I am sitting here today trying to get a grip on my emotions...........its almost like i dont want to get excited. For the past 6 months since Senator obama.........(OOOO EXCUSE ME.......PRESIDENT ELECT OBAMA!!!!!......DAM I LIKE THE SOUND OF THAT!!!!!!!......) i have not wanted to get excited about what was going on right before my eyes. I wrestled with my self to not fall into the circus of obama......because in all honesty i didnt think the powers that be would even remotely give a black man a second thought about being the leader of the free world. it was impossible in my mind and i felt like there would be some type of madness pulled at the end and all my joy would be stripped from me....so i didnt get excited for that fear.

   Then he beat hillliary, and i am like wait, whats going on, and he had acceptance speeches in football stadiums with record number crowds......thats when i thought MAN.....THIS GUY IS FOR REAL AND EVEN WHITE PEOPLE LIKE HIM.........i was still tryin to be reserved........

       But know its november the 5th, 2008 and all the polls are closed. All the votes are in. All the ballots have been cast. And not only did this eloquent, smart brother from chicago win to be the 44th president of the United States of America.........but he whooped ass and took names in a landslide......are u f%$^& kidding me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its all over and they cant steal it from us in a close race with hanging chads, misplaced ballots to recount, or non funtion machine errors..........we won baby!!!!

  And when i say we, I mean u all readin this blog and us.....he owes this to u america because everyone got out yesterday in record numbers young and old to make sure your civic duty was upheld and to make sure we have a AFRICAN AMERICAN MAN in the white house for the first and maybe only time in history that this might happen........god is good!!!!!!!!!

           So in the end i wanna say to all who was part of history yeterday to applaud your selves!!!!!!!!.....it couldnt and wouldnt have happen had it not been for you........congraulations

         Be proud today not just black people, but all people in general and the world as a whole, because as of today a CHANGE IS FINALLY GONNA COME!!!!!!

And now that the race is over, its not over for us as a people, this should inspire a since of change in every single one of us to strive for things that we never dreamed imaginable.......because mr obama has broken that glass ceiling and now there is no excuse to reach new heights as a people and a world. It doesnt stop with him being elected, thats just the beginning, now lets get our act together because there is truly nothing to hold us back now!!!!!! Reach for your dreams people!!!!!!!!!!
