"Faux Pas began her entertainment career in San Francisco in 2004. Since her beginnings, her avant garde performance style has stirred curiosity across the nation. Her innovative work blends piercing, drag and performance to convey personal experience and transgressions of the human heart. You may catch her doing a bed of nails act, eating fire, stilt walking, sewing herself back together or piercing her cheeks with needles on stage, doing pulls and or suspending herself from hooks. Granted, she does this all with a style and finesse that had yet to have ever been seen.
Expect no less than ground breaking high art, intent, originality and grace when Faux Pas hits the stage. In the bay area, accross the nation, and Internationally, you can find her modeling, acting, headlining at clubs, or performing at private parties by herself or with performance art groups Apsara and Datura. Her influences of old world circus and body modification combined with contemporary drag are evolving performance art and the future of the modification movement as we know it.
