Friends and fans … as you may have noticed, we’ve been updating Rafael Moreira’s MySpace page in preparation for some interesting things to come back-half of this year!  Many of you know Rafael as an eclectic artist and accomplished performer, and our hope is to provide a page that will allow fans to follow his variety of endeavors – in particular his latest project, Magnetico.  For those of you on Facebook, we’ve just released a new Artist Page for “Rafael Moreira / Magnetico” which can be found here: New Facebook Rafael Moreira / Magnetico Artist Page ... we hope that you’ll check it out and become a fan there as well, as we welcome your support!

We will be updating both pages periodically with information, music, video clips, photos and links for fans.  A particular note to our fans in colleges and schools across the nation – Rafael, Magnetico and the advisory team are big supporters of music programs for students.  We’ll be paying particular attention to the fan base on the Facebook page (easier to track), and if any colleges or schools show noteworthy support for Rafael and Magnetico, we’ll do what we can to present a performance somewhere nearby or on campus if possible (at affordable student ticket pricing).  We look forward to seeing you and your friends on here, Facebook and on the road!

Here are a few additional updates:

- Magnetico’s new CD release “Songs About The World” – featuring Rafael on both lead vocals and guitar – is now available on Amazon.com and CD Baby (links on this Page).  The digital release of the CD on iTunes and other digital distributors will occur over summer 2009 in conjunction with a few other events.  But if you don’t want to wait, you can buy the CD now!
- Yes, that was Rafael on American Idol Tuesday May 5^th for “Rock Week” as a feature guitarist with the American Idol House Band.  He’s also been playing a few “unpublicized / un-promoted” shows in preparation for a sponsored Magnetico tour end of the year … and Rafael has always enjoyed performing live!  We’ll be getting him out on the road around the U.S. back-half of the year, but if you’re in the L.A. area you may still catch him playing a few local shows in the meantime.

We appreciate the support of all of the fans who’ve waited patiently for Rafael’s Magnetico CD release!  It’s estimated that 6 – 8 Million viewers tuned in weekly to watch Rockstar: INXS and Rockstar: Supernova for 2 seasons on CBS television, with many folks tuning in particularly for the famed “House Band” and Rafael.  Our thanks to the thousands of fans wanting to support Rafael and see him in action again; we hope to reach everyone we can, so please let your friends know to visit this page and the Facebook page if they want to stay connected to Rafael and Magnetico!
