonderful people. Friends, I'm very stoked that the indie album "2 days in the same place" is now on Itunes. Search "Jared Anderson" and check it out. The tune "Spanish Steps" and "Slow Down" are the hightlights.

Current mood:  calm
Haven't reached out in a super long time. Just been running to keep up with conferences and festivals and taking advantage of summer which means going camping in the pop-up with the kids.

Hope everyone is well. Not a ton to report other than we just had our worship conference at New Life called ENTER. Also had a new project release from New Life Worship called "Counting on God". You should check it out.

Also, i recently posted on I-tunes an indie record i did in college called 12 off the shelf. It's only got one worship song, but it contains the best song i've ever written. it's called "Neptune's taming of the seahorse". Sounds weird, but listen to it and see if you disagree with me.

Beauty of the Lord 

I just saw a video that my friend in Florida sent to me. A mom in their church video-ed her daughter in the back seat of their car singing this song. The mom is filming her through the rear-view mirror while she's driving.  

This would result in major injuries if I were driving. I hope to post it on myspace soon. 

Child-like innocence seems to evade me so quickly. I start focusing on the details of accomplishment and productivity and forget to take time to play cars. 

My boys are sooooo into cars right now. Hot Wheels cars in case you were wondering. We got them this 4 lane sloped track at Wal-mart the other day. It's actually pretty fun to play with.  

When we gave them this race track, it had the effect that I want Jesus to have on me. 

Lord, take my breath away today.
