Following the out-right success of last Saturday's Demo, here's the full details of our next one! Join us if possible!!!

Saturday 8th March. Meet 11am on Kemp Town beach (Volks Railway half-way station). Leave there at 11.30 for Brighton Pier and then on to Brighton Town Hall.

This is our last opportunity to raise awareness before our petition has to be handed in on 13th March!!!!

I'm hoping for a large turn out (please all pray for fine weather!!!) and hopefully the TV will turn up this time! Maybe Zoe Ball will join us? Maybe thats just wishful thinking!!!

Argh!!!!

During the short time the Barking Mad Campaign has been working to galvanise support in opposing these ridiculous proposals, I have been suprised at how few of the hundreds we have spoken to had even heard of them. Indeed, several local Councillors were totally unware!

Not that suprising if you visit the Council's website. Its not listed under Current Consultations. The proposals have been omitted from the on-line version of City News. Not that the magazine delivered to our doors was much clearer! "Help us become a more Dog Friendly City" it shouts. A graphic of a cute little doggy in a pink heart shape. Outrageous! Are they taking the piss or what?

And if you search their website & type anything relevant like 'dog ban', 'dog restrictions' or 'dog proposals' into the sites search engine..... you get absolutely NO RESULTS FOUND!

This is scandalous! I'm totally amazed at their incompetance and lack of diligence!

I will of course include this arguement in my statement to the Council as another good reason why they should scrap these stupid, unjust and unfair proposals!!!
