MYSTERIOUS CHOCOLATE will not be playing many shows in the coming months because The Mikiech has moved to L.A. as of Friday, September 18th.

Sorry to all the kids who are under 21 and never got to have one last Mysterious Chocolate show. If the WhAAM Space didn't hate our guts, it probably could have happened.

On a lighter note, however, in the next month or so we WILL be putting up some new songs and perhaps have the new EP available to purchase.

Thanks to everyone who's our friend---and what the heck, everyone who's not. We hope to see Bellingham again sooner than later, but in the meantime, you can still see Mysterious Chocolate's very own Kevin Lindsay playing bass for one of the greatest Bellingham bands that exists---BROWNES CONDITION. And not to forget the world-famous Bobby Yost, playing this Halloween in Bellingham's own Misfits tribute band---HORROR BUSINESS.

So in case anyone's been upset or scared by the recent rumors that have been flooding the internet, don't worry---MYSTERIOUS CHOCOLATE has not broken up! They have NOT died in a fiery plane-crash while on tour with Kanye West and C+C Music Factory! And they DEFINITELY haven't changed their name to "Yeah! Oh Yeah!" in an effort to relieve local band, "Yes! Oh Yes!" of their title for MOST CLEVER BAND-NAME!

HOWEVER...

MYSTERIOUS CHOCOLATE has temporarily put-off writing any so-called "new" music, in order to work full-blast-to-the-max on writing an all-new epic ROCK-MUSICAL that will begin shooting this summer!

It takes place in 1776. It's about this crew of sailors that get commissioned to take one final voyage to an uncharted island in an attempt to find and capture a giant crab. Along the way they get caught up in a terrible storm that destroys the ship and sends them all sinking down to the bottom of the ocean. When they awake they find themselves inside of a gigantic, oxygen-filled coral-reef, that is inhabited by an entire civilization of "sea-people" who wear little green-sequined speedos. When they discover that the aforementioned "giant crab" actually comes down to feed on the giant coral, the sailors band together with the sea-people in an effort to vanquish the crab, and cease it from destroying the home of thousands of people. Then there's this love story that's intertwined with it too, like there should be with any good musical.

Anyway, the point is... BE PREPARED, AND BE PUMPED! Mysterious Chocolate should hopefully have some sweet new material in the next couple of months, but please don't be upset that you might have to stomach through the same old songs about The Mikiech's penis, and that one about the robot-cat or whatever, just a few more times.

It was written & directed by a good friend, Aaron Beckum, and is recently getting some sweet-ass publicity! It's called, "WHO WANTS TO BE AN AMERIKAN?" Please be a gentleman and check it out. So, MYSTERIOUS CHOCOLATE is finally back from their critically scorned hiatus! Much knowledge was gained and much maturing ensued during their seemingly endless quest to Rock and Rule over the past few months. Now, with a brand new addition to the team---a living corpse named Norrin Radd, harnessing the Power Cosmic---and a few brand new songs to add to the set list, MYSTERIOUS CHOCOLATE is a four-man tri-force with balls big enough to handle anything---even GALACTUS!!!

So it looks like Mysterious Chocolate probably won't be playing any shows for the next three months. Bobby is having a baby---congratulations Bobby---and Jesse is soon undergoing a sex-change operation---congratulations Jesse. One of the nice things for Jesse is that he won't have to change his name---I'm sorry ---HER name. We're proud of you Jesse! Anyway, keep checking back and maybe we won't be gone for so long. However, don't count your chickens...ever. PEACE, homies!!!

Wow everybody! We just got back from a big tour on the east coast. We played from the top of New York to the bottom of Florida. It was totally insane! I had no idea that MYSTERIOUS CHOCOLATE had so many Down's Syndrome and wheelchair-bound fans! It was really moving and made me feel like we are actually doing a service to the world and especially to the disabled/handicapped community by writing and performing songs that they can relate to and sing along to. In about two months or so, we should be playing at a retirement home in Spokane, Washington so keep an eye out for that one!
