Big doings on the band front ... we're wrapping up our new CD and will hopefully have it out before the fall. It'll feature seven of our old favorites, but we're also working up new material, a lot of it featuring Trent Moody, our newest Strag.
Also, the band voted to change our name to Woody & the Stragglers to avoid confusion with Oklahoma honky-tonkers Jason Boland & the Stragglers. While i'm truly honored, the spirit of the band will remain the same, and i won't be buying any Spandex pants! We hope you can make it out to some of our shows — this may be the strongest Strag lineup yet, and we're having fun with it!

We're tickled to death to have Trent Moody playing keyboards and guitar with us! I've been remiss in not announcing this earlier — he's been with the band for months now. * Trent stepped up when Greg retired from bar gigging ... he's been in the Moody Brothers band most of his life (including a long stint at EuroDisney) and he's a musician's musician. Yeah baby! Thanks to him, we're gathering new steam. Come out to one of our shows and you'll see what i mean!
