Hello there myspace pals.
Just wanted to let you all know that I have a new release up on iTunes. It's "Songs from Lynchland Volume 3". This album covers the songs from the last 4 episodes, I believe. (two of which were all music episodes). So check it out if you have time and if you like one of the songs on there leave me some positive feedback on iTunes. Even if you don't buy anything. It helps.

I apologize for the lack of Lynchland episodes. I've been working a big job since late January and it's been 24/7. I just haven't had any spare time at all. I promise I haven't stopped making them and honestly, I'm excited to make another episode, it just may be a few months before I get to. This current job is doing a ton of video work and my computers are panting from the amount of rendering that has been going on.

Lastly, if you're on twitter, feel free to follow me. I usually write at least something
once a day on there... sometimes way too much on certain days. My twitter name is
"Lynchland".

thanks,
liam

Hello friends,
I keep getting dozens of emails and messages from people trying to find me on Twitter.
Although Twitter isn't really my thing, I noticed other Liam Lynch's on twitter and didn't
want folks to be following someone thinking it was me. So I created an official Twitter account.
I can't promise I'll be updating you about every peanut butter and jelly sandwich I eat, but
my real twitter account, like myspace, is "Lynchland". So feel free to follow. I'm not sure
how attached I will get to the site or program... but at least you know it will be me and not
someone else with the same name or posing as me.

thanks.

Current mood:  dorky
Hello,
I just wanted to take a second to write everyone and say hi.
hi.
I realize I haven't had a Lynchland in a few months now. This is not because I have stopped Lynchland... I've just been working on stuff for other people. I plan on doing
a Viewer Mail episode soon and possibly share some of the stuff I've been making.
Mainly, I've been having to pay the bills so that I can have the luxury to once again
get back to making Lynchland episodes. So I've been working on projects with friends
and drumming up jobs for the near future. I have had about 3 or 4 episode ideas
in the meantime and it's been frustrating not having the time to see them through.
Even while working on projects for other people, I'm still making elements and
animations that I will use in these future episodes (just to feel like I'm still working
on Lynchland episodes).
So hello there everyone. Promise to get a viewer mail out there soon so send me your questions if you have any to questions@liamlynch.net

these last few days I've been kind of sick at home. just a sinus/cold thing...
so I'm waiting to get back to my old self before shooting a new viewer mail.
Thank god SO MANY incredible xbox 360 games have come out recently.
It's kind of a golden age for gamers right now. I have been playing and loving
a game called Fallout 3. I was really surprised and pleased to find Sifl and Olly
references buried deep in the game. Quotes from the song "Llama school"
and a computer terminal password that was "Vicious Coy"... now THAT is an
obscure reference that I'm sure went right by about 99% of those who found it.
crazy. I love this game so much and had been playing for so long... they already
had my full attention and excitement... then I find out someone over there at
the game company must be a Sifl and Olly fan. too cool.
Other games that I've been enjoying during my crappy cold are: Mirror's Edge,
Left 4 Dead, Dead Space and Gears of War 2.
All great games and totally different experiences.

Besides working on stuff for friends(eagles of death metal, queens of the stone age,
and spinnerette), I also have been working on a theme song for a disney cartoon,
having meetings about a script I wrote, slightly trying to get lynchland on TV and
GARDENING actually....
bizarre... but I have a garden at my house now and it's kind of blowing my mind.
I've been growing cat nip as one of the many things in the garden... and the catnip
must be the chronic or something... I feel like I'm growing pot. I'm picking buds off
these catnip plants and bringing them in for my cats. Only two of my cats are really into cat nip... Chicken and Finnegan (who are boyfriend and girlfriend now... the most bizarre awkward cat couple maybe ever... a hairless sphinx and a clone).
I put down the catnip and they get so wasted that it's hilarious. Just totally wasted on
homegrown catnip. I highly suggest trying it if you have cats. Catnip is basically a weed and you could do nothing to kill it. Just water it a bunch and soon it's gigantic. it's even attracted some of the neighborhood cats into the yard.

I hope everyone is doing well and for those in the US, that you'll have a happy thanksgiving. I haven't really celebrated thanks giving in years and years, since living in England... also, as far as an american holiday... I didn't have anything to be thankful for... but this year, North America and the WORLD has something to be thankful for. The first decent president we've had in a long time. Thank you to anyone that voted for Barrack Obama. How amazing was that election day and that speech? It brought tears to my eyes. It was such a moving historic moment. It felt like hope. I think the world could use some right now. Barrack Obama has actually given me back something that I felt was stolen from me by George Bush. American dignity? I'm not sure but oddly I even have had dreams where I get to meet Barrack Obama. They aren't buddy buddy dreams... they've been realistic. Like, getting to meet him and shake his hand after a speech or at a lecture or something. So weird. Never in my life have I ever had a dream about a president. He's got a lot of hard work ahead of him cleaning up the mess the Bush party made of this country and world... but I know he's going to have great people working with him. I can honestly say I believe in him and support what he stands for... that's a new feeling. I can't wait for things to start getting better... it's not just political or economic... it's more about just the general mood of people and how they treat each other. It's really great to see so many Americans actually agree on something and the world agree with them. I guess it made me super happy to
just see all that agreement and happiness. I felt like foreign countries were proud of us too. so weird.

well, I've rambled enough.
Hello everyone. I'll make a viewer mail soon and a new lynchland (which
I've already got planned in my head) as soon as I can.

take care,
liam

Hello there everyone,
Just wanted you all to know, that there is a guy using myspace and other sites to sell his own copies of Sifl and Olly. These are not from me and noone that worked on the show has anything to do with it. He's breaking the law and cashing in selling things he didn't make or own and doesn't have the rights to. The myspace page is http://www.myspace.com/siflandollydvds
Do not buy these. They will be of poor quality, taken from taped episodes from television. there will be no extras or commentary and worst of all, he's pocketing the cash.
Yes, Sifl and Olly DVDS are beyond overdue, but it's not this dudes place to be selling them or making money. I don't care if the price just covers his time and costs... I wouldn't make copies of my Beatles albums and make up a "box set" and set up an online store. It's ridiculous.
If this guy really wanted to support sifl and olly fans, he'd put all the episodes up on youtube or
on a server somewhere and offer them to everyone for free. I'd rather they be out there and being enjoyed for free than have this twat taking your money for stuff I spent 5 years working my ass off to make and get on TV.
So, please don't support this dudes evil doing. They will be horrible quality and not from us.
this has been a public service announcement.

love,
liam (olly)

vids or this episode, feel free to send them to questions@liamlynch.net

Hello there everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that there is a new Viewer Mail episode up on www.liamlynch.net.
Viewer Mail 10 has a variety of things unlike other viewer mail episode... so check it out.
I've started making the next Lynchland episode now and it will be an all music episode like Lynchland 19. I got a lot of great responses from 19, so I thought I'd do another. After the epic saga of episode 20, I need to make some short videos that are all different (rather than a 45 minute long single story). I'm looking forward to it. There will also be a few more new videos for songs from "Get Up On The Raft".

Hope everyone is doing well and if you get a chance, check out the new Viewer Mail.

thanks,
liam

NEW ALBUMS AVAILABLE!

Two new Liam Lynch albums are now available for the first time on iTunes and other music download
sites.

One release, "We're All-Nighters" is from 2002. It's an interesting album and the video for the title song "We're All-Nighters" has appeared on Liam's podcast, "Lynchland". The album is quite a deal on itunes. There are 21 tracks on this release.

The second is the brand new Liam Lynch release, "Get Up On The Raft". This is a digital only release and several videos for songs from this album have appeared in recent Lynchland episodes. The songs "Get Up On The Raft" and "Things Have Changed" appear in Lynchland Episode 19. The song "I'm Not Ready" appears at the end of Lynchland Episode 15.

Since the new album, "Get Up On The Raft" is a digital release, you can find the lyrics to the entire album, free of charge, right on the front page of www.liamlynch.net
You will see this news item and a link that will give you a .pdf file of the lyrics. Just click on the link.

So go check them out. Two new digital releases... one old, one new. 36 new songs on itunes and other download sites.

thanks!

Hello there,
well, FINALLY... episode 20 is now finished and up on my site...
www.liamlynch.net

click the word "podcasts" on the home page.

All you need is a recent version of Quicktime player to view the episode. I suggest downloading
the whole episode first then watching it later with out the constant stops and starts of
varying internet download speeds. So put it on to download before you go to bed and
there will be some fun waiting for you when you get up. (not that the download will
take all night... )

For you iTunes users... check your iTunes Tuesday or Wednesday... iTunes is always
a day or two behind in showing the episodes as I post them.

Thanks for waiting. I hope you guys enjoy this one. It’s a weird one... he he he..
lots of friends in this episode as well.

thanks! Let me know if you like it!

Liam
