Hey guys, 1 of the 2 new singles I'm pushing 'Eskimo Love' got it's first play on Radio 1xtra on DEC 15th , DJ B's show!  We are over the moon as it's the first time a none Garage track from me has gotten mainstream exposure, it is the best Xmas present we could wish for, so Big Up DJ B and my friend Kasey Kxx :).

 Wassup wassup wassup, its been bloody ages since I've written a blog, to be frank I started The Soundtrack (which has been amazing) , and I just didn't have time for anything else for a little while, but now I'm back biyatches with a new Manager , New Songs, New Band and a great weekly night @ Ronnie Scotts!!! What a fantastic year it has been check it out!

NEW SINGLES 'ESKIMO LOVE' AND 'WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR ' WITH DAVINAH TAKEN FROM THE MIXTAPE 'THE SOUNDTRACK'

 Ok guys so it's been ages since I've had anything new out, this year seemed to be the year of re-releases with the Baseline Mix of 'All I Wanna Do', getting into the top 5 on 1xtra and the Remix of YOU getting on to The Ministry Of Sound Garage Classic 2. I couldn't go a whole year without anyone  hearing anything new so, to coincide with my new night at Ronnie Scotts, I've put together a Mix tape called 'The Soundtrack' it features some of my previous garage stuff that people may not of been able to get hold of and it features some brand new songs from me that give a taster of what's to come, 2 tracks that feature on the mix tape are Eskimo Love and a brand new single for the underground 'What I'm Looking For' which is a duet with R&B Diva Davinah (Runaway). If you check my myspace you can listen to the Sponge baseline remix which is brilliant and Eskimo Love.

 The only place you will be able to get a copy of the Mix tape is at my show The Soundtrack which is at Ronnie Scotts every Tuesday, The Mix tape has 10 songs and is just 5 pound!

NEW MANAGER AND BAND

I can honestly say for the first time in my life, musically I have a fantastic team around me and it feels great, I finally have a Manager that really believes in me and my music and shares the same vision, his name is JT aka Justin Thomas and you can contact him on 'Tel: 070 1703 1930, we have so many great plans for the future, I will have a brand new website www.oggiemusic.com and ill be working on a new album!

 If you read my blogs on the regs you'll remember I told you that I had put a band together so we could do my music live, well we have a new edition Zoe Alexandria ..s as well as Eugenio Dacosta on drums, Chris Webb on Base, you can catch us at The Soundtrack every Tuesday, and all over the UK in the new year, we will also be in Cyprus in January!

THE SOUNDTRACK SO FAR…

For those of you who don't know The Soundtrack is my new weekly night at Ronnie Scotts where we show indie films from new film makers plus me and the band perform songs and we have guest and open Mic.

So far it has been an extremely amazing experience getting the chance to perform my own music each week with such a great band is brilliant, the talent in London is unbelievable , we have seen some fantastic  short films including work from the Blaine Brothers and we got a chance to show my sisters critically acclaimed film 'Tight Jeans', people who have been nominated for Baftas have allowed us to show there work and it's just been incredible, some great acts have done sets from Melody, Daniel Walker , Shaka, Alex Holland and artist like Davinah and Bobby Nio have stepped up to the open Mic where we sing songs from films. The staff at Ronnie Scotts are brilliant and it's an honor to be part of such an historical venue that still has some of the freshest and quality music from across the world.

'YOU' ON THE MINISTRY OF SOUND 'GARAGE CLASSICS VOL.2 OUT NOW!!!
Yes folks thanks to the brilliant Wideboys, the Agent X Remix of my track 'YOU' is on the brand new Ministry of Sound album 'Garage Classics Vol 2, which was released on Monday, I'm well happy about this cos the CD is fantastic and features some of the BIGGEST Garage and Dance records this year and from the past. It's an excellent spring board for 'YOU' which I will be releasing as a mainstream single later in the year with Agent X! Look out for tracks from some of my friends which are also on the compilation, DJ NG, Katy B and Versatile with 'Tell Me' and Vula from Basement Jaxx also has a track on there with the Wideboys, it's BIG!


MY BRAND NEW NIGHT @ 'RONNIE SCOTTS 'THE SOUNDTRACK' STARTS IN SEPTEMBER!
Thanks to the brilliant Natalie Williams, I've been a part of a great night called 'Soul Family @ the worlds greatest Jazz venue 'Ronnie Scotts. Now I have been fortunate enough to have my own night starting in September called 'The Soundtrack'.

The Soundtrack will take place every Tuesday in the Ronnie Scotts Bar, its triple pleasure for all film and music fans, not only will you get a chance to see me perform my own music live each week, but you will also get to watch brand new films from young independent film makers and take part in the Movie Open Mic, where people will get a chance to sing songs from some of the greatest films ever!

The launch night starts on September 16th, ill post another blog closer to the time, but if your a young film maker and would like to have your film shown then hit me up on myspace!



YOU"RE NOT ALONE BEING RELEASED AS A SINGLE!
In my last blog, I told you guys about a cover I had done of Olives You're Not Alone, I put the song on Myspace and asked you guys for feedback, well you spoke and we have listened! The song will be released as a single with a brand new Baseline mix and i'll be shooting the video in the next few months! big up everyone who gave feedback on the track!



LIVE SHOWS AND NEW EP NEARLY FINISHED!
I promised you guys I would be bringing my stuff live with full band and finally it's all sorted! I did my first gig with full band @ The Deptford Arms a few weeks back and it was FANTASTIC!!! Big thank you to everyone that came down and supported my show, Shaka and Conrad The Scoundral for performing as well, it was brilliant to do 'YOU', Follow Me and 'All I Wanna Do' and add some new flava to them, as well as debut some songs from my forthcoming EP! I have one more song from the EP to be recorded and i'm planning to have it out in October! The next live gig from me and the band is on August 9th @ My Place in Earls Court, Big UP Chris , Eugenio & Dave, we smashed it!

Sunday bloody Sunday! Wassup people, it’s Sunday morning and I’ve looked outside and it’s fucking snowing! Bullshit, I hate the cold I really do, but since I’m hibernating at home (in APRIL), I thought I’d be productive and blog . New releases and all sorts so read below!

ALL I WANNA DO BASELINE MIX OUT NOW ON VINYL, SINGLE OF THE MONTH IN DJ MAG AND NOW ON RADIO 1XTRA!

 If you’ve been on my page recently or been listening to a lot of Ed Case & Oggie Vs S.K.T, ’All I Wanna Do’ Baseline Remix. Now it’s finally out on vinyl and we got a really great 5 star review in this month’s copy of DJ Mag, actually it was the Garage money shot (garage single of the month). This is the second time ’All I Wanna Do’ has been given top ratings from DJ Mag so I’m really pleased. The track also received its debut on Radio 1xtra this week thanks to Mista Jam, so if you’re a 1xtra listener please show some love and request it!

NEW SINGLE IN THE WORKS – ’YOUR NOT ALONE’

If you recognize the title it’s because it is from the classic originally recorded by Olive, I’m working on a project with one of the most prolific men in the music business at the moment, and with any luck my rendition of this dance floor anthem will be my first mainstream single, so far the feedback from people around me has been really positive so let’s see what happens.. J

AGENT X & OGGIE 'YOU 2008' NEW SINGLE J

In 2006 I released my first solo Vinyl 'YOU' on the garage circuit, it was a big deal for me cos previous to that I had only been known for covering 'Follow Me' and 'YOU' was  written by ME (lol).

For 2008 I have been very fortunate that Agent X wanted to revamp the track and re-release  it, currently Agent X are having major success with Ultra on the brilliant  'Perfect Girl'. The New version of YOU is FANTASTIC, trust me, so stay tuned!!

 As for 'Spice Girl' I was too ill to push it over the Xmas period but funnily enough have found out that it has been on a few American mixtapes!

DR SPEED & SEZ Feat. OGGIE 'GETAWAY' – VIDEO Trailer!

Dr Speed & SEZ are hitting up Channel U with a single that guest features me on the Chorus, the track is called Getaway and is banging, the video is very entertaining and is loosely based on the Prison Break series, really cool! In a few weeks time a brilliant campaign is gonna kick off called Make Your Mark In Music, the campaign is designed to inspire people from the age 0f 15 to 30 who want to be a p[art of the music business to become enterprisers. It's brilliant for anyone who loves music and wants to learn about all aspects of the business and the eclectic career opportunities that are available. WHAT'S NEXT?

I'm still working on an album I had to put everything on hold cos of a chest infection, but I'm back in the studio 2mrw, luckily I was able to do a show on NYE at Ronnie Scotts with Natalie Williams, Vula and Sharlene Hector which was a bloody amazing way to see in the new year!

 I'm currently in the process of putting a band together as well, which I'm really excited about so look out for that, I wanna be on the road this summer!
