yeah ... this is free form poetry.... and what....

I found myself today
in the river of the the James
it was telling me my life story
started off calm, no worries
then the obstacles came.

Throwing my soul around
transforming me into a fury of rapids
a piece of me going this way
a piece going that
breaking me up, splitting me apart
dividing me from myself
its seemed as if i was no longer complete

Rushing around the rocks
flow over, go under
slide to the side to make my way
I forgot what it was like to be still
societies current won't allow it
keep moving,
do what i have to do
and go where i need to go
to be where i want to be

...But that's whole

Then I looked ahead
and saw the calm once again
no division, ripples of joy
serenity as I'm moving forward
whole

There will be more troubles ahead
but thats OK
because i looked back and realized
the trials did no divide me
But i absorbed the hardships
and they made me stronger

So I will face the rapids of my story
and move past them with a smile
because nothing can stop
the movement of my life

It can only make me stronger
