As I sit here on this beautiful spring afternoon, I realize how much I have to be thankful for.  I've always known, but it really seems profound today for some reason.  Life doesn't always go the way we want it to, but we do have the power to change it.   I've learned so much about positive and negative energies and how they affect me, and I now know that in order to maintain a positive outlook on life, you have to get rid of, or keep at a far distance, those with negative energy and vibes.  These people are weeds in your garden and must be pulled immediately - or nipped at the bud, otherwise they will overtake your garden and smother all your flowers and veggies and herbs.  Every day you must check for the first signs of weeds, and get rid of them before they get rid of you and your positive outlook.  I've come such a long way in the last 10 years especially, and wish I knew 1/4 of what I know now, back when I was in my 20's, enduring emotional abuse and internal torture - much due to my own insecurities and stupidity.  Oh well, I'm still here, alive and well, and living to tell you all about it.  Peace.

We performed this today on the roof of 1019 Commerce. This was the old 60's hippy hangout on Allen's Landing in Houston, Texas. Today is the 40th anniversary of the Beatles legendary last performance together on the roof of 3 Saville Row in London.

Yeah, yeah, I know I don't send blogs very often, but I'm gonna start doing better. 

I'm pretty busy most of the time and don't get to check my MySpace page as often as I'd like to.  When I do and take the time to visit other peeps' sites, and invite peeps to be my friends, it's annoying as HELL when you get this message that says:  "So and So doesn't accept friend requests from BANDS."!  What is up with this crap, huh?   These are people who I found on Band pages as friends of other bands!  I wish MySpace would create an option to "not accept friend requests from people who don't accept friend requests from bands."  Does that make sense?  It does to me.  That's just ignorant.  Isn't it all about friends - making new ones and keeping in touch with old ones?   So what's the big deal?  Ok, I'm better now that I got it off my chest.  Thanks for being my friends and Janis' friends.
