Current mood: grateful
I'm back. Yeah, yeah I suck at this blogging thing. haha Just got off a two and a half month tour with Cipes and the People, Salvador Santana Band and B Side Players. It was called the "Fire in the Youth" tour and we went all across the states spreading Latin, Reggae, Salsa, hip-hop and the occasional rock vibes to the people. Had lots of fun, made some good friends, saw the country, and had the chance to do what I love. Next up... updating this page with photos and new music over the next couple of months (smile) Lots of love! Tracy

Current mood: busy
Hey...yeah I know it's been a minute..again. I have to say I really admire Stayce Branche who manages to post about a blog a day and very interesting ones at that...I'm working on it (smile) I have been spending a lot of time gigging with Dhuum Machale and it's been great getting to know the band and creating whatever we feel that day. Check out www.myspace.com/dhuummachale if you have a moment. We will be starting up again in March. Besides that I have been busy, recording at "chez de skillz" in other words my living room hahaha, trying to learn Logic, Photoshop, Reason, Pro-tools, and any other program that enables me to get the music out of of my head. I have decided that I have a love hate relationship with technology, by the time I figure out how to get the sound that I am looking for, I can't remember why I needed it. Ahh well...the more you do it, the better you will become at it right? I posted a few new songs, a few new pictures and getting ready to start gigging with my own band so please stay tuned! Hope all is lovely in your world or worlds or should I say our world? You know what I'm sayin...(smile) until the next T

Hello, yes it's been awhile...(smile) Over the past couple of months I have been traveling singing back up for different artists which has been a great experience. It has been really cool to be able to see the country and also be fortunate enough to do what I love which is performing. In between gigs I have been rehearsing with a new band called Dhuum Machale. It means "joyful sound" in hindi. The music is a mixture of funk, soul, afro beat, latin etc... just an all around jam band with a good vibe and we can't wait to start gigging next month. Please check out our page when you have a moment it's www.myspace.com/dhuummachale or you can click the link under my top friends. Thanks so much!!! love t

I just wanted to thank you guys for coming out to my first gig here in LA. I had a great time trying out new music and I hope you enjoyed our brief set. My fellow band members did an excelllent job of learning the music pretty quickly and I hope they know how appreciative I am of their time and talent. Next time we will definitely play longer..hahaha When Ian asked us for an encore I realized we didn't really have one so I didn't know what to say other than...uh no thanks hahaha. Sorry about that. I am getting ready to go out for some spot dates with Vanessa and Heather and as soon as I get back I am planning another show. So please check back soon thanks t

Hey everyone. Back in LA. Ahh the Sunshine....lovely! I Had a great time on the road with Heather and the band they are the coolest group of people you will ever meet. I have great memories and if any of yall check this out, I think we should all meet up for dinner a little reunion....maybe some mac and cheese and chicken hahaha. We went all over the country in a period of 5 weeks and I hope some of you got to check it out cuz she was singin her face off. I think the tour will be aired on direct tv at some point. I also had the pleasure of meeting and enjoying the music of Van Hunt and Anthony Hamilton every night while we were on the road. They are both talented musicians, artists and extemely down to earth. I was inspired nightly. Matter of fact I checked out Van Hunt and Nikka Costa the other night at the House of Blues and it was nicety nice and lovely to see some creativity up there. Nikka Costa is at least 8 months pregnant and sang and danced hard. I mean hard, hard, I was afraid any minute she was going to pop that baby out and keep on singin, cuz she probably could with that voice. Check em out if they are in your city. So next up for me is a gig here in LA playing my own music. I figure the best way to promote my music as a songwriter is to let people check it out soooo here we go. It's gonna be a mix of stuff. I hope some of you can make it. I will post more details about it later. Allrighty then thanks for stopping by T
