Hey guys,
We're afraid to announce that Sam's leaving Turn From Despair, It's only been 4 months with him in the band but we've shared some good times and although we felt we have taken the band forward quite a bit in our sound and friendship, Sam's commitment to teaching and furthering his own guitar knowledge, specifically in the realm of Jazz has caused him to leave.
All who met Sam in his short time as part of the band know's he is a kind honest person as well as a supremely talented guitarist and we wish him all the best.
His final show will be April 26th at The Nags Head, High Wycombe w/Open The Skies.
As for the rest of us, admittedly this has left us downbeat. We need to take a break and regroup to decide what to do. The songs we have started to demo should see light of day pretty soon.
Share your thoughts,
Nick xx

Hey Guys and Gals, Tom here!
I've decided to start giving drum lessons this summer, as it gives me something to do and it would be fun!
If anyone would like to receive drum lessons from me, just comment this blog or message me, or whatever lol
Bit about my drumming:
I've been playing for about 9-ish years now, and had lessons of my own for about 5 of them. Have a listen to the songs to get an idea of my ability. Obviously i will be bias toward playing metal, but im sure i can help you out in various other styles too! To be honest, i don't really pay attention to grades because i've never done them myself, i'm mainly doing this to give people a chance to learn how to play drums basically first, then i'd be able to adapt on that.
The lessons would be held at my house, or if you already have your own drum kit at your own home, i'd be able to teach you in your own home. Whatever you prefer!
The first lesson will be free, as like a free trial sort of thing, then if you want to carry on with the lessons they will run at £3 every half hour. That's pretty good eh? :P
If you are at all interested, let me know by messaging me or whatever and we can talk more about it.
+ Tom +

From the High Wycombe train station, walk out and cross the road around opposite and walk towards the town centre. you should pass marks and spensers and stuff. then at the roundabout near tescos walk on the right side of that big leisure complex thing they're building. on the far side of it there is the newly finished bus station. take a left down bridge street and you should see a pub with 'The Roundabout' above it. Enter and snjoy great music. Great Success! The Roundabout, Brdge Street, High Wycombe later, message if you're still stuck x nick x
