　　Szilard is the China-based solo sonic adventure of Jeremy Young, former resident of New York and Montreal where he has performed in a few bands including Sontag Shogun and (The) Slowest Runner (In All The World). A normal night of music for Szilard consists of guitar drones and looped answering-machine tapes among other sound-making objects and instruments, however for this upcoming performance he will be utilizing only sound elements gathered from China in the past and present. Time will cripple and collapse into form with three tools of talking:
　　
　　-A Chinese handradio freely channeling AM signals.
　　-Magnetic analog tapes regurgitating the voices and simulacra of today's China
　　-And live Guzheng mirroring the fabrics of ancient China and offering a wholly melodic counterpart to the layered and rippled soundscapes.

　　Jeremy O'Sullivan orbits a celestial body of inter-media and installation art. Since graduating from Elam School in New Zealand his work has found a resting spot somewhere in the pale limits scribed by the process of globalization. Reflecting on notions of constructed time, repetition, distribution of space and the resolution of reality his practice collapses and re-assembles the social and economical systems that underpin contemporary life. Using the debris of consumerism, the plastic scraps, cardboard boxes, tape weeds and vacant advertising dribbles as his compost he sets about formulating an endless echo of meaning undone by its own lack. Sound has always been an integral facet of his constructions often used to project {with the aid of an inner speaker horn fetish} elements of the everyday back on itself. Amplified silence; a 1000 pigeons cooing amongst sine waves.
　　
　　Now located in Beijing and when not entangled teaching the kids of the 'Aerospace Kindergarten' he plots the course of a film about a women on a quest to the centre of the universe. His forthcoming work at '2 kolegas' will see some of the concepts from that cosmos transposed into the theatre of sound performance. Taking the mantle of a middle man, a sonic go-between agent he will be playing his dogged ally the megaphone. Cast through a scrum of torch beams and amateur camera speckles a space will be constructed of amplifications, feedbacks and de-formed cycles garnished from the other performers and the environment as both unfold. Collaboration with other musicians allows Jeremy to refuse the creation of his own inputs, focusing instead on re-distributing the outputs of those around him. 　　Edwin van der Heide studied Sonology at the Royal Conservatory, where he graduated in 1992. He is working as autonomous artist in the field of sound, space and interaction. His current work is hard to define in the traditional terms of music, sound art or media art because he is often working on the edge and the characteristics of the used medium. In this sense the medium does not just mediate but is being explored and redefined. Although qualities of musical language are being used in the development of the work it does not mean that the presentation form of the work is necessarily related to the concert form known in music. The result can either be an installation, a performance or an environment. In 1995 he was invited to become a teacher at the interfaculty Image and Sound / ArtScience of the Royal Conservatory and the Royal Arts Academy in The Hague, The Netherlands. Since 2002 he also teaches for the students of the Master of Media Technology program at Leiden University.
　　
　　
　　In 1989 Edwin van der Heide started giving performances with custom build sensor based instruments. This let to a from of music with a strong physical approach and an emphasis on sound itself. The formation of Sensorband in 1993/1994 was a continuation in this direction. While performing he developed more and more an interest in space/spaces. He realised that it would be possible to approach a space as an instrument and, even one step further, to approach the human senses and the perception of the audience as an instrument for which you could compose. Over the years the focus of his work has shifted to sound installations, interactive installations and environments. The performance aspect is still present in part of the work but the emphasis has shifted to the content of the environment and less focus on the performer.

　　Patel Pretal are a vocal drone group from London, UK. They use old equipment, tapes and computers to process and distort live vocal improvisations; aesthetically influenced by Basic Channel, William Basinski and films by Andrei Tarkovsky. Dominik (Duo Duo), playing solo, works in a similar way, though uses mandolin, singing bowls and tapes as his sound sources and often plays with a purely acoustic setup. Andy Guhl (*1953, St. Gallen, Switzerland) is a pioneer sound artist and one of the fathers of European electronic experimental music. As part of the music formation Voice Crack and Poire_Z he has strongly influenced multiple generations of musicians and artists of the international underground and noise movements. With over 30 released albums as well as performances and exhibitions in over 20 countries Andy Guhl continues his prolific artistic production despite a widely publicized split from partner Norbert Möslang in 2002.

Andy Guhl started his career in 1972 in improvisational free jazz together with Norbert Möslang. In 1983 they started „cracking" daily electronics and developed it to the "cracked everyday electronics". By manipulating these objects to produce sounds, they broke down the traditional barrier between daily items and musical instruments and their acoustic perception. In the 1990s the duo expanded their reach into visual representation of acoustic phenomena with several installations, including the "Sound Shifting" installation they presented at the Venice Biennial 2001 upon invitation of the Swiss Art Council. Since 2002 Andy Guhl has branched out on his own with ever more innovative installations using audio-visual feedback in analogue electronic systems – which he calls "The Instrument", the expanded cracked everyday electronics. "For me physics is a musical building block," says Andy Guhl, "to allow you to also see what you're hearing."

　　1996年，马库斯·戴特莫(Markus Detmer) (生于1972年3月15日)和蒂莫·瑞尔布(Timo Reuber) (生于1970年10月31日)在德国科隆组建了电子二重奏克朗瓦特(Klangwart)。戴特莫与瑞尔布于1992年在科隆大学音乐学系初识。其时，出于对新音乐（特别是史蒂夫·赖许Steve Reich和特瑞·瑞利Terry Riley的极简派音乐）和20世纪电子乐的共同兴趣，两人走到一起。
　　90年代初期，科隆电子音乐迅速发展，其主要的音乐家与乐队有火星鼠(Mouse On Mars)、托马斯·布林克曼(Thomas Brinkmann)、布恩特·弗里德曼(Bernd Friedmann)和马库斯·施密克勒(Marcus Schmickler)等。克朗瓦特从中深受启发，发展出了自己的音乐语言与工作美学。很快，他们成为了作曲和即兴的电子音乐前沿倍受尊崇的主角。

　　马库斯·戴特莫则在1998年创立了国际知名厂牌Staubgold，作为一家实验、电子音乐厂牌，已在世界范围内广受尊敬，旗下艺人包括Embryo、Faust,、To Rococo Rot、Mapstation、Ekkehard Ehlers、Rafael Toral和Oren Ambarchi等。
　　克朗瓦特的现场经验启发了他们的新专辑"IO"，这张专辑将会由柏林厂牌Staubgold于2008年春发行(Staubgold 80 CD/LP)。
　　作为一个DJ，戴特莫在全球的音乐节和club中表演他用极简派、前卫音乐和Techno做成的敏感的拼贴。
　　表演时，克朗瓦特用电子声音与节奏、田野录音、人声与采样制作出强烈、漂浮感的作品，他们还用幻灯片、8mm电影或视频/DVD投影辅佐演出。

　　莱茵河穿过的众多城市，包括德国西部的杜塞尔多夫(Düsseldorf)，这座城市以行政、贸易以及广告业著称，而她同样拥有强大的艺术和音乐血脉，这些甚至可以追溯到18世纪。60年代末期，杜塞尔多夫为电子音乐准备了肥沃的温床，孕育了Kraftwerk、Neu!、Der Plan、DAF这样的电子先锋，更近一些的，还有火星鼠(Mouse on Mars)和克莱德勒（Kreidler）。

　　2000年初，著名伦敦厂牌Soul Static Sound的拥有者戴瑞·摩尔(Darryl Moore)邀请施耐德录制一张同名迷你专辑，几个月后，这张专辑在他与弗拉迪斯拉夫·迪雷(Vladislav Delay)的英国巡演期间发行。凭借这张专辑，施耐德被极简主义电子厂牌Staubgold熟知。之后Staubgold从科隆迁至德国首都柏林，在2001年至2003年间他们稳固的合作关系使得三张专辑得以顺利发行。
　　在2002年的专辑"A Way To Find The Day"中，施耐德决定通过与歌手莱斯·多诺万（ Ras Donovan）的合作来探索当代雷鬼音乐（他认为这是电子乐的一种类型）。施耐德与多诺万都用过Tarwater乐队成员贝恩德·叶斯坦姆(Bernd Jestram)的录音室，通过叶斯坦姆的介绍认识，他们在2003年的专辑"Version Train"中继续探索。尽管"New Direction"或是"Stand Me Stand"这样的曲目显然是由多诺万悲伤的歌声所主宰，施耐德却从不试图超越雷鬼乐的加勒比初创者，相反，他追求自己的想象力，果断地采用了非权威的雷鬼乐。

　　约瑟夫·苏其曾与FX Randomiz、火星鼠（Mouse On Mars）乐队的Jan St. Werner合作组建了Four Square Logos乐队，也曾是Metall Assemblague乐队成员。他与Randomiz和Werner合作，为Gefriem厂牌担任制作。在个人演出以外，他目前是Burnt Friedman,、Reuber和Schlammpeitziger等人的录音室乐手。另外，他还在科隆媒体艺术学院设计声音装置，同时他和FX Randomiz有一个二重奏，还参加一个叫做Koro的freecore乐队。

　　Justin Padro
　　
　　Justin Padro is a percussionist from New York City who has recently made Beijing his home. He has performed with various ensembles in jazz, latin, rock, and experimental music settings in the US, Canada, Europe, South Africa and now China. Most recently, while in New York, Padro worked as an apprentice tuning pipe organs in churches and cathedrals in addition to playing with a large outdoor music/performance art ensemble called the HIMALAYAS (primarily composed of horns and drums, playing anthemic experimental pieces and led by drummer Kenny Wolleson of Tom Waits and John Zorn renown) and a trio consisting of tuba, trumpet, snare drum and vocals that busked throughout the subways of the city plating a mix of New Orleans Jazz and Punk.
　　While in China, Padro has had the opportunity to work with many great artists including Elliot Sharp, Zhang Shou Wang (Carsick Cars, WHITE), MaFeiSan, The Beijing New Music Ensemble, The Red Hand Jazz Band, Marqido, Bruce Gremo, his own trio including Nathaniel Gao (alto saxophone) and Wang Chenhuai (doublebass), the Beijing Free Improv Alliance, Matthew Shipp, Speak Chinese or Die!, BuHaoChi, and multi-reedist Li Tie Qiao. Padro leads his own improv ensemble, Dom Pedro, which mixes jazz, noise and rock influences. He is currently the sound engineer at the music club D-22 in Wudaokou and performs there often on Thursday and Sunday nights.

　　零與聲音解放組織成員結識於輔仁大學草原文學社，包括Steve（哲學系）、林其蔚（法文系）、劉行一（德文系）等人，於1991年成立於工業城新莊。他們合作於「噪愛生錢」裝置展，並在極短的時間內以家用手提收錄音機錄製了一批風格難以界定；以人聲、工業區廢棄物、報廢樂器為材之錄音。特別的是零與聲並不彈奏樂器，只能夠說他們使用這些器材發出聲音。
　　此一時期零與聲於ICRT歌唱新秀大賽、校園音樂節、以及部份學運場合演出讓觀眾大吃一驚;近乎行為藝術的「音樂」，此後這種混合幽默與挑釁的現場風格一直持續到90年代中期。
　　1993年零與聲在第一次宣言中定義噪音，將噪音分為原、冷、熱、複製音，聲音之破壞性與身體性，以及聲音溝通之不可能性。同年零與聲在台北地下咖啡廳「甜蜜蜜」的表演中開始加入裝置、錄影、肢體元素，並自製CD、Tape出版，開啟台灣唱片DIY風潮。1993年劉柏利的加入為零與聲帶來了數位技術與科技思維，94年steve的回港則促使零與聲走向電子化、電腦化之路。94、95年零與聲團員協辦了三次破爛系列藝術節，這是甜蜜蜜負責人吳中煒主推，以及與台北地下噪音廠牌「Noise」多方面的合作的結果，開始有國外地下噪音樂團來台演出，"破爛節"從而一度成為台灣地下文化總動員，95年最後一屆破爛節的落幕與台灣社運狂潮的結束同步，社運性的文化場域自此不再存在。
　　
　　零與聲此後以一年一次的頻率於替代藝術空間如A8、新生態藝術中心、在地實驗等地自辦獨立演出。依然沒有正常電子樂器的使用，零與聲開始以訊號產生器、收音機、盤帶機為創作工具，製作出樸素；令人聯想起早期電子音樂的實聲錄音。這是零與聲演出機會匱乏而理論大量產出的時期，團員劉行一在破週報上發表一系列噪音理論文章，將噪音與中國古典文化（騷音流慾、肉鼓吹）、與台灣本土脈絡（騷音除煞、失控制度、色情電話）作一結合。1995年零與聲於破爛節以超聲、次聲演出0-99行動，伴以劉行一、大便工作室之凌虐行動。1997年於「電子音樂實習」發表聲光裝置，1998年零與聲在第二次「電子音樂實習」演出中使用了離心力感應、距離感應等以驅動聲音取樣等互動科技，2000年在聶魯達咖啡以人工呼吸偶甦醒安妮進行演出。

　　Bruce Gremo曾经是阿姆斯特丹Steim、纽约Engine 27和Harvest Works的驻场音乐家，他的电脑音乐曾在世界各地演出。作为长笛演奏家，他专门研究了银笛、日本尺八、中国埙等乐器的演奏技术与即兴形式。
　　
　　最初，Bruce Gremo是作为古典音乐的演奏家在林肯音乐中心等场所演出。曾经作为独奏音乐家与奥地利管弦乐队和苏格兰的BBC交响乐团同台演出，也参加了Knitting Factory爵士音乐节和Charlie
　　Parker爵士音乐节。从1990年到2000年，他频繁地与中国作曲家谭盾在即兴表演、编曲、合成器编程、独奏以及管弦乐指挥等领域进行合作。Bruce Gremo作为合成器编程、EWI独奏音乐家与曾执导昆曲名作《牡丹亭》的美国导演Peter Sellars进行了长达14个月的巡回演出。

　　目前為台北藝術大學「藝術與科技中心 (Center of Art and Technology)」電腦音樂實驗室主持人。主要專長為聲音藝術、互動藝術。1993年成立台灣第一個實驗音樂廠牌和刊物「Noise」，同時發行一系列「Noisenet」選集，集結國內外上百位創作者作品，成為國際實驗音樂網的一個據點。近十多年來一直致力於聲音藝術、數位藝術的創作與推廣。
　　
　　在聲音藝術方面，伴隨台灣聲音藝術的發展與推廣，藉由推動「異響/Bias」聲音藝術展與「台北數位藝術獎」聲音藝術類別，將此領域推展成數位藝術不可或缺且有獨立特色的領域，提供新世代一個全新面貌的創作領域與發展空間。在數位藝術方面，2000年加入「在地實驗」，是台灣媒體藝術發展中少數以團體實驗室方式進行數位藝術的實驗、實踐與探討，是早期少數以即時互動為主的創作實驗團體，並提供與其他創作者相互交流的機會。之後「在地實驗」承接一些如「漫遊者2004」、「台北數位藝術節」等國際數位藝術大展，獲得不少難得的實務經驗。2007年策展「台北數位藝術節-玩開」、2008年策劃「超響TranSonic2008｣，帶動新一波數位藝術發展，在台灣聲音藝術與互動藝術領域都是先鋒的開拓者。

　　1995年赴舊金山留學，開始以「精•神•經」為名從事實驗聲音/影像創作，早期作品收錄於美國Auscultare Research的"Soundtracks for Bride of Sevenless" 選輯。1997年回國，開始pd/gem、max/msp/nato程式開發，從事互動實驗聲音/影像創作，在現場以紅外線等感應裝置即時控制聲音/影像，是台灣最早做聲音與影像即時互動的創作者。聲音作品「破浪」參展澳洲2001年多媒體藝術展(MAAP)的AO: Audio Only Sound Gallery。2002年參與"Devolve Into II" 國際網路影音藝術計畫，作品「Hear You Can't Hear」，活動實體展出奧地利ORF Klangtheater Wien 和德國ZKM 的Intermedium 2展；另外奧地利KUNSTRADIO播放20分鐘「Hear You Can't Hear」廣播版，2004年起開始聲音裝置的創作。重要實驗音樂表演演出，如:「不可思議騷音」/「台北實驗電子音樂2000」、「靜電暴動」/「台北實驗電子音樂2001」，「電子原音反擊」-台中首次噪音藝術祭2002、「Taipei Electronic Arts Phenomena」2002、「出聲Sono」2003、「腦天氣」2003、「台北聲納」2004、「牯嶺街小劇場百周年祭」2006、「超響TranSonic｣2008等。

　　10由日本笔记本噪音艺术家马球多、韩国人声/玩具/口风琴/手风琴和各国民族乐器演奏者伊塔创立于2005年10月10日。在组建这个二重奏之前，两位成员都作为独奏艺人表演，现在仍然如此。2006年，在亚洲巡演（日本、中国、韩国、马来西亚、新加坡和泰国）之后，他们在日本发表了专辑《现场》和《UFO EP》。
　　2007年，专辑《UFO》发表。接下来他们进行了又一次亚洲巡演。9月、10月他们在欧洲演出，参加了法国和西班牙的几个音乐节。这一年他们还发表了和李剑鸿合作的专辑《再见新世界》。

FM3
　　
　　Founded in 1999 by Christiaan Virant and Zhang Jian, two active members of the Beijing music scene, FM3 are considered pioneers of electronic music in China.
　　Known for dedicating prime space for "live" aspects within their work, FM3 produces mysterious, meditative and minimalist soundscapes, while subtly adding elements of Chinese folk tradition into a universe abundant in micro-sounds and synthetic glitches.
　　FM3 has been called "the most prominent experimental act in China" by the US magazine Grooves. XLR8R described FM3's sound as "poetic noise" and the UK magazine The Wire calls FM3 live sets "meditative," "soothing" and "engagingly intimate."
　　In 2004, FM3 was commissioned by the Louvre museum in Paris to provide a new soundtrack for the 1930s film "La Croisière jaune." The project concluded with three live performances at the Louvre Auditorium in early June.
　　FM3's sound installations have been featured at the 2004 Shanghai Bienalle as well as the Beijing-Tokyo Art Project, the Dashanzi International Art Festival and the Kulturhallen Dampfzentrale in the Swiss capital of Bern.
　　The mass-produced FM3 Buddha Machine loop box was named of the best "boxed sets" of 2005 by the New York Times and was one of the top selling electronic releases of 2005-06.
　　FM3 has released music on a number of European and North American labels, including Staalplaat (DE), Staubgold (DE), Bip-Hop (FR), Mutek_Rec (CAN), Mousike (ITALY), Nascente (UK), Leerraum (CH), Lona (HK) and Sublime Frequencies (USA).

　　1997年学习吉他，先后组建及参与"吸管"和"地下婴儿"等乐团演出及创作。2000年开始尝试电子音乐创作。曾参与制作和策划多张国内重要电子音乐合辑，同时涉猎电影，话剧配乐创作。以SULUMI名义发行多张唱片，以单纯的游戏之声和跳舞音乐著称。
　　
　　Started to learn guitar in 1997, Sun Dawei formed and joined bands like "Xi Guan" and "Underground Baby". He wrote some songs for bands and many times appeared at live shows. Since the year 2000, Sun Dawei began to compose electronic music and has produced many important electronic music compilation albums afterwards. He also envolved in the incidental music for film and theatre. Sun Dawei has released several albums for himself under the name of "SULUMI", he is famous for the pure Gameboy sound and IDM.

　　The Wedding Beast是由Zafka，5355和柿子成立于2008年3月的三人组合。运用吉他，鼓和合成器等传统乐器，这个团体试图重新探索声响即兴和器乐音景的可能性。Zafka是目前国内活跃的声音艺术家。Zafka与5355的组合"A Lower Summer"涉足城市音景，缓拍和吉他噪音，2006年曾短暂在水陆观音和D-22演出，并现场为Béla Tarr的电影《Sátántangó》重新配乐。柿子同样是目前北京实验音乐的活跃分子。三人都是后摇滚乐队Prague的成员。

　　The trio by Zafka, 5355 and Shizi, formed in March 2008. With guitar, percussion, synth, and many other instruments, TWB are dedicated to explore the possibilities of sound improvisation and instrumental soundscape. Zafka (ZHANG Anding) is an active sound artist in China. In 2006, the duo "A Lower Summer" by Zafka and 5355 explored the fusion of urban soundscape, slow core and guitar noise. ALW recomposed for Béla Tarr's film《Sátántangó》in their live show in D-22. Shizi is also one of the active members of Bejing experimental music community. The three of them are also members of post-rock band Prague.

　　现时中国最重要、最活跃的噪音/即兴音乐创作者之一。自上世纪90年代末以来，他是第二层皮乐队、D!O!D!O!D!乐队、Acidzen乐团组建者，并参与背信弃义的双鱼座人、VagusNerve等团体，也是艺术团体"淘米社"（Tomeclub）组建者之一，第二层皮独立唱片（2pi
　　 Records）主持。
　　 自2003年开始，每年策划和主持中国重要的先锋音乐节"二皮音乐节"。这些活动要么是早期中国实验音乐、草根当代艺术的重要节点，要么是当代声音艺术国际交流过程中重要的推动力量。2004年10月，李剑鸿在巴黎"白夜"（Nuit
　　 Blanche）艺术节演出，其后被国际声音艺术名人兹比格涅夫·卡科夫斯基称为"中国最好的噪音艺术家"。2006年11月进行日本东京－大阪巡演。
　　 目前已在自家的2pi、日本的PSF、美国的Post-concrete和Archive等厂牌推出了十来张作品。
　　
　　Li Jianhong
　　Li Jianhong is one of the most active Chinese noise / Improvisation in
　　 Mainland China. Now residing in Hangzhou, Li's early involvement in
　　 Hangzhou's experimental culture started with his co-founding of the group
　　 Tome club (Tao Mi She). He is the founder of the Avant-rock group
　　 "Second Skin", noisecore / improv group "D!O!D!O!D!" and the psychedelic
　　 noise duo VagusNerve formed by him and VAVABOND, the member of sound art
　　 group "Pisces Iscariots", as well as the manager of 2pi Records. In
　　 November of 2006, Li was invited as a guest lecturer by the Dept. of New
　　 Media at the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou. The experimental musician
　　 Zbigniew Karkowski called Li "the best noise musician in China."
　　Since 2003, Li and 2pi Records hold a noise / sound art / Avant-garde
　　 music festival "2pi Festival" annually in Hangzhou. As the most
　　 important Avant-garde music festival in China, 2pi Festival will invite not
　　 only the most active avant-garde musicians in China, but also some artists
　　 from abroad. Meanwhile, he invented the series performance named
　　 "Home Violence" to push the noise / experimental scene into households.
　　 Those activities he involved in are either the most important milestones
　　 in the early stage of China's experimental music and the grass roots
　　 modern art development, or the strong pushing power for the international
　　 communication of sound art.
　　From 2004 to 2007, Li took part in various art activities including
　　 Nuit Blanche Festival in Paris, Battersea Power Station of London, Tokyo
　　 and Osaka Tour, Midi Music Festival of China, Get It Louder Exhibition
　　 of 2006, Da Shanzi International Art Festival, In the Deep of Reality: A
　　 Case of Chinese Contemporary Art, as well as the Moving Soundscape and
　　 Home Show of the Get It Louder Exhibition 2007, Sally Can't Dance

　　李铁桥，1973年出生，中国湖南人。跨界乐手，萨克斯演奏者。
　　李铁桥主要从事实验自由即兴表演项目。在他的即兴表演中，他勇敢地在爵士乐、摇滚乐和电子噪音中寻找新的表达方式。
　　他从小学习中国竹笛；17岁时，他开始学习演奏长号，并在学校管乐队中演奏军乐。
　　他于1995年～2005年生活在北京。1995年开始自学中音萨克斯，之后他便开始参加实验摇滚乐队的演出，并开始组建爵士乐队。期间，他开始与生活在北京的即兴乐手、前卫艺术家、诗人、先锋舞蹈、实验戏剧和电子噪音乐手进行自由即兴表演。
　　2005年，他移居到挪威首都奥斯陆。他的首场演出便引起挪威自由乐手的关注并受邀与他们合作。他在挪威的主要合作对象包括：自由爵士乐手、新古典乐手、黑金摇滚乐手、民族乐手、前卫诗人、先锋舞蹈、实验话剧等。与他合作的挪威著名自由乐手有： Paal Nilssen-Love，Ingebrigt Harker Flaten，Maja Ratkje， Ketil Gutvik， Rolf-ErikNystrom，Olga Konkova，Eivind Nordset Lønning……

　　Li Tie Qiao
　　
　　Li Tie Qiao (born 23 September 1973 in Hu Nan province) is an Chinese composer and saxophonist/multi-instrumentalist. He mostly engages in experimental and free improvisation projects. In his improvisation he bravely experiment in search for a new expression between the boarders of jazz, rock and electronic noise.
　　
　　As a child, he played bamboo flute. He went to music school learned trombone and played in a military band.
　　
　　He moved to Bei Jing in 1995. As then He start self-study Alto saxophone and played in some experimental rock bands and Contact with a lot of avant-garde artists, poets and musicians.
　　
　　He moved to Oslo of Norway in 2005 and was warmly welcomed by a number of Norwegian musicians. During his time in Norway he have played with Paal Nilssen-Love,Ingebrigt Harker Flaten, Maja Ratkje, Ketil Gutvik, Rolf-Erik Nystrom etc.

从学运到学院－台湾声音艺术简史

一九九二年，「ICRT青春之星」歌唱比赛于辅大中美堂举行初赛。其中一组名为「零与声音解放组织」，由林其蔚、刘行一、Steve（香港侨生）组成的三人乐团进场姿态吓到了主持人：主唱身着送葬孝服，涂白脸，吉他手着卫生衣、拖鞋，鼓手头载安全帽，主持人的任何问题，他们一律回答：「不知道。」表演开始，走调的吉他猛刷，鼓点全无节奏，主唱Steve狂喊并且在地上打滚。结束后，现场观众尴尬地为他们搞砸气氛的勇气鼓掌。同年年底的辅大校庆演唱会，再度报名参与的「零与声音解放组织」为最后一组表演团体，活动主办者表示，如此安排是为了「方便赶观众离场」。几首同样无节奏无弦律可言的「歌曲」之后，一位愤怒的观众拿起音控台的麦克风对台上喊：「你们到底想表达什么！？」主唱喃喃回答：「nnnnnothing．．．」。

如今习惯摇滚乐团恶搞式表演的年轻乐迷看来，以上演出或许稀松平常，若再度重演，恐怕也无挑嚣的力量，但这两次大场面的演出，却是其后十多年台湾噪音／声音艺术的开端。

一九九一年前后，「万年国会」与「动员戡乱时期条款」刚于一片改革声浪中终结，「独台会事件」落幕，环保运动、性别运动、劳工运动、独立运动等政治与社会运动风起云涌，一切主张都可公开谈论。在如此意识型态大翻转的政治情势之下，这一代经历过三月学运的大学生心中，除了「该作点什么」激情之外，还弥漫着些许虚无的气氛－上一代校园民歌里描绘的那个「大我」越来越像遥不可及的神话与笑话－「还能作些什么？」。

一群学运外围份子试图找寻出口，他们放弃追求「大我」，回到自身。英美七○年代末庞克运动「自己动手搞」（DIY）思潮，十年后终于在台湾的这群青年之中萌芽。

这群学运外围份子的另一项特色是「跨」－跨校读书会、跨校社团串联、跨领域串联。「跨」的网络已在三月学运后更形绵密。零与声、浊水溪公社的连系，即是在这样的时代氛围中成形。不仅是音乐，学运、剧场、前卫艺术、实验短片、地下媒体也是他们企图掌握的表现形式。

串联活动延续到校外，一九九三年，台大附近的小咖啡馆「甜蜜蜜」成了这群小剧场、地下音乐、学运份子的聚会场所与活动发生地点。

这家小咖啡馆虽然仅维持了一年，但以它为中心的人们所进行的密谋，却开启了九○年代大大小小另类音乐文化的先河。一九九四年，甜蜜蜜结束营业之际，老板吴中炜在友人的协助之下，于永福桥河堤举办了一场以垃圾与废弃物品构筑起来的音乐祭<破烂生活节>，活动内容至今看来仍十分前卫，包括乐团表演、小剧场、影片播放、装置艺术、火舞祭、夜宿现场。

国际串联也开始进行，当时工作重心于前卫艺术领域的王福瑞、郭冠英于一九九三年创办完全以噪音/工业之声为主题的地下刊物《Noise》，将英、美、日、港的噪音介绍至台湾。而台湾第一张自制自发的CD，零与声的首张专辑，也透过《Noise》的国际噪音网络发行至国外。

九○年代初所累积的能量于一九九五年爆发，<破烂生活节>扩大为<台北国际后工业艺术祭>，由林其蔚担任总企划人，演出乐团来自英、美、日、瑞士与台湾。这场在已拆除的板桥废酒厂举行，为期数日的表演里，视觉与身体表演的惊骇程度，可能创下台湾现场表演的纪录：惊悚小剧场洒狗血、演出者对女性观众进行身体侵犯、浊水溪公社以优酪乳对团员灌肠、零与声对团员灌馊水并将馊水泼向观众、．． ． 。

激情演出的<台北国际后工业艺术>之后，九七至二千年间，台湾声音艺术/噪音表演场所沉潜至一般小剧场常使用的展演空间，主要演出者为零与声、王福瑞、 DINO等人。此外，「电」这个字眼开始频繁地出现于活动名称中。一九九八年的「98 EMP电子实习演出」是这段时间唯一的大型活动，主角是有学院背景的日裔艺术家田中能。他以笔记型电脑、音乐软体Max与精密的感测器探测探肢体肌肉细微的变化作为声音与影像的控制参数，带给观者强烈的感官印象，对台湾创作者无疑是一场震撼教育。

新生代抱着笔电突入

二千年前后的资讯革命，为台湾的声音艺术注入一股活水，其中最重要的例子是一九九八年由前卫艺术家黄文浩成立的「在地实验」网站etat.com，率先于网路提供视觉艺术、媒体艺术的影音报导与节目。 「在地实验」还提供简单的活动场地与摄影棚，成为这段时间最重要的实体与虚拟噪音表演空间。

另方面，具有工程、外文及艺术史训练，精熟现代音乐、前卫音乐，自习电脑的姚大钧，一九九六年成立一系列华文数位艺术网站sinologic.com（其中包括「前卫音乐网」 、「前味音乐网」、「潜味音乐网」），于网路撰写评论、开设网路电台，鼓吹新一代华人乐手投入前卫音乐、声音艺术创作与研究。

而个人电脑与音乐软体的技术，在二千年后已有明显的突破，种种大环境的交集之下，以电脑创作已成为势不可挡的趋势。姚大钧谈到此现象：

「用电脑作音乐是当下全球之现状事实，甚至已不能说『大势所趋』，因为早已经如此了。笔记本电脑是当前的一种de facto的标准配备乐器，就像前几十年的电吉他，前几百年的钢琴一样。这是既定事实，人们应该视之为理所当然。」

二○○ 二年底由林其蔚、许雅筑与刚成立的台北艺术大学科技艺术研究中心所主办的「台湾国际电子艺术论坛」堪称是「台北国际后工业艺术」之后，最具革命性的活动。比较两场相距七年的活动，前者可说是后者「成熟了」的版本。少了激烈的身体表演，多了对声音本身的关注。国外乐手/艺术家不单是表演，同时于连续两天的讲习会中讲授软体使用技术与电子艺术理论。

<台湾国际电子艺术论坛>后第二年，多项重要事件连续发生。

台艺大科技艺术研究中心延请姚大钧回台开课，主持「电脑音乐实验室」，并于二○○四年企划了表演者几乎都以笔电为乐器的「台北声纳2004--国际科技艺术节」，演出者多为国际声音艺术创作者的一时之选。

着力于制作前卫艺术线上节目的「在地实验」于二○○三年举办<异响bias-声音艺术展>，向全世界征选参展作品。这项台湾第一次声音征选展除了本地之外，还吸引美、日的创作者参展。二○○五年的第二届<异响bias>在国巨基金会与国家文化艺术基金会的赞助下，扩大为有一百三十多件来自台湾、香港、英国、美国、法国、立陶宛参展作品的展览，并举办为期两天的大型表演活动。活动所留下的作品影音光碟，是台湾近年来唯一大量发行的声音艺术出版品。据「在地实验」技术总监张赐福的观察，第一届<异响>的作品仍以类比电子作品为主，到了第二届，完全以电脑为音源的数位电子作品大量增加，而且报名者出现许多新脸孔。

从两千年至今，活动力较旺盛的新生代声音艺术团体包括：

一、台中的「麦芽精酿」除了在台中举办演出、开设唱片行、成立教学工作室外，主要成员陈史帝、也常以Noise Steve为名应邀参加台北与国外的声音表演；

二、姚大钧推动下成立的「台北声音小组」，主要成员为李岳凌、陈立威与谢仲其，他们同时创立了唱片厂牌Recordz；

三、i/O Soundlab由姚仲涵、张永达、王仲堃、蔡欣圜等台艺大科技艺术研究所学生于2005年组成，2006年二月起经常于南海艺廊举办声音表演活动「南海啥声」。

此外，Pei（刘佩雯，曾就读于澳洲雪梨大学艺术学院电子艺术系）与蔡安智（英国约克大学音乐工程所硕士），也是两千年起，各大小声音艺术表演与数位艺术展览名单的常客。这群新生代的特色，陈史帝除外，都以笔电为主要器材，兼玩视觉、装置、拥有艺术学院及非艺术学院的双重学科训练，并且都架设了个人部落格（Blog），网路是他们最常使用的讯息发布媒介。

青年与时代－谁创造谁？

由以上的发展轨迹，我们可以约略看出来，二○○○年之后，「噪音」这个令人不安的字眼已从所有活动与相关文件中消失，身体展演的成份降低，而「电」、「数位」、「科技」、「影像」、「声音艺术」、「声音采集」成为关键字。政府的「文化创意产业」经济政策对于噪音/声音艺术场景的资金注入，学院的成立，也有着绝大的关系。资讯革命的影响更不在话下。

政府政策与资金投入对于声音艺术场景在台湾的扩大或许有决定性的影响，但当局对于文化事业常是看近不看远，隐忧还是存在着。目前在学院体制中进行前卫音乐教育深耕的姚大钧表示：官方对于音乐、艺术与文化的推动，虽有意投入资金，但太过注重表面风光的大规模活动。活动演出是整体音乐创作与欣赏生态的冰山的一角，还有更多扎根的工作尚待进行。

林其蔚于访谈中提到他当年投入的音乐展演之所以能成就，是「时代造就了青年，而非青年造就时代」。但若没有先驱者事先打好基础，一旦时代与环境的条件成熟，所造就的场景方向也许完全不一样。回顾一九九二至九五年那段以学运边缘份子起家的DIY噪音运动，这批先行者创造了台湾地下音乐文化与前卫艺术的多项第一：第一场户外音乐祭、第一张自制自发的CD，率先推出线上影音节目、以笔记型电脑作为现场表演与创作的器材、．． ．。他们其实是走在时代前面的研发部门与前锋部队。

如此来看，青年不一定能创造时代，但青年必定要挑战时代，勇于尝试前人不曾作、不敢作的事，在恶劣的环境下，走在时代的前面，为时代起个头。先要破土，种子撒下才能够发芽。声音艺术在台湾还只能算是刚开始，还有一大片未知的疆界等着新一代创作者开拓。

一年一度的大西洋波浪(Atlantic Waves)，伦敦国际探索性音乐节(London International Festival of Exploratory Music)获得了巨大的成功，而米格尔先生则是该节日的主要负责人，并汇编了"来自葡萄牙的探索性音乐"("Exploratory Music from Portugal")系列CD，该CD系列每年和英国的主流音乐杂志一起发行。他还在共鸣FM电台(Resonance FM)(伦敦首个艺术广播电台)推出过一系列的表演节目，包括穆沙·卢沙(Musa Lusa)、别招惹是非(Sleeping Dogs Lie)以及大西洋波浪等。 他是盎格鲁-葡萄牙协会( Anglo-Portuguese Society)的执行委员之一，也是共鸣FM电台的顾问委员，同时身兼葡萄牙艺术信托(Portuguese Arts Trust)以及韩国文化推广局(Korean Cultural Promotion Agency)的董事会成员。年度唱片奖(Album of the Year Award)是BBC电台3项世界音乐奖之一，米格尔先生担任其评审小组成员；另外他还参与创办了musica.pt这个大型的葡萄牙音乐出口组织。

 

在来到伦敦之前，米格尔先生曾担任过几家主要葡萄牙报社的音乐记者，一家唱片录制和发行公司的创办董事；另外还担任过声音设计、音乐人以及电台制作人。

 

米格尔先生是西敏寺大学(University of Westminster)的一名博士学者，并获得了城市大学(City University)艺术政策(Arts Policy)和管理学(Management)专业的文学硕士(Master of Arts)学位，里斯本大学(Lisbon University)统计和信息管理(Statistics and Information Management)专业的理科学士(BSc)学位，以及里斯本的高等电影学院(Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema)影视研究(Film Studies)专业的文学学士(BA)学位。

 

 

 

Miguel Santos is Director of the Anglo-Portuguese Cultural Relations Programme at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation’s UK Branch. He is responsible for the promotion of contemporary Portuguese culture in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.

He is Director of the hugely successful annual Atlantic Waves, London International Festival of Exploratory Music, which takes place in London, and compiles the CD series "Exploratory Music from Portugal", which is distributed every year with major UK music magazines. He also presents a number of shows (Musa Lusa, Sleeping Dogs Lie, Atlantic Waves), on Resonance FM, London's first radio art station. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Anglo-Portuguese Society, sits on the Advisory Board of Resonance FM and was a Board member of the Portuguese Arts Trust and of the Korean Cultural Promotion Agency. Miguel is a member of the voting panel for the Album of the Year Award, part of the BBC Radio 3 Awards for World Music; and is a founding member of musica.pt, a Portuguese music export umbrella organisation.

Before moving to London, Miguel was a music journalist for several leading Portuguese newspapers, a founder director of a music record label and distribution company, a sound designer, a musician, and a radio producer.

He was a PhD scholar at the University of Westminster, and holds a Master of Arts in Arts Policy and Management from City University, a BSc in Statistics and Information Management from Lisbon University, and a BA in Film Studies from Lisbon’s Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema.

《关于中国当代音乐资料馆》

中国当代音乐资料馆（New Music China Archive）是收集、整理、传播和发布中国当代音乐／声音艺术的非营利公益文化机构，2006年12月7日在北京成立。发起人为杨立才、颜峻、姚大钧、许雅筑、李如一，顾问栗宪庭。

中国当代音乐资料馆的宗旨是推动中国当代音乐／声音艺术的多元化发展，促进中国当代音乐／声音艺术参与国际间的交流与合作。资料馆将系统地收藏中国自二十世纪八十年代以来的当代音乐／声音艺术档案，为创作活动提供支持，为研究者提供便利，与公众分享信息资源。

中国当代音乐资料馆的第一个项目是收藏有代表性的独立发行的中国实验音乐／声音艺术作品。这是国内首次对独立音乐，实验音乐及声音艺术作品进行系统的梳理和公益收藏。第一批档案来自白糖罐工作室自2003年6月以来的收藏；从2006年起，陆续有撒把芥末工作室、观音唱片、山水唱片、豆腐唱片、盲聋哑学校、fm3乐队、林其蔚、86／33链等独立文化机构和艺术家向资料馆捐赠声音艺术／实验音乐资料。

两岸声音资料展

中国当代音乐资料馆的收藏主要立足档案保存和公益传播，2008 mini midi音乐节期间推出首次公开展览："两岸声音资料展"，策划：杨立才、许雅筑，合作：颜峻、姚仲涵。

此次展览将系统地梳理中国大陆和台湾的实验音乐／声音艺术发展脉络，以中国当代音乐资料馆收藏的出版物和数字声音资料为主，结合艺术家提供的影像资料，以实物展示、声音试听、纪录片放映、讲座等形式向公众开放。

此次展览将分两个场地同时进行：

About New Music China Archive

New Music China Archive is a non-profit cultural organization that collects, organizes, propagates, and publishes Chinese contemporary music and sound art. The Archive was founded in Beijing on December 7, 2006 by Licai Yang, Yan Jun, Dajuin Yao, Ya-Zhu Xu, and Lawrence Li, with Li Xianting as consultant.

The purpose of New Music China Archive is to promote diversified developments in Chinese contemporary music and sound art, as well as international exchange and collaboration. New Music China Archive will systematically collect Chinese contemporary music and sound art from the 1980s onward. It supports creative events, provides convenience for researchers, and shares information resources with the public.

The immediate project of New Music China Archive is to collect representative works of Chinese experimental music and sound art that have been released independently. This is the first ever systematic organization and non-profit collection of independent music, experimental music and sound art works inside China. Our first collections comes from Sugarjar's collection, which started in June 2003, and subsequently from donations made by independent cultural organizations and artists such as Sub Jam, Kwanyin Records, Landscape Records, Tofu Records, School for the Deaf, Blind and Mute, fm3, Lin Chi-wei, and 86/33 Chain.

China/Taiwan Sound Archive Exhibition

In accordance with its goal of archiving and public promotion, New Music China Archive presents its first exhibition, during the 2008 Mini MIDI Festival: China/Taiwan Sound Archive Exhibition, curated by Licai Yang and Ya-Zhu Xu, with cooperate Yan Jun and Chung-Han YAO.

This exhibition presents a systematic organization of developments of experimental music and sound art in China and Taiwan, based on the publications and digital audio archive in New Music China Archive's collection. The exhibition will be presented to the public with visual documents, actual objects, audio samples, and documentary videos provided by artists.

The exhibition goes on simultaneously at two separate sites:

2. New Music in China Survey

New Music in China Survey is the first public project of New Music China Archive since its founding. Survey questionnaires are given out to different public groups, and are subsequently presented as first-hand materials on the status of development and propagation of Chinese contemporary music; it is presented as a reference for scholar research and public dissemination. This project will continue for two years, with returned questionnaires expected at 2,000 copies.

《<about Mini Midi>》

Mini Midi is a part of Midi Music Festival, which is the earliest and largest outdoor music festival in China. The Mini Midi, first occurring in 2005, as the experimental stage of Midi  Music Festival

Mini Midi, held together with Midi Festival annually, is sponsored by Beijing Midi Productions and undertook by Sub Jam.

The Mini Midi Festival is a non-profit event, presenting a wide variety of adventurous modern music including: experimental, avant-garde, improvised, electronic, noise, and sonic art. The Festival is one of the only two music festivals of its kind (the other is 2pi Festival in Hangzhou) and is also a extension of 'Waterland Kwanyin', which is a weekly free event since 2005. The team of the Festival is fundamentally made up of volunteers.

The 1st Mini Midi was a three-day event featuring 22 acts, the 2nd Mini Midi was a four-day event presenting 23 acts, and the 3rd Mini Midi was a three-day event bringing 27 acts, including Staalplaat Soundsystem, Jan Jelinek, DDV, FM3, Xiao He, Wang Fan, Dajuin Yao, Lin Chiwei, Sulumi, Li Jianhong and more from Beijing, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Datong, Tsingdao, Taipei, Germany, Canada, Japan, Korea, America, Holland and Malaysia.

The first to the third Mini Midi was hold in Beijing Haidian Park.

《<about Mini Midi 2008>》

The fourth Mini Midi Festival will be occurring on May 1-3, 2008, at the Drive-in Movie Theater, at the grass in front of 2 Kolegas Bar and indoor. Free for everybody. 2 Kolegas Bar is the place of experimental music series—'Waterland kwanyin'. The program includes conversation, outdoor performances and electronic music party. It is not only a meeting of artists and audience, but also a party of promoters, critics, indie labels and institutions. The Festival is a gathering for the entire scene as an ecology system. Performance itself is not the most important point, while cultivating and sharing is the highlight of Mini Midi.

The number of outdoor artists is less than usual, however, casual grass atmosphere and open noise spirit is lasting. Andy Guhl, from Switzerland, the first confirmed foreign artist, member of Voice Crack, is the hero of international underground and noise scene. "Zero and Sound", the first generation noise project in Taiwan, will appear in Mini Midi for the first time after absence the stage for ten years. Fujui Wang, 'the bel canto noiser', another artist from Taipei, the editor of , a member of 'Ching-Shen-Ching' and 'eTat', and as Head of Computer Music Laboratory, Center for Art and Technology of Taipei National University of the Arts. By now, the following artists are on list: Li Jianhong, JIMU, Hong Qile, Wang Fan, Li Zenghui, Xiao He, FM3, Wu Quan, Yan Jun, The Wedding Beast, Justin Padro, TronOrchestra+SAM2+SomeMoreSams+, 8GG, 10, Li Tieqiao, Mafeisan and Bruce Gremo…

The two-night indoor performances feature special performances of the Shanshui label and Staubgold label, including electronic music, DJing and party.

New Music China Archive will set up mobile exhibition in Mini Midi for the first time.

Sugar Jar and other independent organizations will hold exhibitions dedicated to promote their productions.

Mini Midi 2008 is the gold season of noise, the blossom of China independent scene. Consisting of collaborations among various independent organizations: Sub Jam, Kwanyin Record, Sugar Jar, New Music China Archive, Wu Ya, Elvita & V's Life Sign, Neocha，2 Kolegas Bar, D22, YuGongYiShan Bar, Borderline... as well as individuals and volunteers, even separately, the ultimate goal of the festival is to create an open minded, communicated, free festival.

In the afternoon of May 1st, Miguel Santos, the head of Atlantic Waves Music Festival, will present the history and operations of the Festival providing the guests with videos and a free cd . The aim of this exchange with the Chinese artists is to bring an international perspective to the current China independent/experimental music organizations. Besides, a selection of Chinese artists will participate to the Atlantic Waves Festival this year.

The visit of Atlantic Waves is sponsored by Cultural and Education Section of the British Embassy. Janek Schaefer,  acclaimed experimental musician and sound artist, will participate to the conversation and the performances. He has just been nominated for the Candidacy of 'New Media Award 2008' sponsored by Liedts-Meesen Foundation as well as for the Awards of 'British Composer of the Year' - British Academy of Composers of 2007.

Staubgold is an independent label based in Berlin famous for its numerous releases of German electronic music and avant-garde music. Staubgold's great artists include Faust, Embryo, Leafcutter John, Rafael Toral and more. Amongst the label's top releases, we can mention: the CD of 'Haunted Weather' the book writen by English music critic David Toop; the remixes of FM3's Buddha Machine released under the name of 'Jukebox Buddha', as well as the superstar collection 'Childish Music', a compilation of naïve sounds from international artists.  

During the afternoon conversation of May 2^nd, Staubgold's head Markus Detmer will give a retrospective of Staubgold's history and explain how to develop and promote an independent label. The objective is to explicate a few key points on label management. 

The Special Night of May 2^nd will feature four acts including Joseph Suchy, Mapstation, Reuber and Klangwart who will perform and Dj until late.

Besides the two days of Music Festival, Lin Chiwei, Fujui Wang and more guests will give an extra lecture on Noise Movement in 90's Taiwan at the evening of May 3, still at 2 Kolegas Bar. Topic will cover the following issues: the relationship between noise movement and society, the international noise scene; various aesthetical viewpoints on noise. During the lecture, videos and pictures will be presented. For this occasion, Beijing will host the rebirth of legendary mag, as well as other homemade underground publications, posters and objects.

《<关于Mini Midi>》

Mini Midi是中国最早和最大的户外音乐节——迷笛音乐节的一部分。2005年，作为迷笛音乐节实验舞台，第一次出现，以后每年和迷笛音乐节同时举办。由北京迷笛演出有限公司主办，撒把芥末工作室承办。

Mini Midi是一个非赢利的，面向实验音乐、前卫音乐、即兴音乐、电子乐、噪音和声音艺术的活动，它是中国仅有的两个同类音乐节之一（另一个是杭州的二皮音乐节）。它也是每周一次的"水陆观音"免费活动的延续，全部工作人员均为志愿者。

第一届Mini Midi进行了3天，有22个组合表演；第二届Mini Midi进行了4天，有23个组合表演；第三届Mini Midi进行了3天，有27个组合表演。他们中包括Staalplaat Soundsystem、Jan Jelinek、DDV、FM3、小河、王凡、姚大钧、林其蔚、Sulumi、李剑鸿等来自北京、杭州、广州、大同、青岛、台北和德国、加拿大、日本、韩国、美国、荷兰、马来西亚的艺人。

第一至第三届Mini Midi在北京海淀公园举办。

《<关于Mini Midi 2008>》

2008年，第4届Mini Midi将于5月1至3日，在汽车电影院内，两个好朋友酒吧门前的草地及室内举办。免费入场。两个好朋友酒吧是实验音乐活动"水陆观音"的举办场地。

活动将分为讲座/座谈、户外演出和电子音乐party。因此它不仅是音乐家和观众的聚会，也是独立音乐推广者、乐评人、厂牌经营者、活动策划人的聚会，它是一个音乐生态的聚会。演出并不是最重要的，对Mini Midi来说，培育并分享场景才是最重要的。

来自伦敦的Atlantic Waves音乐节、来自柏林的Staubgold厂牌，将分别主持一个讲座/座谈，介绍这两个世界驰名的实验/独立生命体。这也是本地策划人、乐评人、独立机构、独立厂牌的一次盛大聚会。

户外演出的艺人比往年减少，但依然延续了散漫的青草气息和开放的噪音精神。来自瑞士的Andy Guhl是第一个确认的外国艺人，他是国际地下/噪音场景的英雄和前辈，著名的Voice Crack的成员。台湾第一代噪音乐队，传奇的捣乱分子"零与声"，在离开舞台10多年后，第一次相聚，在Mini Midi亮相。另一位来自台北的艺术家，"美声噪音"王福瑞的身份是：台湾90年代噪音杂志《NOISE》主编、"精·神·经"和"在地实验"成员、台北艺术大学艺术与科技中心电脑音乐实验室主持人，目前已经确定的其他艺人包括李剑鸿（杭州）、积木（杭州）、洪启乐（福州）、王凡（北京）、李增辉（北京）、小河（北京）、FM3（北京）、武权（北京）、颜峻（北京）、怀丁陛士德（北京）、Justin Padro（纽约/北京）、TronOrchestra+SAM2+SomeMoreSams+（北京/东京）、八股歌（北京）、10（东京/首尔）、李铁桥（北京/奥斯陆）、麻沸散（北京）、Bruce Gremo（纽约/北京）……

两个晚上的室内演出，是山水唱片和Staubgold两个厂牌的专场，电子乐、DJ和party。

中国独立音乐有声资料馆将在Mini Midi开设第一次移动展览。

白糖罐和其他独立机构将现场摆摊推广独立出品。

Mini Midi 2008是噪音的花季，也是中国独立场景的绽放。撒把芥末、观音唱片、白糖罐、中国当代音乐资料馆、乌鸦音乐、elvita威的生活便签、新茶网、两个好朋友、D22、愚公移山、Borderline……独立机构、个人、志愿者联合起来做一件事，甚至各做各的事，最后形成一个开放的、免费的节日。

《<关于90年代台湾噪音座谈会>》

在两天的音乐节之外增加的一个特别活动。5月3日晚上，还是在两个好朋友酒吧。"零与声"、王福瑞等人谈论90年代以来的台湾噪音运动，它和社会运动的关联、它和国际噪音场景的关联、它的美学和立场……将播放视频和图片记录。传说中的地下刊物《NOISE》、自制噪音出版物、海报、实物等等，将在北京重现。
