Two of Canada's finest guitar pickers, Joey Wright and Christine Bougie, come together to form the Telecaster super group TUXEDO! Joey plays a white on white tele' and sports a black tux, while Christine rocks a black on black ax and dons a white three piece suit. Joined by Keiran Adams on drums and Paul Mathew on bass (Kick and Push, as they are more frequently known), the band enters a musical realm best desribed as: “Bob Wills on the Space Station”, “Les Paul kissing Buddy Emmons” or “Jimmy Bryant's family reunion”. Only the second show the group has ever performed in Toronto, this night at The Cadillac Lounge promises to be a highlight of the holiday season, with guest appearances by local legends, Melwood Cutlery and Helen Stewart. If the first TUXEDO! show is any indication, the unannounced guests are guaranteed to be genuinely special.
