Hi Everybody!

It's been quite a while since the last Caamora update (exactly a
year, in fact!), but plenty has been happening - mostly in South
America!

Bolivia:
If you've been watching the caamora.net website then you've probably
seen that work has been continuing on some initial shows in Santa
Cruz, Bolivia. This has been a major project, and required much time
and effort. However the show dates are closing in, and there is still
masses to do before we perform 'She' on January 21st and 22nd 2010.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Europeans are coming!
There are several of the original performers going out to play in
Bolivia:
Agnieszka, Clive, Alan and Christina will be reprising their singing
roles.
Mark Westwood on guitar and Scott Higham on drums will be there, as
well as ex ELO cellist Hugh McDowell and Oboe player Alaster Bentley
(who both played on the original album).

Clive: 'This is already a pretty scary mountain of a project, and it's
great to know that we have many of the key people still involved. This
will certainly help towards a smoother performance!'
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Future in South America:
The idea of the two shows in Santa Cruz was to set up a 'model' of the
show. The plan is to try and tour the show around other South American
countries.

Agnieszka: 'We have several countries in our sights - Chile,
Argentina, Uruguay and others. We just need to see how it goes in
January first'.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Back to Europe?
Clive and Agnieszka have been offered a few chances to return to their
'two-man' show in Europe, so maybe 2010 will see them back on the road.

Clive: 'I've been thinking of writing some new material, so it might
be fun to get out and do some performances on this side of the word
for a change..;) This will have to wait until next year though.'
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hola!
We are pleased top say that there will be a Spanish language page
within the Caamora website, which will hopefully present the
'highlights' of caamora activity in that language.

So.... keep an eye on the website!

In the meantime, why not drop into the Caamora web shop and pick up a
copy of 'She' or 'Journey's End' for a Christmas gift.....

Journey's End… an acoustic anthology
Price - £12.00

This double album is a great testament to all the musical journeys and experiences that Nolan and Swita enjoyed as they spread the word about 'She' with their many 'two-man' shows.

This double album features over 130 minutes of acoustic live performances from around the world, as well as a selection of never before heard demos, bonus tracks and interview footage.

These live tracks also feature some great guest appearances: familiar 'She' faces such as Mark Westwood (guitar) and Christina Booth (voice), as well as new friends like Claudio Momberg from SETI' (keyboards) in Chile and Sebastian Medina from 'William Gray' (guitar) in Argentina.

Beyond the live material, there is also a collection of demos that were made over the past few years – interesting to see how the songs developed for their final versions on 'She'.

The bonus songs include:
*'In Aeternum' - a track that was never used in the end
*The specially written title song 'Journey's End'
*Polish song 'Grunwald', featuring cello from Hugh McDowell (ex ELO).

Release dates are as follows:
Poland – November 3rd
Europe – November 10th
USA – November 25th

Available ONLINE
http://caamora.net/shop.htm
We are hoping to have copies of 'Journey's End' available from the very beginning of November, and we will be open for orders a couple of weeks before that. Keep an eye on the website.
Price £12.00

Plans are progressing for the big 'She' tour of South America in 2009. We are pleased to announce that Mark Westwood and Scott Higham are on board for this tour. They, alongside Nolan and Swita will be teaming up with singers and instrumentalists from across South America. Auditions for the parts of 'Ustane' and 'Holly' are planned for the end of this year, to be held in Bolivia and Argentina.

We hear that Nolan is currently in talks with various performers at  the moment, and word has it that he has found the next story for a rock opera, although he is playing this rumour down at the moment.

Clive Nolan: "It would be great to produce another show, but I'm really not ready to start on another three year journey yet – I want to see the outside world and meet some people first!"

Agnieszka Swita: "We are talking about a new story. It's a completely different flavour, but the same kind of intensity. I'm bracing myself for another emotional effort."

A deal has been agreed to put on the 'She' shows right across South America.
Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Mexico, Bolivia and Uruguay are all being discussed.

Clive Nolan: "This is a life-changing opportunity, and brings us one step closer to the full theatrical run in the West End...;)"

The 'She' tour is targeted for July/August 2009, and we'll keep you informed on this amazing news as it develops.

Caamora are in talks with a production company about a possible film version of 'She'. This would make a wonderful accompaniment to the CD and DVD releases already available.

Agnieszka Swita: It's really just an idea at the moment, but we have been talking about some excellent locations for filming. This would also give us a chance to go for a 'fully theatrical' performance of the show.

Various guest artists and concert performances were recorded during Caamora's last set of 'two-man' shows in Argentina and Bolivia, and there is a possibility that some kind of live album may be constructed out of this material.

Clive Nolan: It all depends on time, and what the material is actually like. It would be nice to have some kind of testament to the 'two man shows' that we have done over the last few years. It was great working with the guest musicians and maybe we can put something together. We'll see.
