We regret to inform you that Cafe Metropolis has canceled our show that was booked for this Saturday, 11/21. You have all patiently waited for us to return to the area since our tour with Reel Big Fish & Streetlight Manifesto last January and we are just as disappointed as you are about the cancellation. We are going to try our hardest to schedule a make-up date in PA in the near future.

Meanwhile, we just posted a new video from this year's Annual Big D & the Kids Table Halloween show in Boston. Hope you like it!

Tip The Van

Hello, hello!

This week we've been gearing up for a huge Halloween weekend! We're all getting ready to be a part of the Annual Big D Halloween show on Friday 10/30 at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston! Simone and Nicole have spent most of their week up in Boston with Big D, rehearsing to make a bold return as the Doped Up Dollies for both Thursday night and Friday night's Big D Halloween shows. After the mayhem on Friday, Tip The Van will be traveling up to Syracuse to play another Halloween show with The Toasters at Funk 'n Waffles. Very exciting! Hope to see you there!!

Before Simone & Nicole went on Warped Tour with Big D & The Kids Table this summer, Tip The Van spent countless hours working with our mastermind Seth Torres at the infamous WERS studio at Emerson College in Boston to remix our new EP, "Passion, Love & Pride"

Most of you may know this, but if not, here's a little background info. All summer at the Warped Tour, Simone has been riding around on a sweet scooter with a Flip Video Camera screwed onto her helmet. She wears a tee shirt that says Tip The Van Scooter Cam and rides around talking to people at Warped Tour, saying hi, interviewing and checking out bands. It's pretty awesome. She's been posting videos ALL summer (http://www.youtube.com/tipthevan) and has become a part of the Warped Tour phenomenon - people are actually looking for her!

Oddly enough, Flip Video has ALSO been following the Warped Tour and when they discovered Simone, well, it was destiny. See the video below, sponsored on the MySpace homepage from Flip Video where Simone, her Scooter Cam AND Tip The Van get an awesome mention! Fast forward through to 2:53.

Toronto is awesome! The border control getting into Canada was cool with us and didn't give the Big D crew too much trouble.  We are having a signing at 5:00 giving away Derek's drum snare head from the show!

Today in Cleveland, the girls of Tip the Van kicked ass on stage today with Big D! The best part of the day, was getting positive feedback from other respectable musicians on the tour. Flogging Molly played today an rocked the crowds faces. Sharing the stage with FM was Paramore! In 2005, Tip the Van and Paramore shared the same stage called the Shira Girl stage. It was awesome to watch them perform again with thousands of people in the audience. Xoxo -Simone ttv
