One of the great things about an awareness event is that there is something for everyone to do. We are all so different and have unique abilities to reach all different kinds of people. Some of the reasons this space exsists is to teach about human trafficking, but also to allow all different people to get involved in helping by using their "art" (whatever that may be) to teach, empower and move others to action. Please comment with ideas, progress in planning or questions...thanks

Current mood: artistic
So this has been a journey...it may not seem like a big deal for those of you who are hearing about Traffick Jam for the first time, but I have had the deep yearning to host an event like this for a long time. I started learning about human trafficking two years ago...It seems like forever with such a pressing issue. At first I learned all I could about the horror of the sex trade...then I put the books down, stopped the online research and phone calls to different abolitionary agencies...I had heard enough....I let it go and desired to move on...unfortunatly I couldn't...its something you just can't shake....the sale of humans, men woman and ...children. millions of lives, stories and hurts, gallons of tears and billions of dollars. There are few things as evil as selling children for sexual purposes. I'm ready to fight.... ready to speak, give, live and breath freedom...im ready to be free and free others...whose with me
