Autumns Eyes has issued the following update about recording a new album:
"Autumns Eyes has been diligently wrapping up the recording progress for the next album which is currently untitled. The album will include 12 original tracks and a cover of Type O Negative's 'Wolf Moon'. The overall sound and feel of the album is different from previous releases as there is no screaming vocals and all clean singing. The album will be released on Halloween this year, and will also feature a brand new music video to coincide with the next season of Autumns Eyes music."

"With seven albums under his belt and a career that spans ten plus years, the enigmatic “Dan”, sole member of Autumns Eyes, has had time to get his shit together. And together his shit gets during his latest outing, “Surrender The Fire” is release number eight for this one man gothic metal/black ’n’ roll machine and is solid in every sense of the word. Tight guitars that seem to scream and wail for hours on end, screeching/growling vocals that sends a chill through your blood and mystifying waves of dark, brooding energy flow from this twisted creation. (The song Feast Of The Dead, shows off Dan’s crazy talents as a vocalist/programmer the best, in my opinion.) The influence are many and recognizable: Dimmu Borgir, Type O Negative, Satyricon (Rebel Extravaganza era), etc... So yeah, it’s not original, but it’s still one hell of a good time! Remember: Autumns Eyes. A new season in music."
