Current mood:  relaxed
Hi, after an extremely busy period promoting the first single and album, it looks like I’m going to have a quieter time of it for the next week or so before I start the house tour in April. I’m using this time to work on some new songs and do some acoustic demos of them. It’s good to get back to writing, I’m really excited about the new collection of songs that I have. I feel they are a real step forward in terms of my writing.

As mentioned the house tour kicks off in April, more info coming soon and then we will be following up with a new single. So busy times ahead for me I’m sure...

Laters,

Mark Timothy.

Hi, well we are currently in the throes of organising the house tour, I hope to be able to announce more about it and some specific dates for the public shows soon. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has entered, it should be great fun playing some of the unusual places you have suggested.

Finally this week I had a chance to get to HMV, the HMV in question was Piccadilly Circus, and see my album on the rack. I was next to Pete Townsend!!! It was a real thrill to be on the same shelf as such a legend.

I've now heard that the BBC Humber is to be an acoustic session and interview, which should be fun. It's still being planned but I'll let you know as soon as I know when I'm going to be on. I'm assuming as it's on the BBC even if you can't catch the first time there should be a second opportunity on their listen again service.

TTFN,

Mark Timothy.

Hi, thanks so much to all of you who came down last night and made the Bedford a really excellent show. Unfortunately I've been suffering from a cold, but I think despite this vocally and musically the gig went really well. I saw some familiar face in the audience so thanks for your continued support.

The Bedford is a really special venue to play, you only have to take a look at the wall in the dressing rooms, where previous artists have put up signed posters from their shows at the Bedford, to realise some truly special artists have played there down the years. It's a great venue with a very individual feel and vibe to it. I really enjoyed it.

I'm doing more radio this week, I'm on BBC Bristol just after 4PM tomorrow (Wednesday 20th). And I'm doing an acoustic session for BBC Humber soon, but I'll have to let you know when that one is going to be as it's still being organised.

The house tour competition has now finished so I look forward to playing some unusual shows when the winners are announced.

Catch you soon,

Mark Timothy.

Hi, well it's all go here at Mark Timothy HQ. The album was out on Monday (11th February), which is really exciting because I finally get to see it on a shelf in HMV, etc. Somehow seeing it out there makes it more real.

I'm doing a few interviews for local radio this week, I'll be being interviewed on BBC Bristol sometime just after 4PM on Friday. I'm also going to be on Classic VRN 1287AM on Friday evening. As well as QuayWest 102.4FM, however I don't know the time on that one yet.

Also, just a quick reminder about the house tour, I'm look forward meeting some of you and to playing some unusual venues. TO ENTER VISIT: www.marktimothy.co.uk/playingatyourplace.

Hi, I'm really excited, I'm going to be doing a house tour. I could be playing in your living room, down your local pub or wherever you want, you decide. To get involved visit www.marktimothy.co.uk/playingatyourplace. I look forward to playing some intimate gigs in unusual locations.

Well 'Falling' was released digitally yesterday, it is now available on all good download stores, including iTunes UK & US for those of you who are reading this from across the pond. If you haven't already got yourself a copy, I'd really appreciate your support.

Finally, i enjoyed the show last night, and would like to thank Marwood for letting us support him. We are having a couple of weeks off live shows for the moment in order to audition for new band members. As some of you may know Tomas Lane left my band back in September to peruse an alternative career path. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Tom publicly for all his hard work over the last three years and to thank him because without his input, I would have never been able to make it this far. I wish him the best of luck in his future endeavours. I look forward to seeing some of you again on the 18th at the Bedford.

Thanks alot,

Mark Timothy.
