Ok, everyone keeps asking me about this so here's the story:
On Saturday night I was gigging at the State Bar, doing my current weekend staple material 'Clubbing' in which I cover the subject of the media hysteria over Date Rape & the potential importance of the dape rape drug to overweight & facial unattractive people...set went well in front of an odd crowd, you know those odd crowds...then at the end a guy came up to me aged 50 - 60, a little tubby with grey hair & a checked shirt:
Man: Do you ever know anyone that's been raped?
Me: Yes, a few.
Man: What gives you the right to do material like that?
Me: I believe that you should be able to do whatever material you want on any subject, I believe that by saying you can't joke about one thing or another that's how you create division in the world and ultimately allow the rise of racism, etc...
Man: I think it's appauling
Me: Well, I don't care what you think
The guy then stormed off, and 2 other audience members complained to the MC.
The quote I gave about material comes from Trey Parker & Matt Stone's discussions on South Park & Team America, if it's good enough for them, it should be good enough for him. I'd never normally say "I don't care what you think" to someone unless they fail to listen to a reasonable point or do not give at least a slighty decent response...
If he is reading this I'd like to say "Fuck you in your fucking ass you scum bag mother fucker" this may seem extreme however on reflection he made no comment over the jokes about paedophilia & disabilities, what kind of retard hypocrite retard is he anyway?
A friend commented that it would have been brilliant if he'd waited outside then raped me, if he had, I'd have let him, would have been comedy gold, but something tells me that'd be to clever for him.
To sum up, complainers, if you have an educated legitimate response to my material, let me know, not in that bullshit end of the night way, during my set, like a real heckler if not go protest Jerry Springer the Opera with the rest of the fags.
