West Up. We're back with another exclusive interview, this time with Inglewood representative 211 aka 2Eleven Tha Bizness. We caught up with the CTE/USDA rapper this past week (Tuesday Sept. 29, 2009) for an in-depth phone interview where we discussed the latest from CTE and USDA, Bloods and Crips working together, his relationship with former CTE rapper Roccett, LA's image, skinny jeans and much more!

211 just dropped a new CD called "I Robbed Hip Hop" (download here) earlier this year with DJ Ill Will and DJ RockStar and he also discusses the feedback it's gotten, what's next for him, the Bay Area and many other topics. We have the interview available in both audio and text format for you below, along with a preview commercial.

West Up. We've been bringing you a steady stream of updates from Bay Area star Big Rich this year, from the announcement of his latest album "Heart of the City" to his music videos getting spins on MTV, collabs with fellow Bay artists like Balance, Kaz Kyzah and others to the eventual release of "Heart of the City, we've kept in touch with Rich and covered his movement. Most recently we put up a free download from Los Angeles group and 3-Story gang reps Pro City called "All or Nothing" that was presented by Rich.

With the promotion and release of "Heart of the City" just one of the many things Rich has had on his schedule for 2009 and beyond, it's safe to say he's been very busy this year. We caught up with Rich for an exclusive, in-depth interview this past Tuesday, September 15th and talked to him about a variety of different topics.

No stranger to the site, Rich spoke candidly with WestCoastRydaz about the time difference between the release of the new album and his solo debut "Block Tested, Hood Approved" in 2006 as well as opened up about his maturity as an artist, Bay Area unity, bridging the gap between Northern and Southern Cali and much much more. In addition to the exclusive interview, we also have a preview commercial plus 2 new music videos that Rich recorded from the new album, all of which can be found below. So check it out and make sure to spread the word!

West Up. Just last week we brought you the exclusive first part (click here to watch) of our 3-part Nipsey Hussle video interview and now we're back with parts 2 and 3.

Part 1 focused on how growing up in South Central influenced his music, the contrasts between music industry hardships and street life, as well as gave the world it's first look at the cover for his highly anticipated "Bullets Ain't Got No Name 3" mixtape. We told y'all we were going to give everyone a complete look into Nipsey the artist and Nipsey the man and in parts 2 and 3 we take a much deeper perspective into both.

Part 2 explores more details about his upcoming solo debut "South Central State of Mind" as Nipsey tells us which artists are featured, who produced on it and the sound he's looking to create with it. He also talks about interacting with his fans and who he'd like to work with in the future.

Part 3 wraps up the interview with Nipsey going into depth about the rising California effort between artists like himself, Jay Rock, G.Malone and others to unify Bloods, Crips and other "have-nots" through technology, hard work and music. He also talks about whether he'd like to take up acting and shares some very sincere and insightful advice for all other aspiring artists and entrepreneurs.

Part 1 has had a great reception and we know y'all will enjoy the final two parts just as much, if not more, so check them both out below and spread the word!

West Up. We’re excited to present y’all with a brand new exclusive video interview with South Central artist Nipsey Hussle. By now you should definitely know about Nipsey and his music, since he’s one of the biggest buzzing up and comers out today. Whether through his features on the LAX tour with fellow Cali MC’s the Game and Jay Rock or through his popular music videos and appearances on major sites like WorldStarHipHop.com, Nipsey has been damn near everywhere.

Which brings us to this interview; we’ve all seen Nipsey grinding everywhere promoting his music and brand for a minute now, but there haven’t been too many glimpses into the more complete profile of Nipsey as not only an artist, but as a man.

We caught up with him this past Thursday (July 2, 2009) on the set of a new movie with world-renowned actor Ving Rhames and sat down for an in-depth 3-part video interview.

Holding nothing back, Nipsey talked with us about a variety of subjects, from his personal transformation out of the bottom and toward the top to his thoughts on Bloods and Crips coming together to make money, his new projects, upcoming major label debut and much more! We ended up getting so many gems from Nipsey that we had to break the interview up into three parts, part 1 of which is available today!
