This is the first time that I've blogged in a while. I know that for anyone that reads my personal blogs you may have come to know that they're from the heart but also a little sad. One may also assume that there are plenty of reasons for a bummer of a blog here as well. For the few people that were hoping for that sad saga continuing I'm forever sorry (OK, just for a little bit:).

For any of you looking to get inside of our heads and/or the studio after the change here's a glimpse. For starters there was a lot of internal assessment and analyzing not only within the walls of the band but also within members. The first couple of weeks weren't easy but change often isn't. Justin and I have both recently came across a new vein in the collective mind that is the music of Sunshine Behavior. Just last night the studio came alive with amazing music from Justin, Jeremy and I. I honestly can't believe the sweet, catchy, emotional and powerful music that was as thick as fog in the room. No, it wasn't Justin's fragrant arse either. This was something that had gotten set aside when the mood to sing wasn't right. Basically if song ideas were women we would have about 10 or so pregnant ladies about to burst. I never thought I would compare new song ideas to pregos but everything has its moment i guess:)

So you may want to know what we're doing about our missing member. At this point I can't really spill the beans but I will tell you that were working with some AMAZING guys and gals who are ready to go to the next level with us. Some of you maybe concerned with what will happen to the sound but just remember that all of the music and vibe of Sunny B is here and only getting stronger and when we introduce the next member you will just how very very far from failing we are. I've been in this scene longer than a lot of people and I'm also my own worst critic of any work I'm involved in and I have to tell you that this is for the best of Sunshine Behavior and our frans and I couldn't be prouder than I am now. Thanks to all of you for your continual support and also to Justin and Jeremy for riding out what looks more and more like a speed bump in the career of Sunny B.

"Sunshine Behavior"

Ok, do here it is kids. This is the info coming from Slim Daddy J. Jeremy is and has been done with his amazing drum tracks for a while now. Slim Daddy Jimmy (me) has had my bass or is it bass lines done for some time also. Harley Wood has 1 song lett to record (Vicodon Vicky), but is waiting for Justin (speedy) to finish his guitar tracks. This is has been so much more of a project than we had ever thought it to have been. Lies aside, a lot of it has been our fault in one way or another and the process has really shown who has the shit together and who doesn’t. I think that a lot of truth comes out of a situation like this. There is so so much detail that there really isn’t any room for bullshit, which even i have come to appreciate.

Cutting to the chase... We met with an amazing friend of mine Brian amd he’s taking the lead on our album work. I’ve seen his work and it’s amazing. The album will have around 12-14 tracks depending on how they all turn out. We’ve got some people that may be laying some organ tracks and viola parts down to add to the flavor. I’ve spoke with the Fineline and we’re hosting our c.d. release there this July. The exact date will be set in the next couple weeks. Thank you for all the continued love and support. This album and every drop of sweat on stage is all that we have to return to you. We all hope you like it.

 We’re starting off with 1,000 copies will that work?

ha, ha you should see how gross my keyboard is. i swear there’s at least a half of a bowl of cerial underneath the keys. gross! i just want you all to know that the spillage happend while i was sending you a message. thanks for the mess. that’s a tangent.

i guess i really just wanted to thank you all for going to chicago and spending the rare free moments that we all shared together. there were 16 dollar breakfasts, 10 dollar drinks, crazy bums that make minneapolis bum look like slackers (Funny?), bus rides with the monsons, and the hob. wow. btw, i’m still broke. bodog was kinda a bummer, but it reminded me of where home is and why i’m happy. home is with all of you and so is happieness.
