In November 2005, Norman Kember, Tom Fox, Harmeet Singh Sooden and James Loney, of the Christian Peacemaker Teams stationed in Baghdad, were kidnapped by Iraqi insurgents.  Not before Tom was murdered at the hands of his captives, the three others were finally freed four months later thanks to a covert British/American operation.  I wrote this song after I heard about the trials and tribulations of the three survivors, reflecting predominantly on the struggles  which they apparently underwent while in captivity, day in, day out, for 118 days.  This is my tribute to their bravery, resilience and hope.  God bless their souls.
