how ya all doing?

Brazil is a blast, lazing around surfing,watching cool music, saw joe(bass player) ,it was great to see him and hes going to show me around, we are hitting the town tomo nite yaya, yeasterday i went to a shopping mall and this girl was kickin ass on a bass guitar in a music shop with an equally awesome lead guitarist and drummer,so i was watching with a big smile on my face cause they rocked and the owner of the shop asked if i could do anything so i sang with them tthru a mic and played some guitar for about 1 hour, it was rockin and sounded so good, so gonna check out her band tomoroo nite, so cool fun....the surf is great over here really nice and solid, been reading heaps, read a book on john lennon by his ex wife which was really cool, reading scar tissue now by anthiony keides, its great, hes a real ratbag....
this place is heaps like indo eh.....very festive,

Theres monkeys in the trees and heaps of indo like fences with glass all on it. Saw a favela which is a poor area where 250000 people all build houses on about 11 acres of land,normally a hill...its all stacked up together like sardines in a can, just nuts...too dangerous to walk in there on your own....im going to do samba drumming classes soon in one, so that will be interesting eh!!

I have booked the Coorabell Hall (Byron Hills,Coolamon Scenic Drive)
for a mini festival to promote the abundance of female talent in this area, for Saturday 6th January ,
2pm- 1am.
I hope that by bringing everyone together we will help strengthen the independent music scene and inspire each other.

The event will be called Meow to the Moon

Well it seems inevitable that this band had to come about....i'm the guitarist, Julz Ellen is the singer, Natalie Gay is the drummer and Fuzz is our bass player.... All our songs are about sex! It's fucken hilarious i must say....consider us a cross between the yeah yeah yeahs and g love & special sauce...but more spicy!!! COme and watch us strut our girl power on thurs 14th September at the Great Northern Hotel Byron Bay...
