Hey folks,

The new singles are officially out today on Dopamine Records.

You can hear "Rock and Roll Is Dead" and "Caught Up in the Sound" on MySpace. Prep those pleasure centers, pack a lunch, and lay your ears on that aural hoodoo. Wow!

Those two songs -- along with remixes of "Big Black Hole" and "Vanessa's Neck" by Kidwolfman and DJ Die Young -- are now on sale at eMusic. (They should be on Amazon, iTunes, etc. any minute now.)

We're throwing a single release party at Great Scott this Saturday, October 11, and it's going to be "off the chain" and "a great deal of fun." See the flier below for the details.

In other news, we're still plugging away at the double record, Black Honey, which should be done... some day. If you or someone you know wants to invest in an album that's a safer bet than commercial paper, get at us.

We recorded a cover of a song from Air's forthcoming album with our good buddy, engineer extraordinaire Mike Vera at 51 Lions. It's called "One Hell of a Party" and the Village Voice posted it here. You can find the original here. Blap!

Thanks to all the radio stations out there that have supported us so far!!! We are having a great run in the radio world.....

On the CMJ (College Music Journal) charts we were number 1 most added on our add week with 157 reported adds. And we debuted on the chart the next week at number 77, the 2nd highest self-released record on the whole chart. Our peak on the CMJ Top 200 ended up being number 26, the highest self-released record at the time!!

On the FMQB Alternative Specialty Albums chart we were number 22, and 1 of only 2 self-released records on the whole chart!

On the KKBB/UNCLE Alt Specialty charts we are number 9 on the Top 30 and number 8 on the Indie chart!

Hell yeah! Thanks for all the adds/spins/etc to all those in radio-land!
