Concombre Zombi "Daylight Comes"

Texas Psychobilly, they proudly proclaim.  And Texas Psychobilly they no doubt are.  Three piece, stand-up bass.  Lyrically, they cover lots of ghoulish MISFITS territory.  Musically, its pretty straightforward punk (albeit with a stand-up bass).  Not so much swing, though there's a little SOCIAL DISTORTION twang in there.  I'm not a fan of the genre, but they're certainly a cut above the METEORS, that's for sure.  (RK)

here's the review taken from Punk Globe:

"I like this American Psychobilly band simply because they throw in different genres of music such as 80´s Punk, Classic Rock and some Metal here and there. Just listen to the open track ´The Ripper´ then listen to something like ´Marble Orchard´ and you´ll see what I´m getting at! There´s 13 tracks on this album and not one filler. There´s none that stand out and smack you in the face but there´s no bad tracks on here either. It´s a reasonably good album and the musicianship on here is great – No grumbles there I can tell you. Production is fine and really the only thing missing on here is one or two tracks that really stand out. Maybe they should have added a couple of live tracks as they always seem to go down well with me. Still it´s an album I would go out and buy so what you waiting for? Pick the fucker up!"
