lifes lessons

Well with christmas quickly approaching and of course I am in the holiday spirit....I love christmas time, but it makes me realize how truely blessed I am. I have such a wonderful family and friends that I am so grateful for.....and with the recent obstacles I have had to overcome lately I would have never been able to get through all of them without everyone. So thank you to everyone who has been there for me and esp some which you know who you are who have had to listen to all my bitching and complaning and deal with all of my many mood swings(heavens knows I was on an emotional rollar coaster there for awhile).We tend to get so caught up in our day to day routines that we dont realize how much we have until God throws something at ya that you would never expect to happen and it throws you for a loop and opens your eyes. I know that I use to take so many people and things for granted until my recent accident which being out of my daily routine for almost 3 months now and having to have depended on others has truely made me realize that every day I should be thankful that I am alive and have such supportive and caring family and friends.
God really has his own way of opening our eyes sometimes...but if we put our faith in him, he can bring us through anything. God knows what our life holds and we should have patience and always put our faith in him....even when we tend to fall off the tracks now and then(believe me I think I have fell off the tracks more than I should...no one is perfect) God has his own way of picking us back up and making us realize the important things in life. So at this time of year we should remember the true reason of Christmas as we enjoy all the hustle and bustle of shopping, spending time with our loved ones, and enjoying all the goodies that this time brings.
