Recorded by engineer by Kurt Ballou at God City Studios, "True Nihilist" is The Hope Conspiracy's latest, and possibly greatest, recorded effort to date. From the first seconds of opener "In The Shadow Of God", it is apparent that something wicked has awoken. With a rhythm section sounding like the beating heart of an animal about to pounce on its tender prey, the electricity they collectively create hangs in the air throughout the release. Making hairs stand on end before bursting out with their now trademark rage and intensity. Shockingly violent, this inhuman pace continues through the next ripper "Greed Taught...", until the epic closer "Dismal Tide" crashes down as emotional debris from the fury. All in all, the three masterful tracks that make up "True Nihilist" are The Hope Conspiracy in true form, truly untamable. Silencing the naysayers, this beast is back.

Adam Patterson:
"I never told you guys "thank you" for not continuing on without me and playing gay music like Metro Station or going some horrible direction because when people wonder what I did between the years of 1999 and 2001 I don't want to be embarrassed that I was a part of a band that is a disgrace to music. Instead you guys always make me proud to say I was once in a band which still kicks ass."
For those of you who were in Chicago on May 1st (and at our show, not just in the city) you were lucky enough to see Adam play live for the first time since September 2001. He played the end half of "Escapist" (which was written in Dan Zimmermans bedroom, amps, drums, PA and all) and broke 3 sticks in 30 seconds. You can't tame that beast.
In response to this, Adam also had this to say:
"...and tell Jared thanks for letting me play on Escapist."
What a guy, can't wait til he gets his hands on "True Nihilist", coming out sometime.
