Folks, I launched my newest, silliest website project this week ... Michele Norris Facts!

The concept is pretty simple: She's the Anti-Chuck.

Find out what I mean and join in the hilarity:
www.MicheleNorrisFacts.com

Hit me back with a comment and let me know what you think. I'm accepting original submissions for future "facts," so send 'em my way.

I'm one of the main organizers of the "Everything Must Change" Tour with Brian McLaren and Friends coming to Area 15 in Charlotte, NC, February 1-2, 2008 (http://www.deepshift.org/charlotte/).

I'm posting this to ask for your help in spreading the word to others who have not yet registered. Here's how you can help:

1) Email family, friends, churches, schools/colleges/universities who would be interested in "Everything Must Change" and encourage them to register:
http://www.eventbrite.com/event/55393684

2) Post the "Everything Must Change - Charlotte" banner on your blog, MySpace, Facebook, etc.:

The event is happening soon, and I'm hoping for an all-out promotional blitz to help get the word out to any and all who would like to come. Thanks for any help you can give to this grassroots marketing effort!

If there's any questions you have about the "Everything Must Change" event here in Charlotte, please don't hesitate to contact me via MySpace.

Shalom,
Steve Knight

There's a great article about MySpace -- and the proliferation of other social networkiing sites -- in Business Week magazine out now (12/12/2005). I haven't finished reading the article yet, but I enjoyed the podcast of the "behind the scenes" on the article, with writer and staff editor Jessi Hempel and executive editor John Byrne. I did a search on MySpace for Jessi, and I found her! So I asked to "add" her as one of my friends (and vice versa, of course). I hope she accepts. I just want to thank her for the article and the good things she had to say on the podcast about security concerns, especially for young kids. Shalom, Steve K.
