Hi Everybody!
It's been quite a while since the last Caamora update (exactly a
year, in fact!), but plenty has been happening - mostly in South
America!
Bolivia:
If you've been watching the caamora.net website then you've probably
seen that work has been continuing on some initial shows in Santa
Cruz, Bolivia. This has been a major project, and required much time
and effort. However the show dates are closing in, and there is still
masses to do before we perform 'She' on January 21st and 22nd 2010.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Europeans are coming!
There are several of the original performers going out to play in
Bolivia:
Agnieszka, Clive, Alan and Christina will be reprising their singing
roles.
Mark Westwood on guitar and Scott Higham on drums will be there, as
well as ex ELO cellist Hugh McDowell and Oboe player Alaster Bentley
(who both played on the original album).
Clive: 'This is already a pretty scary mountain of a project, and it's
great to know that we have many of the key people still involved. This
will certainly help towards a smoother performance!'
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Future in South America:
The idea of the two shows in Santa Cruz was to set up a 'model' of the
show. The plan is to try and tour the show around other South American
countries.
Agnieszka:
'We have several countries in our sights - Chile,
Argentina, Uruguay and others. We just need to see how it goes in
January first'.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Back to Europe?
Clive and Agnieszka have been offered a few chances to return to their
'two-man' show in Europe, so maybe 2010 will see them back on the road.
Clive:
'I've been thinking of writing some new material, so it might
be fun to get out and do some performances on this side of the word
for a change..;) This will have to wait until next year though.'

Hola!
We are pleased top say that there will be a Spanish language page
within the Caamora website, which will hopefully present the
'highlights' of caamora activity in that language.
So.... keep an eye on the website!
In the meantime, why not drop into the Caamora web shop and pick up a
copy of 'She' or 'Journey's End' for a Christmas gift.....
