Ok, I need the opinion of the free world. I kinda like the song "Let it Rock" by Kevin Rudolf.......personally I think this will turn out to be the guys only hit, and the part with Little Wayne in it is terrible, but despite all that I still like the song enough to put it on my little MP3 player I take to work to listen to during the day. So what I need to hear from you is if you agree with me if it is a good song or not. Please leave your answer for it you dig the song (Love it) or hate it (Shove it) Your opinion matters......sort of. ..

Current mood: grumpy
Look I admit, I don't watch the most wholesome family entertainment, but I can't seem to fathom what the attraction is to all these dumbass shows on VH1 and MTV is.
Allow me to list all the crap I have forced upon me on some nights by my lovely girlfriend.
Rock of Love Charm School Paris Hilton's BFF Double Shot at Love Parental Control Next My Super Sweet 16 I Love Money
I am not even going to get into the Disney Channel shit she loves too. Its craptacular.
Now I do watch a lot of sports, probably too much if thats even possible, but I think most people will agree that sports produce more action-drama-suspense than a house full of 15 women who need to be "trained" how to act properly by Sharon Osbourne of all people.
I guess the point of this is, I dont get it, what about these shows is so damn entertaining to watch that they keep on making them. Please, someone enlighten me.

So last night whilst I was sleeping some punk breaks into my car. They open up every single compartment I have and throw the contents inside all over the place, and then whomever does so decides to commit the biggest sin of all, he/she ganks my satellite radio from my car.
So now because my insurance company has decided to not cover my loss I have to go out of pocket because some guy needed my radio to go pawn off for $20 somewhere so he/she can go satisfy their drug habit.
Just in case whomever did this happens to read this little message, I hope you, your family, and your next generation of family all catch a healthy dose of STD's from various clients of yours for the rest of your hopefully small and petty lives. Go fuck yourself!

Well, not really to a tremendous degree. This is from the Maryland-NC State football game a few years ago in Raleigh, NC. Nick Novak makes a FG that basically wins the game for the Terps and the camera cuts to the band playing the Terps Victory song. With 32 seconds left in the video you see this loser dressed in red in the bottom left corner of the picture, thats me. Its not all too exciting, but hey im there.

No, im not buying a House or anything, but this is a slight tidbit from my favorite TV Show House M.D.
Season 4 starts in almost 1 month (The week of my birthday) I hope all the regular cast and crew are coming back.
Two of those cast members in question, Jennifer Morrison and Jesse Spencer broke off their engagement but have both said that they are "looking forward to work together still" so I guess they are coming back.
And if you havent watched House yet DO IT! Its the best hospital themed show out there, dont get me started on Grey's Anatomy........seriously.

Current mood: refreshed
I cant believe it, I have so many great things to be writing about at the moment, but I cant seem to put the words together.
I have a great girlfriend now who I have been fortunate to find so quickly and to have had damn near everything go so well for us is just fantastic, someone somewhere must be looking out for me right now. For the first time in a while, I feel truly blessed!
Im going to the gym more often now, which is good considering I still eat probably the worst types of food out there to eat, so I need to work out more to keep from looking like Big Ed at work.......
Sports stink right about now, my Capitals are going to miss the playoffs again, which im fine with, this is the 2nd of my 2 year grace period in their rebuilding process, next year they had better be back in the playoffs though.
The Terps mens team got back to the big dance, but because they cant shoot free throws they lose in the second round to Butler. The Terps probably wouldve gotten crushed by Florida in the Sweet 16, but hey I wouldve liked to of at least see them lose to the defending champs rather then some small school from Indiana.
Its almost baseball season, which for us Baltimore Orioles fans means that we will be counting down til football season after about late april. I want to get excited about the Orioles so badly but with them being in the same division as the Red Sox and Yankees, two teams that just spend HEINOUS (and I realize the O's spend a decent amount too) amounts of money for talent it just seems to be that the O's-Blue Jays and Devil Rays are destined to always battle it out for 3rd place in the division every year. Baseball needs to find a way to make it more even. That is why the NFL is so popular because the playing field is so much more even. Every team always seems to have a glimmer of hope. That being said, im sure I will still drag myself out to Camden Yards at least 10 times this year, because I am a sucker for punishment. Go O's!

Current mood: okay
You know, im not really the biggest music fan in the world, but I like the Police, which is why I wanted to watch the Grammy's. At least the beginning of them when the Police opened the show.
So the Police opened playing Roxanne which is a good song to listen to, I probably would of gone with Message in a Bottle, but Roxanne was sufficient. So after about 4 minutes of bliss I decide to try and rough it and watch the rest of the Grammy's.
I thought it was a good night for Mary J Blige, im not an ultra fan of her work, but the song that she performed live was hands down the best performance of the night. If memory serves me right she took home two Grammy's for her work and im ok with that.
What I wasnt ok with is the Dixie Chicks. Im not getting political here, they have the right to their own opinion on what they believe in, and thats fine and all. But for them to take home BEST ALBUM of the year when they only have 1 playable song on their whole album is absurd. And Natalie Maines has a gigantic head (and this is coming from a guy who also has a gigantic head) and that rug on her head made it stand out even more.
So who should of won? I guess I was kinda pulling for John Mayer or Mary J Blige. At least their albums have more then 1 song playing on the radio constantly.
Justin Timberlake didnt win anything (sorry ladies), yet he got to perform TWICE?!?!?! How is that any good. I would of been fine with them letting Tony Bennett and Stevie Wonder sing once (who also won by the way).
I missed Shakira and Wyclef Jean perform, ive only heard "My Hips Dont Lie" about 500 times this week alone. Boyitz told me it was hot.......by it he meant Shakira's ass. Maybe ill youtube it or something.
Carrie Underwood won Best New Artist, but then instead of having her sing one of her songs, her and Rascal Flatts got to go and sing songs by the Eagles, which was fine, but since Don Henley was there, why not let him go up and sing too? That one made me scratch my head a little.
Anyways, if I had to rate the Grammy's this year id give it a 3 out of 5 stars. Simply disappointing that the Dixie Chicks have the Album of the Year. Justin Timberlake didnt need to perform twice, im sorry.
I hate watching award shows, but this wasnt sheer torture. Couldve been worse I suppose.

Current mood: content
Wow, what a great last few couple of weeks. A lot of positive things have been going on recently which have completely overthrown the negatives.
Starting with the only negative that I can think of right now. I was denied getting into the BWI Airport Fire Department. Im not upset or bitter. I know the odds are against me with only 5 or 6 people getting hired out of a group of 80 or so people. I was happy with how I did on my physical test, but obviously there were better cantidates in the eyes of the people that are making the hire. I wont give up, im sure that if I work hard enough, ill get rewarded one of these times.
Also im going to have to start looking for a place to live in the near future. Being holed up at my grandparents old house is nice, but I realize that sometime this year its going to be put up for sale, and now I need to find the right place to live, probably should start looking for possible rommates too.
Ive actually got back to playing a tiny bit of hockey, I feel guilty though because ive been mooching off of some of my teammates in order to play, but they have assured me that they are fine with it. Apparently I can still play a little bit, ive had a couple goals in my few games, good to see I dont totally suck.
Last Saturday, I did the Polar Bear plunge down at Sandy Point. What an event that has turned out to be. There were a little over 8,000 people plunging and over $2 million was raised for the Maryland chapter of the Special Olympics. Its good to see that despite all the negativity that is pushed in the news around this state, that there are still plenty of good people out there who would be willing to jump into barely above freezing water for a good cause. I raised $110 myself which was $60 over what my goal was set at, so I was happy enough with that.

Current mood: okay
Thursday night I got invited to come play hockey with the Piranhas again because a lot of the regulars were going to be missing because of the holidays. How quickly did it take for me to realize that I could no longer do what I used to be able to 5 years ago? About 5 minutes.
Now we were short on people, we only had 3 subs to change out with during the game and the other team had a full bench, but still I wasnt able to go nearly fast or as long as I used to be able to, and that depresses me because I am only 25 years old and I feel like im 50.
That being said I also scored two of our goals and we won 5-4, BUT STILL after the game I felt beaten up, sore, and tired. If im doing all this whining now, wait til im 30......

Current mood: ecstatic
If you read my bulletin the other day, then you know I got to play a game this morning at the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. What an experience, its not everyday that you get to play a game you love inside on its BIGGEST local stage.
Yes, there were only about 35-40 people watching the game, but that's not the point, the point is that I got to go out there and simply play a game for free.
No, I didnt score but I had a nice assist setting up our second goal of the day, and that was exciting enough for me. I also took two penalties so I became real familiar with the penalty box which isnt such a good thing, but you couldnt really dampen my spirits right now. Im a little tired but equally still pumped up.
This is turning out to be a pretty good weekend so far, hope this little date thing I have going on tonight doesnt bomb too badly.....knock on wood!
