Hey Everyone,
I went down to the mentawai Islands in Indonesia last year with Quiksilver and surf aid and was part of a documentary that helps to spread the word on what is happening in these remote areas, especially with Health Care, Nutrition, Town planning and the future. This area was hit by a HUGE earthquake in Sept 06 which moved whole islands and reefs out of the water and was also in the main path of the Tsunami that the whole world heard about.

Im busy preparing for my upcoming college tours in the mid west and east coast, so i hope to see some of you soon there!!! and Im also recording and getting ready for my first full release album, which is going to be out early next year!!!! long time to get it finished and ready but i cant wait to share it with you!!!!!

So I havent really written a blog here... im bad, im sorry... but im now making up for lost time and promise to write much more!!! I promise.
Summer in LA has been perfect, just what i needed... sometimes i find myself dreaming of the clear warm water, sun and beauty of Australia, my home... only to be surrounded by it here too and realise this is my home.. where i really love being, and mainly because of you guys, to write and play music.. Music found me from the beginning i guess.. i remember always waking to my dad playing old vinyl records before a surf and my first guitar at five... not that i really played it all that much then.. just carried it everywhere..
I think my first moment of realizing this was what i wanted to do, and share, and love and pass on was during the first moments of listening to Jeff Buckley, grace, at 16.
I started writing a lot then and once again couldnt go anywhere without my guitar.
I moved to LA last year and have been so embraced by all of you... thank you. Passing on music and playing live are where i really feel i live.. its everything to me... that and my ocean...
every day i wake up and surf, either across the road in venice CA or anywhere the day takes me.. almost 20 years since my dad pushed me into waves on his board when i was three... ive surfed around the world and feel truly at home anywhere in the water..
I know my story is jumping all over the place but i guess not having written im trying to play catch up!!
just wanted to send my love and also update you.... the new songs are written and i love them.. have been playing them live but am only now in the process of recording them soon. Im playing a lot of shows in LA with my full band and touring in southern california.. lining up some cross US tours hopefully soon... and I should be back in Oz touring in dec/jan and maybe back in march...
im really excited about whats happening music wise and cant wait to share it with you all...
guess my next entry will be more to the exact point of something!!!! ill work on it.
